Coco López. Here in Puerto Rico we say Coco López is the only cream of coconut for a real Piña Colada. We do add a little lime juice or bitters. Some people add a splash of heavy cream but I stay away from diary.
First I use fresh mangoes without the peel, and then yogurt, and some vanilla ice cream, along with some cinnamon and vanilla, and th- oh wait a minute that's mango Lassie nvm
I used her recipe several times and LOVE it! Starting adding the juice of 1 lime per person & loved it even more. Also a dash of salt for contrast. Coco Lopez all the way. 😎 I once subbed frozen mango and loved it but no Caribbean trip vibes like pineapple. We’ve had a lot of fun with these! Thanks to the OP! 🫡
Love the fresh pineapples chunks blended. My recipe is slightly different. 2 Rum (Plantation 3 stars) 2 pineapple juice, 1 creme of coconut (for me 2 oz Coco Lopez overpowers everything else) 1/4 lime juice, 1/8 Giffard orgeat. Blend with a glass full of crushed ice. The lime just adds a bit of zing to the pineapple and the orgeat adds a touch of nuttiness to the coconut.
Yummy!!!! I had coconut cream leftover from a frosting recipe and searched for a fast and easy Pina Colada recipe to make last night. After watching a few videos I thankfully came across yours and within minutes I had an awesome drink!!! Thanks!!!
A good winter drink is Hot Apple Cider with cinnamon sticks apple slices(figi apples work well) water, apple cider mix per recommended parts per water and after making the apple cider pour in a glass and add a shot or two of Fireball whiskey.🍎🍎🍎🥃
If you want just a little more kick out of your pina colada add a shot or 2 of spiced rum. A local bar at the island I'm from calls it a turbo and it's 👌
I was looking for small cans of the juice didn’t find it I was stuck with big one …haha love ur honesty, me too my sis too don’t want to do the whole Work of cutting peeling to enjoy our pina coladas. My first time doing it …appreciate u telling me to stir that cause I def would of just used the top
Healthyish haha. But keep in mind it likely won't be as sweet as you may be used to. Upping the pineapple will increase sweetness as well as making it thicker. And best to freeze the pineapple or it will warm up the drink some. Also I don't recommend using the coconut milk in boxes, that stuff is too thin. Stick with the canned full fat for best results!
Ever tried putting all ingredients in blender first, then freezing and leaving the ice out, would that be overkill on sweetness as the ice neutralizes the drink to the perfect taste? I'm just not a fan of ice in frozen alcohol recipes as I don't want to water the drinks down & lose flavor but at same time I understand it's a COLD drink. You can get ice cubes from the frozen pineapple juice
If I wanted to substitute Malibu rum for the Bacardi, how many ounces would I use for this recipe? I love this drink…an added bonus is because of the fruit and no soda, if you over-imbibe your hangover is minor and short-lived.😅
how long does it take to actually make the pina Colada? because im doing an assesment for college and we had to choose a cocktail and a mixed drink. still havent thought what im going to do for the mixed drink. We are supposed to do both drinks in 7 mins.
I’ll be in Mexico in a week and was looking for Piña Colada recipes to make some, but I’m a “with cream of coconut and coconut cream” dilema, since both of the are written and pronounce the same in spanish😅😅 so I won’t know how to ask for the correct one😂😂
It may have been super shaken up already or very warm, but it usually has separated if it's the right stuff and normal temp in the house. Coconut products firm up when they are cold and melt when warmer so it's probably just warm!
Yes you can! As I mentioned it will not be as authentic but it's still quite yummy. I prefer full fat and scrape the top of the can of the thicker stuff. You can also add additional sweetener if desired!
I just made the mistake of buying the coconut cream can she first showed. If you're going to make this listen to her and get the right coconut because it makes all the difference!!!
Can you just use whatever the equivalent is in water, rather than ice, (would have to figure this out) and pineapple straight from a tin, rather than frozen pineapple, then chill it in the fridge? I would be afraid of damaging the little blades in my food processor.
Hmmm I have no idea haha. I would think using that much water would thin the drink down to a really unsatisfying flavor. I'd honestly just use the frozen pineapple and skip the ice, then pour over some ice! Frozen pineapple should definitely not hurt your food processor.
Haha well birth 3 tiny gremlins and homeschool them for a year through a pandemic and a divorce simultaneously. Some things you just learn to let go in your cocktail skills haha.
Hey Clark! We often don't say the exact measurements because they are in the description below the video in the written recipe and on our blog. If you open up the drop down under all of our videos you'll get the full recipe! Makes it to where I don't have to read off of a screen reader or try to memorize tons of recipes in order to bring them to you. I try to remember as many as I can but if I miss something you can always find it there. Hope that helps!
@lolitabonita08 it’s actually good cause just one angle can get boring. how that confuses u is funny …I enjoy seeing her smile from the side when she poured the 2oz alcohol. A lot of women can relate to the smile when we about to get a delicious drink
You can use canned full fat coconut milk but it's not sweet so you will want to sweeten it! I don't recommend using coconut milk that's in a drinkable style container or low fat as it's just really thin.
What kind of coconut product did you use to make your Piña Coladas??!?
Coco López. Here in Puerto Rico we say Coco López is the only cream of coconut for a real Piña Colada. We do add a little lime juice or bitters. Some people add a splash of heavy cream but I stay away from diary.
Coco Lopez!
Thank for the coconut cream tip! I would of cometelly gotten the wrong one!
Lopez cream of coconut I use all the time.

Yes!
If you’re not into yoga,
If you have half a brain😉🤣
What I like about your method, is it allows for creativity with the ingredients.
I am a big fan of not going to the grocery store haha.

Totally revolutionized my pina colada game!
good video enjoy your day..!!
Thank you for the great video. If I don't want any alcahol, can I just skip the rum part and if so, do I need a replacement for that?
Very nice you are showing. Thank you.
Yay!!! Love this video & this recipe is definitely needed right now. 🤣
Yes! All the quarantine cocktails 😍

Yum!
I'm not a huge coconut fan so I'm excited about the potential of sweetened condensed milk as an option! Looks delicious!
Yes if you don't love coconut then definitely do the sweetened condensed milk!
I made these...they are good.
If you want just a little more kick out of your pina colada add a shot or 2 of spiced rum. A local bar at the island I'm from calls it a turbo and it's 👌
Looks delicious
Scrumptious.... & the drink looks delicious too
Thank you!
Yeah, she sure is all that and a bag of chips too, yummy !!
Put the Coco Lopez can inside a container with very hot water for ~5 mins to dissolve. Stir and then pour what you need.
Frozen pineapple 🤩
Word. I'm exhausted 😂

Yum!
No but seriously she actually said word by word what I was thinking in my mind one time when I was watching us. how? And wow
it is a brilliant recipe
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it!
Store your coconut cream can upside down. It makes it easier to stir up.
Love that tip!
Put a dark rum float on top and yay👍
That would be amazing!
Does blending longer somehow make it slushier? When I make mine it seems the longer I blend the more watered down it gets.
look so yummy 🍍🥥😋👍🏻
Great job explaining! I love that drink you made! You just got another subscriber! Cheers!
Thanks Mark! Welcome to the channel!
She is so gorgeous 😍😍
Awww thank you!
You could probably shake up the can before opening it :)
Haha yes I'm sure that would have helped! Good arm work out!
This looks so good!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you!!
So you could use fresh Pinapple and fresh coconut milk ice and rum. And you have a healthy drink. Thanks

It's pretty darn fast! I bet you could do an old fashioned and this in 7 minutes with some practice :)
Nice looks delicious

yummy
I congratulate you!! That’s a real piña colada, at least to me.

Love it
Thank you!
Kindly tell if you don’t wanna use rum then what chillis we use instead ?
Use all the chilis you have in the cabinets
I bought the same can. No cream it's all liquid is that normal?
It may have been super shaken up already or very warm, but it usually has separated if it's the right stuff and normal temp in the house. Coconut products firm up when they are cold and melt when warmer so it's probably just warm!
have you tried making popcycles out of this?
No but that is an excellent idea!!
What about coconut. Milk ?????
How much cream of coconut?
It look like she used her 2 oz shot glass. Same as juice and rum.
Yes 2 ounces! The recipe is in the description and on our blog :)

Oh no! I hope you make it with the good stuff soon! ❤️
Does the pineapple need to be frozen
It makes the drink more icy and delish but you can use fresh if you increase the ice. Just drink fast! I definitely prefer frozen pineapple vs fresh.

Name calling is so unnecessary however you can use the fresh pineapple

👎🏼Coco Lopez Coconut Cream….tons of artificial crap! Just use cream of coconut and sweeten to your taste!
You can totally do that if you like as I mentioned in the video :) Lots of options!
Coco lopez is so gros, dont use that! Use real coconut cream and a little malibu. Canned pinapple juice? No no use fresh juice missy!
Haha you do you girl! It tastes delish this way and I'm sure malibu would be lovely.
