Teddy is an absolute class act. His brand manufacturer / factory insight mini documentaries, his depth and breadth of knowledge in horology, and his research into every watch he discusses at the table, are simply exquisite. This is a great collaboration.
@FightingMango Perhaps. I mean, I get what you're referring to - one is a true humble connoisseur, and the other is a brash bulldozer who'll slap a red strap on anything. Then again, that's the personality we are given, but as we know of all celebrity, they aren't always the character the play in the media and public fora. Moreover, it may be that O'Leary is as enamoured by Teddy as the rest of us are and therein bank rolling his operation, which in turn brings more Teddy content for our viewing. If the price to pay is the odd unrealistic and pointless 1%er 30k watch collection bullshido bonanza for red strap shenanigans, then I'll gladly skip past those to watch the rest of Teddy's best work. I liken O'Leary's persona to that of the rich kid who builds the world standard skatepark in his back yard so that the cool local skaters congregate there and film their RedBull skate park movies, and O'Leary can then look out the kitchen window and tell his parents that he has friends and therefore must be one of the cool kids too.
Teddy is the best, love this dude and his enthusiasm towards watches. Learned a lot from him tbh. My 3 watch collection: 1. CW Twelve 2. Raymond Weil Millesime 3. Citizen Chronomaster
My two favorite watch experts in the same video - great seeing Teddy and Andrew (and of course Tom) in a great discussion. Mainly because I am a Longines fan, I have to throw my vote to Teddy. Nice selections all, and Happy New Year!
My main problem with Christopher Ward, as with other small/micro brands, is the lack of longevity on support. Recently, when I wanted to buy extra links for my C60 Trident diver, I was told that it is out of production. Conversely, when my 1974 Seiko 6149 needed repairs, my watchmaker could source everything OEM. Ditto when my 1990 TAG Heuer 2000 needed a complete overhaul, from movement to bezel. Again, no problem. As I never sell my watches, I avoid micro brands.
I agree Longines is very under appreciated. I was lucky enough to visit their museum in St. Imer just a few weeks ago and it was a truly wonderful visit.
My current 3 watch collection is: Diver - Tudor BB58 Daily - Hamilton Khaki Field auto Chrono - Seiko Speedtimer My grail collection is: Diver - Tudor BB58 Daily - Omega Aqua Terra Chrono - Tag Carrera Glass Box
Teddy is well loved and respected for a reason. Great knowledge across the watch board from budget to high end. Well spoken and polite, not an ounce of snobbery, and he will cater to all types regardless of his own tastes. Great colab guys My 3 watches for 5K, off the top of my head 1. Longines spirit zulu time 2. Hamilton Murph 42mm 3. Christopher Ward 12 Saving just enough to get a G shock beater too
I’ve had the Traska GMT for a year now and it’s phenomenal. I did somehow manage to get a slight indent on the dial, but no scratches otherwise. I’m even thinking of buying a second one as a backup
Teddys collection! 💯 Teddy you are a class act, such a gentleman, so well spoken along with your knowledge makes you a pure joy to watch!! What a cool collaboration!
Well, hard to choose between you guys and to stay within the budget... So, off-budget: 1- sport: the Nivada Grenchen 2- dress: the Longines 3- Wild: the spaceship! My personnal choice would be: 1- Sporty (and dressy): Tudor BB54 2- Dressy: Baltic MR01 3- Wild: Radcliffe Le Dôme Purple
To my own surprise I'd go 100% with Teddy here - great choices! For myself, at this price point I'd only buy 1 piece which would be a Cartier Tank XL 🧡 But if I had to split, it would be Rado Captain Cook bronze/red, a Frederic Constant Carré and a Hamilton PSR. Cheers!
I absolutely LOVE the Tudor 1926! The problem is, I like 3 of them! I could not make up my mind. So, I decided to get the Seamaster Planet Ocean. I’ve always loved that watch too, and I already have the Seamaster 300M, so it made deciding easier. Tudor will definitely get my money at some point…they just need to wait while I continue to decide. 😂 Happy New Year fellas! I really like this video and listening to each of your collections concepts. Continued success!
What a great collaboration- My 3 would be Longines Hydroconquest GMT ( Sports ) , Dufrane Waterloo ( Dress ) , Baltic MR01 Gold PVD ( wild card ) and a couple grand in the bank for the next watch
I believe that Teddy had the best collection. He had me at Sinn but then added the Longines! Any competition was over. Also, how much knowledge can one person have on watches? I have never heard Teddy be stumped on the history of a watch.
I love watches that can be molded to fit just about any scenario and look great. For the 3 watch collection for $10000, I decided on Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 41mm black horizontal teak dial, 90s Quartz Omega Seamaster Diver 300m blue wave dial 41m, and Dan Henry 1962 mecaquartz chronograph 39mm black ("Evil Panda") dial. (All are both dressy and sporty, looks great on any strap as well as the bracelets included with the Omegas. No need for another watch but my Grail (was the Aqua Terra) is now the Vacheron Constantin Over Seas Blue dial white Gold on that best in the business bracelet 🤤
I love the Christopher Ward sport watch, the blue dial pops, and the raised numerals on the bezel are cool. the Longine Heritage Classic Sector is on my list for a dress watch because it's so clean. I also bought a Traska Freediver Mint Green and Teddy is right this watch is tough as hell yet still very clean.
Love this so much! Teddy was the sole reason I even got into watches as much as I have. Very fun video and great collaboration! Love you all for what you also do Andrew + Tom!!
Fun. Teddy’s picks for me. I love Sinn, difficult to fault Longines amazing brand, and traska is a remarkable beater GMT. I also liked Tom’s Nivada chrono. That thing is really gorgeous. I thought Roger smith wore an explorer? Nice to know he’s expanded his collection to some other cool watches
Sporty: Vero Open Water Broadway LE - as tooly as it gets and as local as I can hope Dress: Dufrane Waterloo Mechanical in rose gold and hammered copper - unique and classic are not limited to Swiss brands Wildcard: Magrette Leoncino Creation - not quite as over-the-top as a fully engraved watch, but enough of the beauty to make nearly anyone smile
Not a dig at the premise of the video because it's all in fun, but I've always had an issue with people enforcing certain categories for a collection, regardless of whether it actually fits into their lifestyle or not. For most people out there, any non huge, non G-shock style digital watch will suffice for the occasional wedding or funeral and won't get a second look. My picks - Garmin Instinct - Tudor Pelagos FXD - Serica 5303-3
Mine would be a £5K 2 watch collection, a vintage Steel/18K Gold Ebel 1911 El Primero Chronograph, on a green sharkskin band with deployment buckle, so sexy and sculpted and with that super cool movement and a modern Grand Seiko SBGX261, upgraded with a GS crocodile leather band and deployment buckle, IMO the best value watch of the moment. The GS as a daily wear and a super stylish under the radar vintage Ebel with a famous Zenith movement for special occasions. As it happens I'm lucky enough to have these two in my collection. Merry Christmas everyone. xx
My perfect 3 under 5k: 1.Longines Avigation Big Eye; 2.Mido Commander 1959 (the stainless steel with the silver dial); 3.Baltic Aquascaphe (steel/ blue gilt, the bronze,/blue dial or the bronze/brown - any of the 3) What can I say - I love the vintage look.
From my own collection... sporty - Certina DS Action Diver 38 dressy - Longines Record (blued hands, Romans) wild card - Swatch What If? ...with $2K-ish left over to add more.
I would pick: Sports: Seiko Prospex SRQ049J1 (because Seiko is life) Dress: Perseo Dante Alighieri Automatico (that STP 1-11 movement at 600€ is found money) I don’t really have a wild card because I’m kind of a plain guy
Yeah this guy Teddy is a real classy guy.I bought an Orient from his website.I like that he is an authorized dealer for so many brands.Makes you feel secure when u buy something from him not like these shady grey market guys
Thx for the content. Unfortunately not one watch you suggested would tempt me, but Vive le difference!!! It's always good to have some new suggestions.
£5K you want full sets, some sort of diver, chrono and dress. £2K you can get a Seamaster 300m 2nd hand, £1,200 a 37mm Monaco from a Tag Outlet (rare but I’ve seen) and a Cartier Chronoscaph £1,800
Hm, every collection had a watch I wasn’t really a fan of, so no winner for me. Guess it’s time to return the favor and also make a collection that isn’t perfect (but very much to my liking): - Sporty: Longines Hydroconquest GMT - Dress: Seiko Cocktail Time (I guess I have to pick a model… that’s tough… Manhattan (SRPB46)) - Mido Multifort TV Big Date Should be just under 5k EUR, so I guess it would be fine for this USD challenge (especially as there seems to be a tendency to exclude sales tax when naming prices, at least in the US; my prices include sales tax)
If I was given $5000, I’d make a 37 mm combo. For sport, the Longines Spirit 37 in black. For dress I’d go with Zodiac Olympios cream dial. For Woldcard I’d go Aquastar Deepstar II in steel grey.
Tom, Andrew, thank you very much for having me on. Great picks by both of you and happy holidays!
We love you Teddy! ❤❤❤
Great watch selections. Fun to see this segment. Keep on rocking in the free world.
My pick. Sport HAMILTON JAZZMASTER
PERFORMER AUTO CHRONO. Dress ZENITH ELITE ULTRA THIN wild SEIKO ARCTURA KINETIC CHRONOGRAPH 7L22 0AT0 £200 used.
Teddy is an absolute class act. His brand manufacturer / factory insight mini documentaries, his depth and breadth of knowledge in horology, and his research into every watch he discusses at the table, are simply exquisite. This is a great collaboration.
Well said. He was probably my first touch to the youtube watch world. Very educational. Easy to listen to. Class act
@@Reladan187 Same! 💪🏾😎👍🏾
Totally agree! Only think he should distance himself from Kevin O’Leary
@FightingMango Perhaps. I mean, I get what you're referring to - one is a true humble connoisseur, and the other is a brash bulldozer who'll slap a red strap on anything.

He's A Little Clock Toff!
Teddy is the best, love this dude and his enthusiasm towards watches. Learned a lot from him tbh.
My 3 watch collection: 1. CW Twelve 2. Raymond Weil Millesime 3. Citizen Chronomaster
Raymond Weil...only if you buy it second hand at 30% of retail price.
@@lachlanbrown409 you’d be better off going brand new in the sale or with a negotiable deal usually 20 - 25% off. IMO
My two favorite watch experts in the same video - great seeing Teddy and Andrew (and of course Tom) in a great discussion. Mainly because I am a Longines fan, I have to throw my vote to Teddy. Nice selections all, and Happy New Year!
teddy is the calm we all need, no dramas just facts with a little touch of charisma
My main problem with Christopher Ward, as with other small/micro brands, is the lack of longevity on support. Great collaboration!
Here’s what I’ve got:
- Omega Speedmaster Professional
- Seiko SKX009
- G-Shock GW-5000U
I agree Longines is very under appreciated. I was lucky enough to visit their museum in St. Imer just a few weeks ago and it was a truly wonderful visit.
Completely agree.
Great collaboration from two teams that I’ve learned a great deal from in the realm of watches. Many thanks!
Tom's eye roll at Andrew mentioning CW was hilarious. 16:42 😂
So glad to see you guys all together! You should do this more often. Thank you!
My current 3 watch collection is:
Diver - Tudor BB58
Daily - Hamilton Khaki Field auto
Chrono - Seiko Speedtimer
My grail collection is:
Diver - Tudor BB58
Daily - Omega Aqua Terra
Chrono - Tag Carrera Glass Box
Teddy is well loved and respected for a reason. Great knowledge across the watch board from budget to high end. Well spoken and polite, not an ounce of snobbery, and he will cater to all types regardless of his own tastes. Great colab guys
My 3 watches for 5K, off the top of my head
1. Longines spirit zulu time
2. Hamilton Murph 42mm
3. Christopher Ward 12
Saving just enough to get a G shock beater too
I have larger wrists so I bought the 1926 in 41mm. I chose the opaline dial with the blue hands and markers. It is a great watch.
All three collections were excellent. Great video and IMO a perfect three-way tie. Happy New Year. Andrew, Tom and Teddy.
I really like the simplicity and retro elegance of the Tudor 1926. It looks like a quality watch that is easy to read without being ostentatious.
I’ve had the Traska GMT for a year now and it’s phenomenal. I did somehow manage to get a slight indent on the dial, but no scratches otherwise. I’m even thinking of buying a second one as a backup
Man, how could you dent the dial ? Did you remove the sapphire glass ?
Teddy knew his wife was watching
I've only watched the beginning of the video so far.. are you referring to the bousom signing? Or is he being optimistic with pricing?
Sports - Longines hydroconquest GMT in blue
Dress/office - grand seiko STGF359 quartz snowflake
Wildcard - citizen garrison- titanium eco drive tool watch with a 25$ cloth strap - perfect beater watch.
Awesome show!!
Teddys collection! 💯 Teddy you are a class act, such a gentleman, so well spoken along with your knowledge makes you a pure joy to watch!! What a cool collaboration!
What a great trio. All great choices. Thanks guys!
Teddy is great, I like that he does a lot of videos about watches for smaller wrists, really pleased to see him on the channel 😁
We NEED more collab videos like this!!
The collab we didn't ask for, but we needed one
When I grew up in the 60s, Longines was THE watch to wear for the young-and-upcoming. My dad had to settle for an Omega as Longines was too expensive.
Well, hard to choose between you guys and to stay within the budget... So, off-budget:
1- sport: the Nivada Grenchen
2- dress: the Longines
3- Wild: the spaceship!
My personnal choice would be:
1- Sporty (and dressy): Tudor BB54
2- Dressy: Baltic MR01
3- Wild: Radcliffe Le Dôme Purple
The tiny fork had me in tears 🥲
To my own surprise I'd go 100% with Teddy here - great choices! For myself, at this price point I'd only buy 1 piece which would be a Cartier Tank XL 🧡 But if I had to split, it would be Rado Captain Cook bronze/red, a Frederic Constant Carré and a Hamilton PSR. Cheers!
Isn't carre and tank similar to idea?
I absolutely LOVE the Tudor 1926! The problem is, I like 3 of them! I could not make up my mind. So, I decided to get the Seamaster Planet Ocean. I’ve always loved that watch too, and I already have the Seamaster 300M, so it made deciding easier. Happy New Year fellas! I really like this video and listening to each of your collections concepts. Continued success!
The Sinn, Tudor and Traska FTW! Great picks all around!
Nice shoutout to the Traska GMT, probably one of the BEST value watches with a GMT complication on the market 👍🏻
What a great collaboration- My 3 would be Longines Hydroconquest GMT ( Sports ) , Dufrane Waterloo ( Dress ) , Baltic MR01 Gold PVD ( wild card ) and a couple grand in the bank for the next watch
Teddy played it safe but smashed it
First Brit Pearce and now Teddy, loving these colabs. Who's next? My money is on Adrian Barker.
Please be Nico
Anyone but Mr "Coffee and Overpriced Natos"!!
Nico or Barker, what a horrible choice. Raving idiot or wannabe snob - no thanks.
I believe that Teddy had the best collection. He had me at Sinn but then added the Longines! Any competition was over.
Also, how much knowledge can one person have on watches? I have never heard Teddy be stumped on the history of a watch.
Holy Christmas Collaboration Batman!
Great that you had Teddy on. Keep up the great work, all! 🎉
I love watches that can be molded to fit just about any scenario and look great. Sporty - Squale Sub-39 GMT Vintage Blue Bracelet
Wildcard - Terrasport I Chronograph with leather strap
My two favorite watch channels. Love the collab. You should do another one!
Great colab from three of my favorite content creators. Cheers!
While a fun thought exercise, how many of these picks do they own?
The Tudor 1926 was the best
I have the Sinn in the blue dial they showed and it is my go to these days. It just fits for everything
Phenomenal collab! Teddy takes the plaudits here though with Andrew in a close second.
Congrats! You managed to get Teddy to dress down for this segment!
Love the Collab. Teddy's Longines choice is the one I googled...
Won't be googling the spaceship anytime soon.
Teddy, as a German citizen, I approve the way you pronounce Tangete.
It was magnificent seeing all three of you attack this from your experiential vantage points. Very well rounded all around 👍🏼
Yes, great vid. Just got a Sinn 556 on the advice of Andrew so feeling rather smug that I’ve got 2 watch gurus on my side. Love what you do.
Tom's collection is the one for me.
Love this so much! Teddy was the sole reason I even got into watches as much as I have. Very fun video and great collaboration! Love you all for what you also do Andrew + Tom!!
Love Teddy! As always, the collab videos are great!
Teddy’s Trask for my “sporty” watch, his Longines Sector as the “wild card”…and the 1926 as the “dress” watch. That’s what I would pick.
Teddy’s choices won for me.
Great collaboration! All good choices for a $5k list, but Teddy wins to me.
Sporty: Vero Open Water Broadway LE - as tooly as it gets and as local as I can hope
Dress: Dufrane Waterloo Mechanical in rose gold and hammered copper - unique and classic are not limited to Swiss brands
Wildcard: Magrette Leoncino Creation - not quite as over-the-top as a fully engraved watch, but enough of the beauty to make nearly anyone smile
Teddy is a great guy, congrats!

My picks
- Garmin Instinct
- Tudor Pelagos FXD
- Serica 5303-3
Two favorite channels collaborating!
That Traska looks real nice for the price! Never came across one untill now.
Excellent video. Thank you 😊
My perfect 3 under 5k:
1.Longines Avigation Big Eye;
2.Mido Commander 1959 (the stainless steel with the silver dial);
3.Baltic Aquascaphe (steel/ blue gilt, the bronze,/blue dial or the bronze/brown - any of the 3)
What can I say - I love the vintage look.
dude you are looking healthy today. Keep doing whatever your doing, its working.
amazing video wtih Teddy and the watch finder gang.. amazing watches and great content guys..keep up the fantastic work all...
That Tudor is absolute fire
Andrew's collection got my vote. I am very interested in jumphour movement
I've learned so much from watching Teddy's video's.
From my own collection...
sporty - Certina DS Action Diver 38
dressy - Longines Record (blued hands, Romans)
wild card - Swatch What If?
...with $2K-ish left over to add more.
Bravo! More with Teddy, please!
The collab that I have always wanted
That Longines really REALLY needs a redesign with the 3 and 9 spun 90 degrees
Farer Aquamatic Cribbar @ $1050
Tangente Neomatik Ref 177 @$3580
Vario Empire GMT @$695
Teddy was the reason I got into watches
I would pick:
Sports: Seiko Prospex SRQ049J1 (because Seiko is life)
Dress: Perseo Dante Alighieri Automatico (that STP 1-11 movement at 600€ is found money)
I don’t really have a wild card because I’m kind of a plain guy
Yeah this guy Teddy is a real classy guy.I bought an Orient from his website.I like that he is an authorized dealer for so many brands.Makes you feel secure when u buy something from him not like these shady grey market guys
Thx for the content. Unfortunately not one watch you suggested would tempt me, but Vive le difference!!! It's always good to have some new suggestions.
Great video with all three of you! I’ll take the Sinn, the Tudor, and that Wacky ven diagram one Tom was championing
£5K you want full sets, some sort of diver, chrono and dress.
£2K you can get a Seamaster 300m 2nd hand, £1,200 a 37mm Monaco from a Tag Outlet (rare but I’ve seen) and a Cartier Chronoscaph £1,800
Just a really great video - thanks so much👍🏻
Hm, every collection had a watch I wasn’t really a fan of, so no winner for me. Guess it’s time to return the favor and also make a collection that isn’t perfect (but very much to my liking):
- Sporty: Longines Hydroconquest GMT
- Dress: Seiko Cocktail Time (I guess I have to pick a model… that’s tough… Manhattan (SRPB46))
- Mido Multifort TV Big Date
Should be just under 5k EUR, so I guess it would be fine for this USD challenge (especially as there seems to be a tendency to exclude sales tax when naming prices, at least in the US; my prices include sales tax)
For 5K, I'd go with a Sinn 556I RS, Monta Noble in blue, and Nomos Club Campus in cream coral. Perfection!
Teddy won this one.
Glad to #see the BEST ❤ COLLABORATE 🎉
That C. Ward is a STUNNER ❤
This combination is dinamite. You should do monthly videos. BTW, Teddy’s collection was there best. The Traska it’s just an amazing watch
The Tudor Glamour Date is one not many know about that looks very much like a Rolex DateJust 😊
5000 you get a omega sea master or Tudor gmt s&g
The collection I have already: Tissot Tradition Chronograph, Longines Heritage Military, Jean D'Eve Sectora (1988)
When it comes to fine imitation watches, gussl delivers. I've bought from them several times, and I've never been let down.
Space One looks like a bicycle gearshift
Teddy’s collection is best!
Two watch collection for about $6000. Grand Seiko SBGA 283 and Tudor Black Bay 58.
If I was given $5000, I’d make a 37 mm combo. For sport, the Longines Spirit 37 in black. For dress I’d go with Zodiac Olympios cream dial. For Woldcard I’d go Aquastar Deepstar II in steel grey.
Great collaboration
Collab of the year
Good picks all round but like Tom I did an eye roll when Andrew mentioned CW....... again!!
