Today I received the BT-S2 Pro helmet intercom. I want to use it in conjunction with my FX8 intercom and M5S PRO GPS. Can directions from GPS be heard on both intercoms?
Hi, did you test using it with normal gloves? Is the screen resistive or capacitive. Do you need special gloves? Also, the extra screws in the bag, are those security screws or regular Phillips screws?
Nice review, thank you. Do you think it's possible to feed the gps by a USB-cable instead of the the charging unit enclosed? I've already installed a USB-charger on the bike which I prefer tu use.
Hello Mr. Keith, How do I use the FM radio app feature on this GPS? Do I need to have Bluetooth 5.0 earbuds? If so, can you recommend simple low cost earbuds for use with any style/brand helmet? Thanks!
Stuart, have you figured out how to load routes and/tracks to this unit? I have been using Garmin Basecamp to export the files to it. However I cannot find the files while using the GPS. I hoping you have. Please reply either way. Safe travels.
Hi, when the sat Nav is not in the mounting case, is the case open to the rain. Or does the whole thing have to be removed when not needed, cheers in advance.
Hi, depends on what apps you use, the one it comes with is fully offline so no connection needed. I also use Tom Tom which is offline but can get real-time traffic if connect to data.

Thanks very much for the reply and info! I've been using Sygic paid lifetime subscription on my double din android stereo in my truck for 4 years and it is very very good once you get the hang of it and the updates are extremely quick. A new divided highway with roundabouts opened up a few years ago in my home town and it was updated just days after opening whereas Garmin was over a year .... garmin was 2 updates before it showed the new highway and I think 4 updates and 4 years before it had the roundabouts/exits! Sygic isn't the most intuitive app but like I said, once I got used to it I left garmin in the dust LoL...
@@r6stu Thanks. I wish Fodsports would provide more information & tutorials about the use & operation of the GPS. There is a music function (icon) on my GPS home screen and there is one oem song in there that plays well. I was wondering how to put more songs in there.
@@r6stu I think Fodsports should have far more videos and tutorials available . It's very frustrating to not be able to find out how to do something that the unit is supposed to be capable of doing. There are many videos and tutorials available for Garmin & TomTom GPS units and their owner's manuals are far more inclusive and informative. I can't understand why Fodsorts has not been more competitive when it comes to customer and technical support.

Hi, it is a resistive screen, so its not 100% perfect, but I have tested it with leather gloves, and it dose respond.

Yes you can, but it means removing the waterproof cover on the left side of the GPS unit. You can access it ok still in the mount.

Hi, I've not used this feature yet. I'll take a look later for you.
Three (3) years later. I've never heard of the Fodsport. I'm wondering if this unit is still a worthy option?
They still sell them and I haven't seen anyone who has had issues with them, so possible? I'm thinking of getting one myself.
Did the mounting on the paneuropean went well ? this is what i just bought it for . grtz Mark
Yea, not too bad ill grab some pics. I got a ram ball and mounted to top. Could do with an extension as my mra screen low.

Hi, not tried that way, with Tom Tom you can use the my tomntom app to make routes. They then sync automatically when connected to a network.
Hi, when the sat Nav is not in the mounting case, is the case open to the rain. Or does the whole thing have to be removed when not needed, cheers in advance.
Its easy and quickey to remove with the housing. The sat nav is screwed into the unit with a small spring loaded flat head screw on the rear.
Do you need to have internet connection for it to be a sat nav to give you directions? I'm thinking of buying for a honda msx

Yes 5" Used it the other week for the 1st time and worked well, even though the screen is not very bright, I had no issues in the sunlight seeing it
