- I love this all natural, long-lasting lip balm!! I developed this recipe last year and am super pleased with how easy it is to make. It feels so smooth and moisturizing! Check out this short video to learn how I make lip balms so you can try them for yourself! Recipe down below :)

My more detailed lip balm video with round tubes:
• EASY NATURAL DIY LIP B...
This lip balm recipe makes about 15 tubes (4.25 grams each):
Solids:
22 g beeswax
8 g cocoa butter
Butter consistency:
12 g coconut oil
7 g shea butter
Liquid:
10 g castor oil
5 g hempseed oil
3 g olive oil
The other good stuff:
About 2-2.5 g flavor/essential oils
0.5 g vitamin E
Optional- a little aloe extract
See photo in the video for some flavor ideas! I use DoTerra essential oils even though they're more expensive because they are high quality and the flavor combos I have are safe for ingestion.

I know the popular thing is include lavender in topical items, BUT lavender increases possibility of skin burn in sunshine. NOT a good idea IMO.
That is actually said of any essential oil. I use my lip balms and am in the sun and just take proper precaution to not have too much direct sun exposure. To each their own ;)

I'm glad you liked it! This is the most affordable option I've found. Normally I'd buy from bulkapothecary.com but couldn't find clear oval tubes when I last looked.

Saro, lavender and lime spearmint are some of my fav. My clients like them as well but also root beer, lavender orange and cotton Candy a lot

If I could find that flavor, yes! I prefer essential oils, but the sky is the limit with flavors :)
