Thanks for reviewing our accessories! This was a great look at the Neckband, Mobile Dock, and other pieces from our ecosystem. We're glad you're enjoying VITURE One. 😎
@VITURE Just to let you know I have been using my Viture one xr glasses with my rog ally and iPad they are amazing - was great having a large virtual display on the plane on holiday, I was really surprised how light they are easily one of the coolest most futuristic devices I’ve ever brought 😁
@@therunawaykid6523 Wow I am so glad to hear that! Thanks so much for letting us know! We will keep moving forward to improve the experience for everyone!❤
I have a question. If I buy a Mobile Dock, will I be able to connect it to the iPhone 15 or do I need to buy an adapter for the iPhone 15 separately? Thank you 🙏
I just got the Viture glasses, they come later this week. I also have the Legion Go which, thankfully has 2 usb c ports. Hopefully more handhelds will adopt this. Can't wait to see what this all looks like!
Do let me know how you like it! The additional USB-C port means we don't have to live in dongle hell with even one additional dongle, and that matters! Thanks for the comment!
The neckband is a game changer. I do cloud gaming through Shadow PC, and apparently I can connect a bluetooth mouse and keyboard to the Viture. I was considering getting the Steam Deck LCD since they’re on sale, but now that I know these glasses can be a self contained system… I’m starting to think I only want these.
Wow. What an amazing comment, seriously. I'm not being my usual sarcastic self. I will have to try this out with a mouse and keyboard. Wonderful idea! Thanks for the comment!
Seriously cool of viture to make accessories that work with non-viture glasses, I've been using the charging dongle with my nreal air for awhile now. I'm looking to pick up a new alir of glasses because my airs are a bit junky now from various mods I did, and I'm leaning towards viture. I'm also wanting an android TV device designed specifically for AR glasses, and there's a few options, but the form factor of the neckband is awesome, ans the primary thing that was steering me away was the proprietary magnetic connector, but now that there's an adapter that's a non issues I do wish it had better battery life though, from what I've seen online, the neckband only gets about 2 hours of battery life before you have to have a cable coming from your neck to your pocket anyway to charge it from a power bank.
Thanks for your detailed comment! I understand completely about the battery life. when you have another cable running down your back or chest, it basically becomes a similar issue to having your phone in your pocket, here's hoping the next version addresses that!
Thanks for the great question. When I tested it, you could connect the Nreals using the VITURE adapter, but you do lose some functionality like "Ambient mode", basically it'll just treat the Nreal/Xreals like another display but not recognize them as AR glasses, so I think the SBS 3D may or may not work.
@UNPhantom93 hi thanks for your question. I probably did a bad job explaining. You don't need anything else to have the video output to the glasses if toy have a compatible phone (onr with video over USB-C) For streaming a game over the cloud it'll depend on a few other factors. The adapter I used is just to let the neckband connect to a monitor since it needs it for that. Hope this helps!
Yeah I love my xr glasses I’ve watched movies with them which was a great experience and even a few 3d ones they work with my rog ally and iPad perfectly also really good for use with the Pluto tv app which is a streaming service that has movies and live tv shows to watch totally free - definitely feels like you are in the future wearing them!
I'm definitely not an optometrist and know very little about prescription lenses, but I'm assuming that's a relatively low level of magnification. Do you normally wear glasses during the day? That said, the diopters should work to let you see what's projected/displayed in the video in focus, but not everything in the lens of course. So to confirm I'm not just assuming things though, I'd ask Viture since they have very helpful support staff at happycustomer@viture.us If you don't get a response, feel free to reply back and I can follow up with them directly! Thanks so much for your comment!
@@gamers-generation Regards from Kuwait. Thanks for your prompt reply . I do wear progressive lenses daily. I contacted VITURE and they confirmed that my eye sight is within the range of the dial. However the configuration is for nearsightedness up to -5 but I have mild farsightedness +1 and +0.75 so I have to wait til I receive the glasses. If I don’t see clearly then I will go ahead and order the inserts like I did with my Quest 3. Again thanks a lot for your continued support.
@@muwaffaq27 Thank you for the explanation, you've taught me something new! Also I'm thrilled that they clarified how the diopters work, I'm sorry they don't work for your needs. The good news though is that with inserts, everything you see in the glasses (not just the projected image) should look nice and clear for you. Thanks for following up, and no need to thank me -- I'm happy to help!
Great question. They both have their little caveats. Personally I like the build quality, support, and ecosystem for VITURE vs. The Xreal products but unfortunately we're not comparing the same products, The VITURE Ones are more like the Xreal Airs, and don't (yet) have an Air Ultra type equivalent (in both price and features). Given that you could buy the Viture glasses, neckband, mobile dock, and have a bit of cash to spare, for the price of the Ultras I'm not sold on the Ultras, especially since those have limited compatibility as well.
My main complaint is considering the price of the dock its a little ridiculous you cant charge and play at the same time out of the box and 50 bucks (excluding the sale going on) is a bit of a slap to the face. It gives me apple vibes but the glasses are amazing for long road.
Apologies but maybe I missed something. The limitation to charge and watch at the same time is because phones don't have more than one port. If you have a Legion Go or an ROG Ally X for instance, you don't need a dongle. But at the same time if you get a mobile dock you can also "charge and play" at the same time, I will agree though that it's not cheap... Thanks for your comment!
@gamers-generation thanks for the reply! So i mean, it would be nice if their was a way to charge the dock while using it. I normally plug in my steamdeck when i game. Since i can't do that with the dock natively, it means i only have a certain amount of time to play. Now, in fairness, the dock does hold a reasonable amount of power, so it's not like im struggling to enjoy my game. Major first world problem, if im honest lol.
Seems like you need the mobile dock for co-op mode, but can you plug it into a macbook pro so that 2 people (using 2 glasses) can see the same screen? Also does it decrease the video from 120hz to 60ha at 1080 when using the mobile dock splitter?
Hey sorry for the late reply. Sort of.. I mean you could play co-op games if say one person was using a handheld and then another had the glasses, but for the "optimal" and "equal" experience, you'd use the dock with two pairs as you said. Also unfortunately it's only 60hz afaik right now because of heat concerns. I've been told though that they're investigating 90hz and 120hz. Thanks for your comment!
Thanks for your comment! It can with limited functionality (assuming you have the adapter), as in you'll get a picture but you won't be able to use the "ambient mode". So like in the video how it displays out to the monitor, the glasses will be the monitor then.
@@Limitbreak09 Sorry if you mean "ambient mode" then no. The image will stay fixed in the center of your vision. Without the Viture One's, as far as I know, the neckband will just turn into something like the Rokid Station... though there is a beta test for a cool feature coming... that I can't talk about right now sorry. Thanks for your comment!
Great question! Steam Link does work as well as the Xbox GamePass Ultimate if you're streaming from the cloud. I don't have an XSX/XSS so I can't test the local streaming, but I'd guess that should work as well; Basically any app that is compatible with Google TV/Android TV should work. Thanks for your comment!
The dock should be sufficient for a Switch when the Switch is in handheld mode. When docked, it shouldn't be needed. Sorry I can't confirm at the moment as I sold my Switch. Planning to get a new one though soon.
Hello! Technically... no? Basically the neckband (and app, though the app has fewer options) lets you shrink the image into a corner of the viewable screen. The "zoom" only goes so far as the central area of what you see, so there's no way to "completely surround yourself" in the image if that makes sense? Sorry, poor explanation. It's kind of early here...
There's probably some confusion in the marketing. Do you mean using the dock as the player/streamer? The dock is primarily for connecting a device (like a Switch, Steam Deck, or even PS5), and it also has a battery pack inside of it. It in itself doesn't have an OS so it can't play things like the neckband does. How do you like the neckband and glasses? Thanks for your comment!
Yes it will work as long as it's compatible with the Android TV version of Android. You can also sideload "phone" versions of apps if you have access to the APKs. Do note though that there may be difficulty like browser navigation without use of say a mouse or controller if you have to just keep clicking through with direction buttons. Tans for the comment!
