This is one of your best episodes in a long time. Do more of these please, it's great to hear about hidden gems rather than seeing the same old watches week after week.
I agree. Was kinda excited for the new Ingenieur, when I saw they demanded 13k for it I was shocked. On the other hand I bought a santos carree from the nineties for less than a third of that.
@@adam_kano yes I agree. But with the Ingenieur the crazy thing is that you can nearly the same movement in some riviera variations for 25% of the price. I looked at the laureato some months ago and went with a nearly new defy skyline instead, for half the money.
I have a Longines Master Collection Moonphase. It's an incredible watch and well worth the money. The other Longines chrono you show is awesome as well. That Chopard is gorgeous; I like the clean look.
It’s a lovely watch but be aware no matter what Tudor says it patinas to a yellowish tinge quite quickly. I’ve had mine kept in a watch box and only worn couple of times but I do wish it would have held it’s bright silver colour for longer, it really does stand out against stainless steel when next to each other.
Even though the patina of my bronze Black Bay is absolutely stunning, I can't stop wearing the BB 925 with its subdued beauty. In the northern California climate, my 925 has the beautiful patina of a pre 1964 US Quarter lol but the taupe dial seems to mesh with everything I wear, and the size shape and quality seem to be perfect. My only gripe is the annoying ticking if I sleep with my hand under the pillow.
I’ve had my 925 for about 8 months and it hasn’t begun to yellow yet. I’m not sure what the variable is there, although I am careful to give it a little wipe down every now and then. One of my favorites, especially for the price.
I've been wondering for years why Watchfinder mostly reviews/vlogs about new watches when from 65% to 80% of their stock (when I've checked) is in their Discontinued Watches category. This video advances Watchfinder's good fortunes more than almost any. I don't know if they built their viewership for years (with new watches that tend to get more views than vintage) and are now starting to monetize their channel, but I'm glad they are if they are. It just makes sense.
The look in Thomas face with the "piece de résistance" italian referral. I love that Jaeger Le-Coultre Polaris, but a "40 min" power reserve? Give me a break. Ulysse Nardin is my "grail watch brand", buy not being able to afford a "El Toro", makes a simplier model enticing. Marvelous review as always. Cheers to all your followers.
Tom would stick a Fix O Flex on the Audemars Piguet, I think it would look great!! Someone should just do it without caring, a hero maybe. You two are still so entertaining, thanks.
How long have you had it? How has the patina been on the silver?? Supposedly the alloy Tudor made “won’t patina” but I’ve heard otherwise from other owners of the watch.
Have had it a couple of years. Has developed patina in between the lugs but I wear it with a fitted vanguard rubber strap anyway so you can’t see that anyway. The sheen of the silver is lovely as is the grey dial
Really like that first Longines - great value. The commentary is at the level of one of those shopping channels that my mum watches.... 🙂 QVC would definitely give you both a job 😂
One thing I've noticed - all those "Diamond District" (New York) watch flippers, whose YT shorts were everywhere - have suddenly just disappeared, at least from my YT algorithm. Not watching any less watch videos or shorts, yet the flippers are gone. It seemed to happen pretty much the day it was revealed that Rolex dealers actually now have stock of certain models - even discounts! That's gonna kill off a lot of flippers.
I found the Tudor black bay 58 a little small on my wrist. The Tudor watch I did like was the limited edition black ceramic as that's a 41mm case compared to the BB58 39MM
casio ef-308l from outback trading for £40. i have had one for about 18 years and it's great. £2 for ten batteries and i haven't used them all yet. and you get three sub dials for day, date, and 24hr function.
I really enjoyed this infomercial. It's great to see what is available at your shop / retail empire. I think all the watches have reached fair value, and I would be happy to receive any of them as a gift. (That's a hint!)
This video is entertaining. One of the reasons for this is the fact that the price points of these "bargain basement" watches are totally taking the piss.
If I wasn't broke and soon to be unemployed; I'd buy that Tudor BB Fifty Eight 925 in a heartbeat. I've always wanted that watch. This is what I love about watching these kind of videos. I get to pretend I have money and live the life of the 1% for 20 min and 58 sec.
Think of a Chopard St. Moritz 8379, Frederic Piguet Caliber 1150, can get around 3,000 to 3,500 Euros without metal bracelet Or, maybe a Blancpain 5395, Frederic Piguet Caliber as well, when looking out around 8,000 Euros Or, maybe a Piaget 15958, around 7,000 Euros
Looking at that BB 58 925 is quite unique. Wonder if anyone ask their AD to change it to the steel bracelet from a blue/black dial model. Pair it with the OP Tiffany Blue and you have the perfect unicorn sports + dress watch combo.
You know what destroys all of these "Bargains"? ...NOMOS. You get an 8mm thick watch, 38mm in diam, 200M WR!!, finishing as good as all those mentioned, and $4000 out-the-door.
Does the first Longines have the same movement as the Speedmaster Day-Date?? I have really interested in that watch, and both are surprisingly similar. The only difference is that the Longines add a Moonfase complication...
I'm seriously not sure if you two helped sell these watches, but this was the funniest episode I've heard in a long time...well done😂
Yes, Tom's acting skills are improving, I see a Bafta award in your future Tom.
Hello! There’s got to be some new good footage on the Longines Master Collections. Pictures all around are terrible. Please consider
This is one of your best episodes in a long time. Do more of these please, it's great to hear about hidden gems rather than seeing the same old watches week after week.
"So, apparently these Rolex people have a day date type of thing, let's see if it's any good and will anyone buy it."
0:30 "Stock we cant shift" 🤣 THIS is why I am watching you. This is genuine and therefor good content.
Used watches from 90s - 2000s can still be had at a good price. Think older Omega, iwc etc.... current new prices are just ridiculous
I agree. Was kinda excited for the new Ingenieur, when I saw they demanded 13k for it I was shocked. On the other hand I bought a santos carree from the nineties for less than a third of that.
@@taaaaaaaazzzzzzsame with the gp Laureato, couple years ago brand new around 9-10k, now they’re asking 12k+.
@@adam_kano yes I agree. But with the Ingenieur the crazy thing is that you can nearly the same movement in some riviera variations for 25% of the price. I looked at the laureato some months ago and went with a nearly new defy skyline instead, for half the money.
The Chopard is gone! I went to the website to check it out, but it was already gone. Good job, Andrew and Tom!
I have a Longines Master Collection Moonphase. It's an incredible watch and well worth the money. The other Longines chrono you show is awesome as well.
That Chopard is gorgeous; I like the clean look.
The Tudor 58 is such an aesthetically pleasing watch. Nice to see the prices have come down (and they weren’t that high to begin with).
My swig of wine came out of my nose on the Breguet segment. Great job both of you!
I genuinely think the 925 will be a future classic when not many people buy it and it gets cut from the line with little fanfare.
That AP is truly "stealth wealth" in that you wouldn't want to be seen in public with it.
😂😂😂
Or 10 watches with the most depreciation... and that Longine Chronometer is spectacular.
That is the only Tudor I am interested in. The sterling silver one. That satin finish is epic

I think getting a bund strap to prevent skin contact can prevent yellowing
I really enjoyed your take on that AP. Tell us about more off beat things watch companies have made!
Agreed

I don't know how either of you managed to keep a straight face during this. The outtakes could be one of your most popular videos.
Tom almost choking on his water made tea come out of my nose! 😂
this was really funny, i dont think i can afford any of them but i loved this episode
Quite enjoyed this! A little more atypical and not just the usual subjects on a top 10 list.
Longines moon phase chronograph... Critical for those nighttime racing events.
That Longines is a beauty
Which one? Or maybe both?🤔
@@victorcoster1011both are! I have the second one and want the first one
Andrew just wanted to make this video so he could say "coq" on youtube. And I'm grateful that he did.
The look in Thomas face with the "piece de résistance" italian referral.

No idea why they said 40 minutes. Polaris has a 60 hour reserve!
That AP at the end is a Must buy for the money
That’s how I see it!
Very interested in the BB58 silver. Had one and sold it and regret it. I might call for a chat about it because this is a seriously good price.
The Breguet Tradition models are insanely good value.
"muff diving mermaids" might have a different meaning here in the States from the UK. Either way that was hilarious
It'll be the same.
Yeah. Here in the states they would have an Only Fans.
Oh no he meant it exactly that way 😅😅😅
Love that you are looking at the resale market.. it is a fun and interesting place.
You two must be embracing the holiday cheer already... so many giggles 😅
Clive and Tom always bring it. More detailed size info like thickness and lug to lug on the website would be real horrorshow.
Clive? You mean Andrew, mate?
@@jbyrne4531 I think he changed his name to Clive. Yeah Clive Morgan sounds way better.
how I like when Tom starts metaphorically positively ranting about a specific watch:')
Brilliant, love the honesty. Says a lot about you guys, positively!
It always amazes me how much beauty and precision are added to the parts of amzwatch's watch 99% of people will never see.

Proper LOL moments in this vid! Good job, guys.

Great video. I have the BB 925. Wonderful watch and great vfm at that price.
How long have you had it? How has the patina been on the silver?? Supposedly the alloy Tudor made “won’t patina” but I’ve heard otherwise from other owners of the watch.
I love silver platina but if you don't like it you could get it plated in rhodium
Have had it a couple of years. Has developed patina in between the lugs but I wear it with a fitted vanguard rubber strap anyway so you can’t see that anyway. The sheen of the silver is lovely as is the grey dial
Belly laughing listening to this in my car.
Well done lads.👍🏼☺️
That Chopard is lovely and straight in my top 5 most wanted dress watches.
I am loving that Ulysse Nardin
Really like that first Longines - great value. The commentary is at the level of one of those shopping channels that my mum watches.... 🙂 QVC would definitely give you both a job 😂
Great to see some different watches. You should do this more.
PS. I actually like the AP 😮
I laughed really hard. Might have even peed in my pants a bit! 😅

10 years ago I could walk into an AD and get any Rolex model except for the Daytona. I could get a Sub for 5700. It goes both ways, be patient.
Keep it coming, gents. Let the snark flow through you and make us all stronger.
A case of sinner's mouth speaks the truth. "Stock difficult to shift"
LOL
Lmao @ Tom “because they’ve been hanging around” 🤣

lol they actually sold that Breguet this time
Finally a watch channel that knows how to correctly pronounce Longines
But not correctly pronounce Ulysse Nardin
The L. U. CHOPARD's simplicity takes me back to the sixties when I was given an ORIS wristwatch on my Confirmation.
I bet they don't even read the comments now they have 1miil subs.
But I haven't laughed so much in a while 😂😅❤

Boy those prices didn't last long. I would love a new one of these!
Best episode yet, not sure how the script got approved but whoever approved it is a champion.
The YT police algos don't understand the lingo or catch the accent. Nothing wrong with saying 'cawwks'
Tom speaks truth. Andrew speaks with Fork tongue😂
Longines Legend Diver and the Oris Divers Sixty-Five are both under 3000 and absoluetly reliable.
That chopard 🔥🔥
I've had a lot of fun.... And that's it. Because money .... I've got none 😅
That zenith was stunning
Dude, this one was hilarious 😂!
Audemars Piguet does not deserve to be in the holy trinity. Kick them out. Let's have JLC or Breguet in there
Garage sale. That Zenith is nice tho.
This video is entertaining. One of the reasons for this is the fact that the price points of these "bargain basement" watches are totally taking the piss.
That Breguet 7027 sure is nice.
Still going down....and I'd like a Tudor on the cheap.
The micro rotors of the calib. 96 generate a very awkward, loud and annoying noise. This is a "more than unexpected" surprise in this price range...
The tudor chronograph is spicy 🥵
Delicious ... what now? Auto subtitles / closed captioning didn't even pick that one up.

Well, this was delightful.
The Tudor BB 925 is a lovely watch 👍 Au
I'm not going to lie, I'd prefer a breguet over a Rolex any day. But damn that breguet looks terrible.
I would take the Breguet over a Daytona any day! I think the Tudor 925 is losing value because of the strange tarnish that sometimes forms on them.
When you say ‘you would take’……….😂
I’m assuming one could buy the Breguet, so what are you waiting for??!!
When I say I would buy the Daytona over the Breguet…….. I mean it 😂
