Thanks for sharing your thoughts Joey, this was a great review - we're so glad you're enjoying VITURE Pro and all the improvements we've made since VITURE One!
Hey Viture!
I'm a DIY enthusiast. I know a lot of engineering likely went into the device, but how friendly is it if I pull these apart and do things like a custom frame? Will it be tough to get everything integrated properly once more?
I was thinking a cyberpunk vibe might make these sorta things a bit stylish!
Instead of a "pro" I wished one of them made a "lite" with display only. No sensors, no sound, just screens. My nose gets really red with their weight.
I wouldn't like it without sound. It's odd in my opinion hearing the sound coming from a different place to where the screen is. If you have a VR headset, output the sound to the TV only to get an idea of what I mean.
But I’d rather wear my AirPods. So I agree, glasses that only had the screens would be great. Hell, move the electronics to a clip on the cord for your belt or pocket too.
@@TBMartin I use galaxy buds. Its annoying have to turn off the sound from the glasses.
@@dave882 Anything to help to make them lighter and more comfortable is a plus imo. A simpler design is what I am looking for.
Best informative review so far. All what you said in the first 90 seconds is the issues i had with the One too. And also with the prescription lenses. So happy this finally got fixed. Although it’s already a little investment now buying the second model to have what I expected from the first.
I wonder if the comfort and usability of the glasses could improve if they didn't try so hard to stick with a design that resembles traditional glasses? I'm not saying they should move towards something like a VR headset, but if they tried a design that focuses more on functionality than on aesthetics, perhaps they could improve even further.
I've been watching your videos for a few months now and I thought I was already subbed sorry about that love your videos bro
I bought a pair when it was still Nreal before the rebrand to Xreal. Glad to see Viture is progressing and more open to user compared to Xreal
lol nice poses in the opening 😂
Nice review. I know I want some AR glasses, I just don't know if I want the Viture or Xreal Air 2. The Vitures just look like they are more narrow than the xreal to me
My question is if you're using these on a plane, will you hear anything with the cabin noise in the background?
Does the virtual display stay in front of your face when you move your head around, or can it be anchored in space so you can turn away from it?
With the XR Gaming plugin for the deck, yes. More info in my channel.
Would Psychonauts Rhombus of Ruin work with these on a Steam Deck? 🤔
is the neckband worth it?
Great review Joey, thanks
so you can't do usbc from the glasses to usbC to hdmi to anything that connects via hdmi?
No, you need something to translate. USB-C is not simply a different connector than HDMI. There are HDMI female to USB-C female adapters on Amazon for about $35. They are tricky to find, but the sellers are starting to put XR Glasses in the thumbnail for them to stand out.
@@ruzaroos wow, thanks for the suggestion! looking now!
You say it works with old 3D movies, like 3D Blu-ray? Have you tested this or just Internet videos? I want to know because 3d Blu-ray is more complicated then just a side by side UA-cam video. Also this device is only hdcp 1.4 so it probably won't work with 3d Blu-ray or 4k Blu-rays for anti piracy protection purpose. I imagine normal blu ray would work but have you tested 4K or 3D Blu-ray. I would love to here a reply if you could.
Apologies, I don't own any 3d blurays at all to test, but via the mobile dock and hdmi to a 3d bluray player is what I'm told is how it works. My testing was internet.

If it helps.
I only just got the Originals maybe 2 months ago, i'm loving them but do you reckon it would be worth upgrading?
Yes 2:49
I suppose i could always sell em for like 300.@@Gg56328
Not really. You will probably need the neck thingy, not a fan of the thing.
Okay white Morpheus where do I plug into the Matrix?
Do you think there is enough clarity to use them productively? I'm just waiting for the tech to reach that point. Also (imo) they may as well stop trying to make them look like sunglasses and just go all out with eye visors, it seems like trying to make everything fit into wayfarers is a self imposed limitation.
I got mine few days ago and on mack with Spacewalker app on 3 screen set up I worked for about 3 hours. My eyes wore fine, no issue working with them. Just getting use to wearing glasses. They are heavier then sunglasses so at least for me it takes time to get use to.
@lukask4498 no edge blur? I just got a pair of xreal pro 2s and the edge blur is driving me nuts. Considering returning for these
@@jeppusahn not after I pick the right size nose pads. It take little tinkering with all the settings to get them right.
Mine arrives today!
How are they?
@@seanpenfold6993 amazing. Some eye strain with the brightness all the way up.
I love the idea of these for traveling (on a train or a passenger in a car) but I don't understand the use of these at home when you could pick up a Quest 3 for the same price, have VR, AR and still be able to play your games on a large virtual screen. It doesn't help when the quest 3 will get a travel mode. Totally understand if you don't want something strapped to your face but once you are in AR mode, you forget that in my opinion.
I hope these get to a point where they output 4K because that will help them stay in a market where a lot of devices can do the same thing.
The Quest 3 doesn't have a simple display in mode, so you have to use software to get the PC to display inside the headset. The beauty of these glasses is how simple they are; which opens up so many devices. Take the horrible Netflix app on Quest 3. Connecting the Viture Pro to my iPad Mini nets a much better image than the silly Quest Netflix App. I even use an HDMI adapter to connect to a Chromecast. This makes it easy to navigate with just the remote rather than having to engage with the touch screen on the iPad. It is also way better for all the handheld gaming consoles or even a gaming laptop with USB-C display out. I don't need any special software or effort to connect these glasses to my gaming laptop when I want higher framerates and detail than what a gaming handheld can put out. 4K will definitely be amazing and I would also say these companies should just give up on the "sunglasses" format and just makes it look like a light VR headset like the HTC Vive Flow. That would make it easier to get to 4K and give the viewer a better field of view for a larger implied screen size. The sunglass metaphor is useless. It is the size and weight that matter.
@@ruzaroos If you're connecting the glasses to a PC, A Quest 3 can do the same thing with better quality, its plug and play with one extra bit of software that's easy to set up.
@@TBMartin I think these glasses have their use for whoever wants to have a lighter headset and convenience, but I agree with you that if you don't have those edge case scenarios of like, playing on the train (tbh it baffles me there are some countries so safe where people can feel comfortable playing with $2k+ devices on a train, make it +4k with the apple headset new thingy announced this week) or on a plane, and don't care about the added weight then price and feature wise the Quest 3 is best bang for the money indeed. And setting up Virtual Desktop is a one time and forget type of deal.
@@SToad They definitely have a place but that place is being made smaller by other devices offering more features for the same price. Yes these glasses are lighter than a VR headset and these would be great for wimps who wimp out at 300g strapped to their face lol But if you're the type of consumer who vales money and what you get with that money, I think 9 out of 10 people would go for the VR headset regardless of weight because of the features on offer.
They should have made this as thin as possible just with the screens maybe? It would cost less, many people would buy, a bluetooth headphone can be paired with the steam deck or O2M and it becomes more practical.
What is that system to the right of the controller
Steam Deck OLED
One the small ones at the left then
@@runman2627 Directly left is the Odin 2 Mini.
1080p on simulated 135"? 1080 is barely acceptable on my 65" tv. Guess the price would be too high if they increased the res, but this doesnt hit home for me.
The glasses are better than x real I have it
@@Gg56328the x real pro 2?
wearable arcade would be cool.
Bring an 8bitdo nes controller or something, and just start playing nes games or whatever on the bus
only 1080p?
1080p is barely acceptable on my 65" tv. This is supposed to be simulating 135", 1080p is a deal breaker on this.
why do you need more??
Are you an astrologist or something?
@@severitas1 im guessing you haven't seen what 1080p looks like on a 75"+ screen. It's not ideal.
@@jayjayhooksch1 it's useless and disgusting a 40+ screen for home
@@severitas1 useless and disgusting? You sound bitter my guy. Lots of people are happy with big screens.
Dock has HDMI *in*
Future handhelds will probably have no screens, youll just plug in whatever glasses you want.
In the future, the handheld devices will most likely be built into the glasses. Handheld devices might be eliminated altogether, and all you need will be a pair of glasses with all the functions and computational features built into glasses 😂.
My biggest complaint is they are way too bright for my eyes. On the lowest setting my eyes are watering. I don't want the old version but these are just too bright for me. Please Viture, allow darker screens for people with sensitive eyes 🙏
Imma be honest, I just clicked on this too take some screenshots 😏
another free delivery of 1000 worth of glasses for a good review, let me guess 120 inch screen , lies its 55 inch at best
It's not 55 inch I have the Glasses
Dude the screen size is relative to the backround.
It's like a 27 inch monitor if you face the wall from 60 cm away. But if you step back it looks bigger.
Lol😂
They're the same as the original, too much warm color and still blurry edges even without nose piece. Maybe a bigger screen but same picture
Is the edge blur worse than the xreal pro 2s?
@jeppusahn without the nose piece on the xreal pro 2 there are no blurred edges, what I did was use a moldable foam at the nose piece insert (without nose piece) and pressed my face to it to find the sweet spot. If viture had the foldable y axis feature it might have helped with better FOV too. Every person's face is shaped differently so they should factor that in by making them a bit larger.
Cool? Not for me.
