- Today I am starting Mother's Day Weekend early with a refreshing frozen margarita. It has been a long week and I wanted to treat myself. This recipe is so simple and the ratios of tequila to lime mix is up to your preference. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS
8 fl oz (236.5 ml) fresh squeezed lime juice
1/2 cup (100 g) sugar
2 1/2 fl oz to 4 fl oz of tequila
12 1/2 oz (354 g) to 1 lb (454 g) ice
margarita salt and lime slices for garnish

I love making margaritas; for me I only use frozen fruit, the mixers and alcohol, gives me a creamer consistency and not as watery as it would be with ice.
Patron is the only way to go! It's so smooth and relaxing...lol

I need your advice..I had a frozen margarita that was absolutely delicious but it was blue in color..I’m assuming blue cocora sp? was added it was sweet and perfect do you have any suggestions or a recipe using it?
