@@GrayBoardGamer The game looks fun and I have it on my wish list. I wish older games like HeroQuest had some females in it like this one does, I had to make my own female paladin and monk (made special abilities for them). I also love the classes that they chose, but why are there no other races? (like dwarves or elves) to mix things up? Could have used a male character in the expansion but I'll probably still get both. Thanks for the upload!
I’m late to comment but I got mine today and they recently updated it and I hadn’t realized so all your cards are slightly different than newer boxes they sell. They added more to the archers heroic feat and numerous tweakings through the decks and bosses. What made me notice is your heroic skill/feat is tan and in the new versions they make it blue to identify better. It was really bugging me thinking I got a weird box lol!
The archer is a very tough pick for the freezing yeti's cave, where time spend patiently aiming with the eagle eye to get those much needed heroic dice causes severe cold burns. It's a very tough pick indeed! will be very amazed if you manage to survive to the end with this challenge!
Yes! After I started the playthrough, I quickly noticed how my Heroic Ability was more of a handicap than a helpful ability in the Yeti's Cave. This is why I like the random selection, I would never pick that combo purposely, so it forces me to play combinations I would not choose.
Love this game and its expansion, but haven't had time to play lately so I've been looking for playthroughs. Thanks for scratching my itch until I can get back into my campaign myself 😊
21:06 You could have combined 2 of the 3 remaining strength dice to get a heroic one and use the heroic dice to activate your ability to prevent one wound.
Nice dungeon run... when you had those three unused yellow dice vs. the ooze? (at the end of level 1), could you not have made a heroic die and used it as a purple/agility die to prevent a wound? The Android version of the game lets me do that
Agreed. She is the only one I have used that has gotten close to beating a boss. We found that it is much "easier" to win if you play to characters that compliment each other in regards to starting dice colors. (Which is kinda a duh statement, but yeah. :) )
playing a warrior and upon taking a wound. You store a black dice up to two for each wound suffered. Next round upon using the one dice as your heroic feat. Do you loose that black dice after using it ? Or does it stay with you as part of your heroic feat continually?
Yes. At level one, in a solo game, you can only have 2 skills, but you can swap a skill out by discarding one you already have to replace it with a new one (presumably better or more useful at the time).
Gray Board Gamer My mistake, I didn't realize at first that the starting skill doesn't count towards your limit. Thanks for the play through, made me order the game.
It's seriously an amazing game. I knew nothing about it when I got it. Just browsing my local game store and thought it would be cool to give a solo ttrpg a try. I was not at all in the slightest disappointed
This is so much better than the other playthroughs for this. Thank you for actually explaining everything as you walk through it.
Nice work on this play through. Found it really helpful and informative!
Really enjoying your play through. I want to order this game. Thank you
I like the option of two different ways to get through a trap. Good replayability. I think you convinced me to get this.
I like getting to choose the option too :-)

G'Day, Mate! Well done & good on ya! Can you simply roll all the dice in your "pool" & assign them accordingly?🍺🥩🇦🇺🦈
Loved your play through. +1 subscriber!
The explanation was clear and well done, thank you for your time ^_^

Yes, I could have. Nice catch.
Just to let you know, One Deck Dungeon is now available digitally on android and maybe ios!
Yep, it's on iOS too!
When I spend time, I always keep the cards face down so I don't try to meta game by thinking of what I haven't seen yet.
That's a good suggestion, and I will do that in my future playthroughs :-)
do that.
20:57 You could combine your strenght dices to make an agility dice (black dice can what you want) and use it to prevent one wound.
You can't combine them. You can only use the lesser number of the 2 dice exchanged for the heroic die
Is it just me or it looks easier playing 2p rather than solo? Nice channel, I just got ODD FOS.
love ODD. still looking for my ultimate dice tray.
Same lol I love his

I think the archer gives you the easiest time when you start playing the game solo.
She looked like the most balanced starting character.

You lose it unfortunately.
Ty for your help with this question :).
14:02 is it only can keep 2 skill before you level up?
Yes. At level one, in a solo game, you can only have 2 skills, but you can swap a skill out by discarding one you already have to replace it with a new one (presumably better or more useful at the time).
Yes but your heroic feat doesn't count in your total number of skills aquired.
How do you have 3 skills at level one, shouldn't you be limited to 2 until you level up?
You are correct, two skills at level one. Can you please provide me with a time stamp? I would like to review the error.

Awesome! Hope you enjoy it. Let me know what you think of it after a few sessions.

Does this game have only female characters?
Yes, female characters only.
Hmmm, that's a little weird...
It has zero impact on the play, but I thought the same thing as you.
Mitchell Kupietz
Yes, I know. It doesn't bother me but I wanted to know if there was any reason for it. :)
