Thank you for making a tutorial for this that doesn’t need a 3D printer! Almost all other tutorials are just, “ uh, ok then you print the entire thing.” This was a really fun weekend project.
Aww thats great!! I'm glad i could help and that you enjoyed the video, i always try to make the builds as accessible to people as possible and make things using household materials if possible, so this is great to hear! I'm glad you had so much fun building it :)
this is the quality content i need, detailed helmet thats easy to build, takes a good 3 days to make, and you can easily modify and it doesent require templates, im gonna make alot of these and try experimenting to make an ARC trooper helmet, which only needs a fin and a rangefinder, and ill make rex's helmet and try making a republic commando helmet, tysm for the video even though im late by 3 months
Thank you for such a lovely comment! So glad i could help, i try to make all my videos / props as accessible as possible so hearing this is wonderful!! Good luck with all your prop building hope you have fun!!
At first I thought that was Stupid by the way it look, but after watching this video till the end I thought it was pretty good video. Thinking about making me one.
been watching videos that require lots of supplies i cant find or not available to me. how could i be so oblivious to this? i remember making piñatas with my mom using something called "engrudo". thank you for the vid!
Hey DeAndre, as far as i'm aware : cardboard sheets, tape, a balloon, cardboard tubes, strong glue, tin foil, newspaper, pva glue, paint & acetate sheets is everything you should need plus scissors, a ruler & pen etc. The rough cost of materials if you had to buy everything new is around £10 - 15, but this depends on the what you may already have. Hope this helps, have fun making :)
Enough to wear and get a few light knocks, but not a big hit! It also depends on how many layers of paper mache you do, the more you do the stronger it gets. I typically do around 3 layers because that works for me, but if you want really strong durability i'd say go for around 5 - 6 layers. Hope that answers your question :)
They really can take a while to make, i think this build probably took me around 4 or 5 days myself. I'm sorry to hear it didnt turn out quiet as well as you hoped it would, but practice & experience really do help, stick with it Marina 💛
Woah!! Thanks so much! This is really helpful for my Hunter costume for halloween! Lol, im actuallt @BruNOPE 's friend irl, we're being clones together for halloween! Thanks for such a detailed tutorial!
@@mustardmakes4041 i too don't have many cardboard tubes but, luckily I had one so I took some paper covered the cardboard tube in it i did it 6 to 7 times and got my own tubes not as hard as the cardboard tubes but a bit of paper mache and it's perfect
Arc is a Advanced Recon Commando. They have a fin on the back of their helmets to identify them from normal phase II clones. What MM made above is a 501st legion pII clone helmet.
@@anonymousanonymous9876 you’re mistaken, in phase 2 ARC troopers had the standard helmet. The reason is because the phase 1 ARC helmet is a prototype for phase 2 technology. Notice how ARC Jesse has the standard phase 2 helmet, as did Fives before his death

Or usually you have to buy a template
This is literally the easiest tutorial for any helmet I’ve ever seen
Thanks, that's what i was aiming for :)

Can I use spray paint to paint my helmet ?
i may do it

Thank you! Sound brilliant, have fun and good luck!
Pretty good
Yes I've been waiting
Haha enjoy :)
This is super cool! I’m gonna make one for myself. Any chance you could make a dc15A?
Amazing, i hope it goes well!! Best of luck Ben! I'll see what i can do about the dc15A :)
What do i use for the part that a clone would see thru see thru ?
A lot of people use welding visors, but if you're on a cheap budget, try experimenting with plastic bottles and markers.

I love Star Wars
Thanks
You're welcome :)
It was great
Is that card stock or is it normal paper I don't remember if you said it or not.
I mean i might actually try it too.
But in 6:44 you can see it's crooked a v bit
With a little more effort it can ben perfect.
whats all the stuff that's needed for this and the estimate cost?

Mine took so much longer it did int turn out as good this one it took me a week to make it

Nice
Thank you :)
Amazing tutorial, but I do think the accuracy of the helmets details are a little off, but goodluck with any projects you have !
Do you need the sandpaper
Good question
Ideally yes as it will give you a smoother finish, but it's not necessary, hope this helps. Best of luck!
@@mustardmakes4041 thank you it was really helpful

That's not a clone trooper, that's a Arc trooper
No it’s a phase 2 501st helmet
