Nice video!! Looks just like the saber in the movies, especially the close up shots in Revenge of the Sith and the sequels. To customize it specifically as Rey's for Rise of Skywalker I'd add another brown strip of cardboard around the mid section to represent the repair.

So keep an eye out :) The lightsaber was primarily made from a cardboard tube, everything else was made from scraps of card in various thickness'. Other tools & equipment include : super glue, a hot glue gun, paint & a craft knife / scissors. Hope this helps and you enjoy making your very own lightsaber!! all measurements are in the video. I'm actually hoping to make another one rather soon :)

The hilt is hollow inside of the hilt right,I can find a PVC tube that fits and make it ligth up!!

most of the card i use is cut from leftover packages or brought from craft shops, hope this helps :)
