Where do you get the double boiler? I’m unsure of what is the correct one for lip balm making

Have you ever experienced graininess in your lip balm? If I want to add a liquid oil, can I replace a portion of the shea or would it be better a portion of the coconut oil?

It would be your shea butter , shea is known to get grainy is over heated or not cooled properly

Thank you for sharing . I had stop puting Shea butter in my lip balm because I find it to be grainy have you ever had that experance

Shea butter is tricky to work with when heating , I have had lots of learning curves working with it to prevent grainy textures

Please help me I like your recipe and I use it. But every time I use the cocoa butter all I smell is chocolate from that butter and I don’t smell the fragrance oil that I use. I don’t want to waste any of my ingredients or oils as it is not cheep but help me fix the problem thanks.

I use deodorized coco butter that is the only way to get away from the coco smell
