Please Note: I'm not encouraging never learning music theory. You have to, at some point, at least learn or familiarize yourself with the basics to be able to improve the work you do. All I am saying is this is a great tool for those who want to get started in making music now but don't have the ability to play piano, guitar, program drums, etc etc. If you want to create, you should be able to. Arcade makes that possible. Let it be the tool that starts you out, and then continue the journey yourself once you learn proper music theory.
Yes. I already have a PRO, I’ve been with SESAC for 12 years and I already know about the copyright site. The stolen work was stuff uploaded to my channel prior or previews that artists chopped up and flipped to pretend they made it. I’ve already spoken with my lawyer about take downs and other actions I can take. Some of it I can handle, some of it takes time & money. Which Makes it difficult for me for the time being. So I just stopped posting them online.
Have been straight binge watching arcade tutorials for 6 straight hours while pulling an all-nighter and was still hesitant. Watched this video, subscribed to arcade as soon as the video finished.
It is really hard at first. Requires lots of free time, dedication, and thought! I feel like recording music requires dedication to simply thinking about it.
You just got another subscriber Mr. IAMLXGEND. I had subscribed to Arcade by Output for a 6 months last year but wasn't using it enough to continue. With tutorials like this, well I should sign up again. Thanks and keep posting your music and what you're discovering in Arcade!

I got Arcade around the time it first came out, and I absolutely love it. It's fun to just goof around, and just experiment with it. The only dilemma I have is that since it IS a loop synthesizer, I can't do an entire track for commercial and advertising music, because using too many loops is not good for production music. Arcade is ALL THAT for composing full music tracks for streaming, radio, and so on. But you CAN use bits and pieces of the loops in production music. It's just frowned upon to compose an entire track of loops only.
Who cares if it’s frowned at. That’s the way i think. Lol. Does it sound good or not? 🤷🏾♂️ honestly that’s all I care about. Sometimes I use no loops at all and other times I’ll use a bunch. Just depends.
@@IAMLXGEND I'm with you. I believe I can compose THOUSANDS of tracks with just Arcade alone. I'm just saying, being that I'm new to composing for film and television, going by the "rules" , it's laid out that you CAN use loops in production music, but use them sparingly.
absolutely bro! you just gotta get over the fear of starting sometimes, make mistakes get messy, its all good! I learned by starting its actually not as scary because there's an undo button XD you can always keep getting better but you'll never know if you don't try.

BRUUUHHH!! I just copped Arcade yesterday and was honestly a little reluctant when I saw $10/mo... but after what I just saw in this video??? YOU CAN'T PUT A PRICE on that level of capability this software provides-especially for an autodidact who never went to music school, such as myself. And that beat though?? THAT BEAT??! you DID THAT, bro!! KILLLLLLLEERRRRRR! Hands-down best live beat production result I've ever seen on youtube. And I've seen a lot lol. Good to see a fellow producer who doesn't run to the safety of another typical trap beat. ✊🏾 #subbed
Yea lol I hate trap. Way overdone and way too tired. I’m so sick of it. So I make what I feel rather than what’s popular. I a[preciate you for watching.
This is pretty much every commercial for it. "Oh this beat is sick" "Oh that beat is cold" " Oh that's tight" "If I had this when I was 20 I'd be a billionaire" One of the more stupid products sold to people who can't music but want to be a SoundCloud rapper. This and that midi pack are going to end up making a lot of shit music
I’ve been using it for a month or so now and I love how quick and ready it can be but it can also go deep down the rabbit hole if you’re feeling more creative. Such a good vibe. Sucks you can’t buy it tho, subscription system is lame imhumbleo....
Absolutely…use the tools available to you. There is so much you can accomplish with little no music theory understanding. I would still however encourage anyone who really wants to dive into production to get at least a basic understanding of chords, chord progressions, key signatures and rhythm. It will take your ability to use the tool to a different level. Keep creating!
My g this video gave me a chill cos from start to finish its all me getting up with a high energy but just I can't get these beats out my head thanks for the tutorial you sold me on a product that ain't even your making lol real sells man stay blessed put out more videos to do with output please Salute!!
The thing I like about your video as opposed to others is that you take a tool that, on the surface seems complicated, and break it down in a concise manner that really helps folks who are new to music production (like myself) understand what the hell they’re doing. Big up!
That’s what I do best man. Nobody has time for over-complications and super technical jargon. I share information in the way I’d want it shared with me and that’s just as human and simple as possible!
Hey bro do you need the midi keyboard to use it? Assuming with the whole white vs black key system you might... I have maschine studio and wanna try this out but I don’t own a keyboard at the moment
Yes Of course. I’m not saying to completely ignore it and never learn it I’m just saying this is how to get started immediately, right now. While you learn or find a place to be taught proper theory.
Dude, you're a funny guy - that wakeup routine was me two hours ago. I just subscribed to Output Arcade this morning. I came up with the Acid Pro/Sound Forge way of loop-writing so I'm confident I'll get this. I started playing piano at 7 & guitar at 12 and learned music theory all through that time, then re-studied it on my own later on. Learning music theory is worth the effort. I wont write with anyone who can't speak the language - time is money. Too many producers use excuses when they're just too lazy to bother.

i tried the same vocal chops as you "whatever u need' but i don't get the same part as you please if you changed it to something else let me know the name of the sample you used
Hey bro 🙂 It's been a minute. First off. I credit you for introducing me to arcade. I been ever so happy since. Do you have a video or could tell me if you think the production quality of a full song is radio ready as is without a whole lot of mixing ànd master. And if it does how would you get radio ready?
When working with arcade, i know they create loops for you but, if you’re creating your own loops, does it do it for you or I have to get the timing right for the loops to be perfect? Just waiting on my new piano in the mail. I’ll be able to see for myself eventually but just want to know.
Whatever you play is what you play. You are playing loops but you still have to play them on beat if you want them to be on beat. It doesn’t do EVERYTHING for you.
Please Note: I'm not encouraging never learning music theory. You have to, at some point, at least learn or familiarize yourself with the basics to be able to improve the work you do. I currently only do leases or exclusives so we’d have to go that route. If you’re a serious buyer I can finish it and make it available.
LXGENDS.com
But I don’t have beats on there available to listen to. People like to steal m.
Exclusive is always $500. It’s only lower if it’s an older premade beat. Lease is $50. No stems.

FL sudio and arcade are great, but i can't figure out how to get my actual arcade loop onto my track! I can't seem to find any tutorials explaining how to do it so if anyone knows how to, lemme know. Thanks!
Just play it like any other VST. Press record, record what you play on the keys.
@@IAMLXGEND ohhhh ok, that makes sense. Thank you
How do I sync fr studio to arcade? Everything plays in slo mo for me and it’s super frustrating trying to figure out how to fix it

I didn't change anything.
You just picked up a new Subscriber...... 💯👍🏾✌🏿
Do you need a keyboard with it? Or can you select the loops on the screen itself?
You do not need a keyboard!
No keyboard needed but I do recommend one, makes it a lot easier.
This sparked inspiration for me!! Dope beat 💪🏾💯
Glad tidings and comfort and joy
is it good if you record with microphone ?
thank you, and very good video, just learning this stuff, thumbs up
As I hoped would be the case. Glad the video wasn’t in vain. hope you make some great stuff!
How about studying music could be a great help
When working with arcade, i know they create loops for you but, if you’re creating your own loops, does it do it for you or I have to get the timing right for the loops to be perfect? Just waiting on my new piano in the mail. I’ll be able to see for myself eventually but just want to know.
Whatever you play is what you play. You are playing loops but you still have to play them on beat if you want them to be on beat. It doesn’t do EVERYTHING for you.
