    Heya, developer of the game here! Thanks for playing! To answer one of your questions: hero progression checklists are in beta now, and will be coming to Early Access soon. We're also planning to add a quest/campaign mode.

      pro tip: watch series on kaldrostream. Me and my gf have been using them for watching a lot of movies during the lockdown.

      I highly recommend you to check out the physical cardgame version, it's a ton of fun! Also, the standalone expansions just came out from Kickstarter and probably hits retail soon. =)

    backseat gaming on youtube not so fun and effective as in a live stream, but you could have won that last fight against the shade without loosing damage. You could have added the pink 2 to the shield box, and converted the other 4 dice in 2 heroic 2's to free up the heroic 5 for the leftover blue box.

    Absolutely love this physical game. I've played dozens of games and keep coming back for more.
    It's my favorite solo game...though the game called Friday is pretty close. The only thing I don't like about One Deck, is that sometimes it takes a bit more time than I'd like. I've had many games last longer than an hour.

    that final encounter killed me because he could've converted some die and not taken any damage

    Can you PAUSE and save, exit and resume later OR does this game require you to finish the dungeon without saving?

    Why did you convert any dice against the Ice Elemental? You had two one pip black dice-you just needed to use them!

    nice that the puzzles are so self contained, but it does hurt when I can be certain you've made a mistake. Its a bit deceptive the difficulty of seeing the right dice placement. Feels a bit more like an are you feeling stupid check than a puzzle.

    Quill18, seeing as you enjoy ascii games like dwarf fortress/Cataclysm DDA you might wanna look at Warsim, it's a kingdom management one that looks pretty cool. (The game play is more like reigns meets EU/Risk with some Civ like city upgrading from what I could tell though)

    At that last figt, couldnt you convert the two 2 STR rolls into a wild die and use that with the 2 INT to use on the 4 INT enemy spot?

    • @Futuristic271
      @Futuristic271 6 років тому

      Waldo de la Calzada only one die per slot unless its a rectangle one

    • @johnarnold6949
      @johnarnold6949 6 років тому

      Correct, but it could have been used for Shimmerblast, since you can use heroic dice for skills. But Guzumi above had a better play!

    Is it just me, or does the paladin look a lot like Seelah from Pathfinder? Only the cloak seems significantly different (white instead of dark red).

    • @GrandElemental
      @GrandElemental 6 років тому

      Since the creators of this game have drawn a lot of inspiration from Pathfinder Adventure Cardgame, which includes Seelah too, it's highly probable. =)

    I almost backed the Kickstarter for this, but having never played the physical game, I decided not to. It seems like a lighter game then what I prefer.

    I have the physical game and it's really good fun in a very small box. Not sure it's a PC game but this is perfect for a phone or tablet.

    The dice rolling part is what kills the game for me. You roll really badly way too frequently. This has gone better than the other full playthrough I watched where 1's were absurdly plentiful. Disappointing that two of the board game converts that have come out have had this issue (Dresden Files being the other).

    • @johnarnold6949
      @johnarnold6949 6 років тому +1

      That's what skills are for! Many of them help mitigate bad die rolls quite a bit.

    • @JeanOfmArc
      @JeanOfmArc 6 років тому +1

      Yes, dice mitigation skills are essential in this game.

    • @scottsmartky
      @scottsmartky 6 років тому

      Oh, I agree that dice mitigation skills are necessary, but you shouldn't be rolling 1's 40% of the time which I've seen way too often. Plus, I hate the very lame Boggle-style dice rolling that the game has. Let me chuck the dice like you can in Pathfinder or even Children of the Zodiarcs. If I chucked them and got horrible dice rolls, at least it isn't as helpless a feeling as this Boggle-style barely roll 3 die faces on each dice.
