      Jesus shows up in a white bathrobe and ray-bans wayfarers, holding a can of monster ultra. “hey dudes. You all know that I can walk on water. However, did you know that I can also drive on ethanol?” Hops in a town car and proceeds to hit a 0.25 second quarter mile. The glass on every car in a 1 mile radius immediately shatters as the pressure wave from the speed of sound being broken reaches them. The ground surrounding the starting line is now lava. Anybody standing near the exhaust when the car started accelerating is now in a completely different state of America. The rest of the audience’s ear drums are orbiting around the earth after reaching escape velocity. “And I didn’t even make it past 1st gear.”

I only want a bigger engine with more power just to get away from people on the roads who are a danger to themselves and others, whether they're lost/confused or their mind's clouded with excessive road rage. This has got to be one of the coolest sleeper builds I’ve seen. Other than it being slammed, I’m sure it rides great just like all of the other panther platform cars. Fully expected when you said it was swapped at the beginning for you to say it was a 4v or a coyote, would’ve never guessed an LS, but it’s clear it’s been done right and Zach has put the time to make it function like OEM, which is so awesome to see. Great Video!
    Ps: can’t believe that 2v redline was 4500rpm. That’s nuts

    • @bryanmiranda1745
      @bryanmiranda1745 Рік тому +6

      The ride quality is entirely dependant on the suspension, by slamming it you completely negate the cloudy stock suspension with a stiff sport suspension

    • @freedumb342
      @freedumb342 Рік тому

      @@P71ScrewHead I mean, it's a powerplant that has always and will always make much better power than a 2v. The only real thing that the 2v has over the LS is just sheer unkillability...to an extent. It's been shown that 2V engines tend to split in half at around the 700-750 HP mark, which for most people is something they'll never reach. However, i've seen stock LS blocks take a shitkicking at around 900 HP without issues. Plus, the LS has better drivability modded.

    I own a 97 midnight blue town car that was my first car and it’s absolutely amazing ! I love it! I just put 8k into the body. New paint. The whole 9.
    But my baby baby is my 96 Lincoln Mark8 LSC. It’s a dark.. I believe first green is the factory color. Tan leather. Intake, full dual exhaust with an “X” pipe, bigger headers, no cats. Factory the car comes with 280hp from
    The DOHC 4.6. The last time it was on the dyno which was after having the heads ported and new cams. I’m just under 400hp at the wheels. I absolutely love the car. I spent a good amount on her when buying. Just under 10k with around 100k miles. Car was from the south. So no rust from the snow and ice of the northeast. Car was listed for 12k but I got him down to just under 10 since I drove to Georgia from Maryland and drove the car home. I drive it waaaayyyy
    More then the town car theee days. The Lincoln Mark8 is the ultimate luxury coupe i believe that’s ever been built. It’s big heavy comfortable car that is still a coupe. This car will put you to sleep if you’re not used to riding in it. When me and my girl first got together anytime we would go somewhere and be in the car for more then 45min. The mark8 or the town car. She would
    Fall asleep. These Lincoln’s from
    The 90s are the best Lincoln’s that have been built in the last 30years hands down. Most comfortable. Quite inside. You can’t hear the road at all. Anyone who drives a town car and loves town cars. I highly suggest investing in an mark8

    This is the segment of car culture that does it for me. Take a clean tough older car, and make it a sleeper. He's done everything right, and this kind of reminds me of what I want to do with a car like my wife's Ford Flex EcoBoost (which, bone-stock are slept-on imho).
    I think we need to see more of this sort of content, as it's more unique than another Subaru or Lancer build (which are rather common now by comparison).
    I think the only other thing I would upgrade (if it's not done already), is to drop a sound system in it with say, a pair of Kicker Solo-Barics in the trunk, and have some old school beats playing while you casually roll around town in a slammed slab. It's got that old 60's and 70's super sled vibe, with a more modern powertrain, brakes and suspension mods.
    Shout out to Zach for such a cool build. I gotta go drive my neighbor's Bullitt P71 now...

    This is awesome! When I had my '93 Towncar I always wished it had a 5spd manual in it. In fact, if it had been equipped with a 5spd I would probably still have it. I sold it at 290k miles when the slush box crapped out. That car was a stealthmobile. I got so many other cars pulled over racing them. Cops straight up ignored the baby blue boat and would pull over the sporty cars even though I instigated the race and would be the one going faster when shot by the radar (though I'd lose if the cop had not intervened). Even took that car out to the desert through the washes with its higher ground clearance and cushy air ride rear suspension. I miss that car.

    Mine was a White 1991 Town Car just like this with the 4.6 in it crazy your first car was the same as mine. My aunt gave me the car in 1999 the air ride went out I replace all with regular shocks and struts I found out were the gad tank was fast went I mounted my Amp for my speakers on that big hump in the trunk I started smelling fuel lol! My OD went out so I was burning Hella fuel. This is so awesome

    2v 4.6 is one of the best sounding vehicles. My expedition has a muffler delete and it genuinely sounds great with the PI heads and intake. Lots of pops from back pressure too.

    I owned a 97 Town Car (bought in 2005) it was in near mint condition & nobody understands until they ride in one how comfortable (& reliable) they are until they take a ride. Im curious how much if any comfort was lost? My air suspension went out & to save $$ replaced with springs in back. I never accomplished doing what this guy did & on that note its very refreshing to see younger guys thinking outside the box & doing stuff like this. Keep it up if you're having fun & you should be able to make a lot of money while doing it!

    I remember people buying these Lincoln's as their 2nd car in the late 90's\early 2000's. This is a cool take on what was a complete grandma car!

    I owned a '91 towncar, it had the best seats in any car I've ever owned. And I've had some great cars with great seats before. It's like sitting in your Grandma's living room in the 80's just extra comfy and rides like a boat, just floats along with the air ride. This car is sick as shit!
