Because of your video I asked my dealer at the time of purchase of my 4060le and they gave the switch to me for free!

I would just like to say I appreciate the demonstration on the display panel on the tractor... I may be getting a l 3560.. in this will help me a lot.... You didn't act like a know-it-all you were very humble.. it was like we were learning this together and that was cool... So I thank you again and I subscribe to your channel... Looking forward to watching more of your videos

Thanks so much for the video. I have a L3560 Limited Edition and have been trying to find out if the cruise control switch was really plug and play. Looks like I'll be getting my switch on order next week. Thanks again!!

Thanks for making the video. I’m looking at the L4060HSTC LE and all I want is cruise of the missing components. Thanks for answering whether it’s plug-n-play.

You need to make sure you have the same ends on your hydraulic lines so both tractors can move the same wagon, or whatever equipment needs hydraulic connections. Like all the wagons and tractors at our farm use the Pioneer couplers on each tractor so it doesn't make any difference which was the last tractor to move something.

Ya I need to look at that

When I looked at the rear hydraulics I asked what male connectors are needed and was shown the pack that comes with the kit, it includes 2 male couplers per kit. They all use standard fittings for attaching to the hoses, so that is one way around it. Right now my JD 1209 has old style John Deere fitting, so I can just sway that out when I get the new tractor with one that comes with it.

So how much did you save by putting the switch in yourself?

    • @HumbleAcres

The switch cost was $80 I don’t know how much the dealer would charge to put it on but the video is more just showing that the wiring is already there so it’s easy to put on if you want it.

Funny a the wiring there but they dont put the switch in. I've done that with cars wiring all there. Are you going to bale hay with it? Have a good day.

I wanted to bale with the John Deere but I might just use both.

@@HumbleAcres I'm buying an L4060 HSTC to bale with. I ran my HN 273 with my little B2410 the other day to see if it could, and it worked just fine. Moved the tractor around a bit, but it only weighs 1600 pounds. The L4060 weighs 4134 with the cab and no loader and I think the loader is another 1300 pounds, so about 5400 pounds vs 1600 makes quite a difference. There is only a 400 pound difference between the HSTC and HST so you should have no issue baling with it.
