Ugh!! my all time fav!! If there was a hard day at school it was a bee line for margaritas! We teachers would soak our day in pitchers of the stuff. Then we’d laugh until we cried!! i love them... great vid. I just a classic regular lime ,extra tequila and blended!! yummy!
Thank you for your kind words. I don't think Food Network cooks food anymore. Everything has a timer and usually involves eliminating someone after they mess up. Even Cooking Channel has Iron Chef. Not much cooking there either. We don't have much of a time limit on our shows. They usually take as long as is necessary to show you how to cook something without too many cuts. Glad you love our channel. We appreciate you watching and your kind words.
I don't drink alcohol but I've had a similar recipe before. I was curious so I decided to squeeze some blood orange. The fragrance of the blood orange made it amazing, and it isn't as powerful as normal oranges so you still get the nice strawberry taste.
Alcohol isn't that good for you either. But it's necessary for this drink. But you can omit it and just make a virgin margarita or a smoothie. I think the salt and sugar are important.
If you want sweetness, you can make a simple syrup. 1 cup of hot/boiling water and one cup granulated sugar. Stir until dissolved. Chill the syrup. Any unused syrup will store for up to a week in the fridge.
simple syrup is usually 1:1 ratio. So one cup of granulated sugar and one cup of very hot/boiling water. Stir until its all dissolved and let it cool down. I think you can keep unused syrup in your fridge for up to a week.
Perfect consistency....for the rest I find it’s quite natural ingredients, I would have put half countreau double tequila but not important, perfection sucks :-)
With regular granulated sugar, you run the risk of it not dissolving and being gritty like sand. So you have a few choices. You can either buy or make super-fine sugar. Put some dry granulated sugar in a blender and pulse until it becomes "fine". Do not overdo it or you'll have powdered sugar. Or else, you can make simple syrup by mixing one part sugar with one part water, such as 1 cup each. You can either boil and stir on the stove or do it in the microwave oven. But you need to wait for it to cool down before you can use it. We commonly use simple syrup or will use the store bought margarita mix with frozen strawberries. I hope that helps.
@@Jacobyt-e6c probably half a pitcher is enough ingredients for two people if you don't want refills. Assuming you're using 12 ounce glasses. You want 24 ounces of ingredients. Adjust if using smaller glasses.
I think we just want an excuse to eat Mexican food and get drunk. I think a lot of people think it has to do with Mexico's independence or something, rather than the anniversary of the Battle of Puebla. If anyone can defeat Napoleon III, then they deserve a holiday!!!
Just for the record, the Margarita was not a Mexican drink. It was invented in the late 40’s but a Bartender in Texas for a lady who asked for something different.
Hi Nikolai! You can use any orange liqueur such as Cointreau, Curacao or Grand Marnier. They are more expensive tho especially for a blended drink. If you wanted to pass on the Triple Sec, it wouldn't be that big of a deal. Just up the tequila...or you can make a Daiquiri using the same recipe but substituting rum for tequila.
4 Cups Strawberries 1 Cup Tequila 1/4 cup Triple Sec 1/2 Cup Simple Syrup 1/2 Cup Lime Juice 2Cups Ice. Adjust accordingly.
She was talking way to much. I was like come on with it.
Thanks
@@rghennig1 UA-camrs spend a lot of time plugging products. That is how some of them make money at it.
Grand marnier or Cointro instead of triple sec.
Exactly what I wanted to know! Thanks!
I'm making margaritas tomorrow, since our local cantina is closed because of COVID19. I just can't wait another 2 weeks.
The unbelievable accuracy of how this brought me here too... smh! LOL
Here here! Cheers 🥂
I just love the enthusiasm and pure joy in her voice lol kinda reminds me of my inner voice lol love it!
Her giggle Everytime she pours stuff into the blender is funny as hell. I'm over here laughing with you. 💯
I love strawberry margaritas with extra salt😋
Thanks a million! From Russia with love 🥰
Wow, that beats ice, strawberry Kool-Aid, bottle lime juice and Cuervo.
I never thought of using Kool-Aid. Thank you for watching, we appreciate it.
Idk how I ended up here but I’m about to make this drink 🍹

Yep. I am the same way. On Friday after work, all I want is a margarita and some tableside guacamole!!

TY JUST MADE SOME BUT I AM MAKING MINE A FEW DAYS BEFORE ANDDURING THE 4TH!!! CHEERS!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE THE MAR GLASSES!!!
Amy , you crack me up with your laugh!. These look great, I'll try them for my fiesta coming up. Ole'
you can also use Tajin instead of salt to rim the glass
Perfect! The only thing I changed is that I replaced the two cups a straw.
Tastes great!
THANK YOU AMY YOU’RE AWESOME! Please make more videos! 🙏❤️
You just made my day!!! Thanks!
Sounds like Amy did a lot of rehearsing before the final taping lol. Happy cinco de mayo
This is what I was thinking 😂😂😂
By far the best margarita I’ve ever had, tops any Mexican restaurant also 😭😭
Trying this tomorrow for taco Tuesday 😋
I thought the sound of your blender was creating music lmao
Same lol I was like " well damn I gotta buy this for my mom " 😂

I love this can't wait to try my new blender lol ❤️❤️❤️🙋🏾♀️🙋🏾♀️🙋🏾♀️
Great margarita
Just made these and they are delicious! Taste very close to the margaritas made at my local Mexican spot.
These are wonderful. So are the mango margaritas

Blood orange would be delicious! Next time I make this I will try it (which will probably be this upcoming weekend LOL)
AmyLearnsToCook Ahaha! I won't judge!
I try ur recipes and love it
A cup of tequila is wild lol awesome!
Good job...👍😊😊😊
Thanks!
Nice recipe, thanks! I always use Limeade. Now I now how to make a real one!👨🍳
Oh Limeade is a good option because it is quick and easy! Thanks for watching!
Super 😍
I dont particularly like salt on my margarita but it does help retain water. So I guess it helps hydrate...
Great recipe 👌
The best ❤️😘
TY AMY!!! 😊🦎🌺🌴💖👌
Hey don't make my mouth water 😅 that looks amazing 🤩
Salt is one of the worst things for you, salt and sugar both lol.
This lady knows how to make a killer margarita !
Alcohol isn't that good for you either. But it's necessary for this drink. But you can omit it and just make a virgin margarita or a smoothie. I think the salt and sugar are important.
Ive been wanting to make this frozen margarita. What is 1to1 ratios?
If you want sweetness, you can make a simple syrup. 1 cup of hot/boiling water and one cup granulated sugar. Stir until dissolved. Chill the syrup. Any unused syrup will store for up to a week in the fridge.
It's for my mom
Awesome
I always wanted to try one,but mom said its not for kids
You could make one without the liquor. Strawberries, ice, lime juice, simple syrup it would be tasty.
AmyLearnsToCook;Ok Thank you Chief Amy
Happy Cinco de Mayo!!
Cool👍👍👍
Amy its obvious you had some of dem fancy margaritas before starting this video. Lmao
Yep! LOL!
Amy how much sugar and water do I need?
simple syrup is usually 1:1 ratio. So one cup of granulated sugar and one cup of very hot/boiling water. Stir until its all dissolved and let it cool down. I think you can keep unused syrup in your fridge for up to a week.

Can you just add regular dry sugar??

Eric Learns to Cook thanks 🙏

It was delicious! I can't wait for a redo this weekend. I need to throw in some tableside guacamole and chips along with it LOL! Thanks for watching!
What does cinco de Mayo means ? Does anyone know why is it a holiday in USA when it’s actually a Mexican Holiday ?
I think we just want an excuse to eat Mexican food and get drunk. I think a lot of people think it has to do with Mexico's independence or something, rather than the anniversary of the Battle of Puebla. If anyone can defeat Napoleon III, then they deserve a holiday!!!
mmmmmmmmm delicious
Always use the best and your favorite 100% pure Agave Silver/Plata Tequila that you can. Life is to short to drink cheap Tequila.
Just for the record, the Margarita was not a Mexican drink. It was invented in the late 40’s but a Bartender in Texas for a lady who asked for something different.
But you don't get the power like you do from the vitamix
I cant ad taquilla im muslim, any substitute?
You can make it without the alcohol.
Damn I want to get on her level 🤷🏾♂️
Amy, could I make it with white rum ?. Eric, quit drinking it LOL :P :D
Sure you can, but then it's called a daiquiri. Me? never. LOL. Thanks for watching.
@@EricLearnstoCook Yer crazy Eric, but don't change LOL :P :D
hi amy
amy, what can i substitute for triple sec?
does it have to be orange flavor liquor?
is there any other flavors that might be good?

4More days till 5 de mayo
YAY! Only 2 days now!
Damn a whole cup lol
I spy a SMEG mixer!
I tried to sneak it in there...LOL!
Hi Amy not sure if you have seen them but there is a really nice tea kettle and toaster available that matches it.
I'm sorry we're experiencing technical difficulties right now... . LOL!!!
@@EricLearnstoCook Yer crazy man LOL :P :D :-) . Yo Amy , time for you to spend more of Eric's cash :P :D
Quater cup 2oz????? Isn't a quater cup 4oz?
Hopefully you have googled that by now and figured it out. I cup is 8 oz or 16 tablespoons. So a 1/4 would be 2 right?
No a quarter of a cup is 2 ounces. A quarter of a pint is 4 ounces.
Does it matter? Adjust to your liking
Use Agave syrup. Not simple syrup.
Hi Amy
Hi Zane!
Anyone else drunk while watching this other than me and Amy?
You can tell this woman is drunk as hell, and that is why I trust her.
Amy needs to learn haw to post recipes in the description section
Thanks for watching! Recipes are on my website: www.amylearnstocook.com/
They look yummy, but I don't drink. I guess I could make them without the booze..😊😊💕💕
They would be delicious even without the liquor. Nice and refreshing!
Went from Meghan markle to here! I’m thirsty now 😂😂😂😂
