Using The Ordinary’s Peeling solution is one of the products that has helped me cure (yes, cure) my acne. My skin doesn’t turn over like it should and the sticky, dead skin cells cause clogged pores. I have been using this peel for about a year now and I still don’t leave it on for more than 5 minutes. If you damage your skin barrier with leaving peels, acids on for too long, it will undo all the benefits. The skin-barrier’s health IS the most important thing in achieving healthy, clear skin.
I think I saw somewhere that this and milk of magnesia does that because it’s sucking all of the oil out, which can help your skin look more smooth, but it isn’t really a cure for the oil
I never thought I would sit and watch videos about skincare, but I've really been enjoying your channel. I appreciate your honesty and that you support your stances with actual scientific research. Keep up the great work, guys!

By morning my face looks much, much better.
As an esthetician I do love the clay mask, for dry skins I would recommend clients to mix in a little bit of their moisturizer to prevent the mask. from being too drying. Thanks Drs!!

The ordinary AHA BHA is my go to product. I use it twice a week for 10 mins and it does wonders. It saved me during my adult acne days. I no longer have adult acne for many other reasons. Thank goodness.
Something I've noticed about the Aztec mask is that it actually helped fade my wrinkles, I don't know if it's because it makes your face pulsate and brings your blood flow to the surface or the acv. Anyways I believe it has helped me, it could be different for everyone I guess.
I agree with the hair loss video suggestions! I've been suffering horrible hair loss and would love a review of some of the brands and their ingredients that claim they help with hair loss (Zenagen, Bondi Boost, Nioxin, etc.)

I would love to hear any skincare suggestions to help with the breakouts and cleansing
This is my favorite video. So helpful and hilarious too. ETA: wow! I was surprised all these hacks passed muster! I appreciate your willingness to consider other alternatives. As a PhD, I am always disappointed by how much we can be constrained by epistemic norms. But you guys are really reaching out to open up the knowledge. This is the definition of what Kuhn calls a “paradigm shift”, at least in your scientific field. Hats off.
I'm someone with dry skin and my skin is a little bit sensitive but not too much. The first time I started out with skincare was years ago in high school. I saw this recipe where you use 3/4 of water and 1/4 of apple cider vinegar. I use this every night for a week. And I had a huge chemical burn on my forehead it was a black patch that soon had a shell that formed in the healing process. Everyone in school had asked me are you okay oh my God what happened to your forehead. I would tell them it's a chemical burn from some skincare that I did it's fine. I had to explain what happened to everyone for a month until it got better. So I will never use apple cider vinegar again cuz it just did not agree with my skin even though I really did dilute it a lot and didn't use it for a long time. However my sister swears by apple cider vinegar and it has cured a lot of her facial and back acne. So it just depends on your skin. We all have different reactions to ingredients.
This was helpful. Thanks! Can y'all make a video on how to reduce or get rid of hyperpigmentation on dark skin? Or at least review products that claim to do that?
I did the Aztec clay mask with apple cider vinegar and it burned my skin leaving dark spots around my lips! If you have sensitive skin do not use apple cider vinegar!
Definitely dilute it with water, that helped with the burning for me. I also don't let it completely dry on my face, I'll either have it on in the shower or I'll just steam my face with it on. Also don't wash it off in the sink! The clay will clog your drains, I use paper towel and my makeup eraser and then just give my face a rinse. Then I'll follow with hyaluronic acid, my retinol and a vitamin E sleeping mask because it can dry your skin out. :)
@@Snowball_10 but have you noticed any major difference in the way your skin looks after introducing the aztec clay mask into your skincare routine? does it really have healing properties?
Ive used the Aztec Indian Clay Mask for years now. I do not mix it with ACV and never advise my clients to do that either. It helps keep the oil at bay on my oil slick skin and makes it baby soft. Ill have to try the others on your video. Thank you for your wonderful channel..you guys are awesome!
The clay mask helps with scarring too. If you have fresh scars and use silicone patches on half, clay mask on the other half, the clay side actually scars less.
I've been using Aztec clay for the last 3 years on my skin and hair. I usually mix it with rosewater and acv then follow up with aloe gel from my plant works like a charm. Both skin and hair. I do it 3x a week on my face. Hair twice a month. Im trying to see what else is out there but I keep coming back to this 😂it reboots and calms and soothes my skin and hair and scalp so much

The ordinary AHA BHA is my go to product. I use it twice a week for 10 mins and it does wonders. It saved me during my adult acne days. I no longer have adult acne for many other reasons. Thank goodness.
I really appreciate y’all for putting in the ratios for the clay mask! Basically if we’re gonna use these viral trends, we should do so safely! 🥳🥳
Something I've noticed about the Aztec mask is that it actually helped fade my wrinkles, I don't know if it's because it makes your face pulsate and brings your blood flow to the surface or the acv. Anyways I believe it has helped me, it could be different for everyone I guess.
Yeah the Aztec clay mask is amazing. It’s inexpensive and I would recommend it to everyone.
I thought it was me my face be pulsating so vad
I agree with the hair loss video suggestions! I've been suffering horrible hair loss and would love a review of some of the brands and their ingredients that claim they help with hair loss (Zenagen, Bondi Boost, Nioxin, etc.)
I have use the Aztec clay mask usually diluting the apple cider vinegar with green tea .Also adding in aloe vera gel is a nice plus!
I would really appreciate if you can you do a video dedicated to skincare that is safe during pregnancy? Thank you for all the great content you provide!
I second this. It seems like quite a few things aren't safe during pregnancy.
Thank you!! I admire the chemistry these two doctors shared - so priceless 🤩
46 seconds ago, we love to see it. That and the digs Dr. Shah takes at Dr. Maxfield, I love their bromance 😂💖
Hello, Drs! Thanks to your informative vids and super advice now really look after my skin with no nonsense products. I’ve stopped obsessively picking in a magnifying mirror and creating a shit load of problems. I really did hurt myself a lot... I’m now obsessing over looking after myself. My skin has never looked so good. Thank you so much for helping me overcome such a damaging neurosis!
Talking about Harry Potter, imagine these two in potions class together. 😂
Boys boys boys....y’all crack me right up!! Oh...and inform in a fabulously scientific way! Great channel find!! Thank you!!
I feel like the way these two look at each other is just them admiring each others skin
They are such a cute couple, you can see just how much they love each other. I'm so happy for them. Love from Russia - Vladimir Isanobich
The Aztec clay helps with scalp psoriasis, it calmed my break outs down every time. Equal parts water.
How do you use it for scalp? I have scalp psoriasis 😢
Finally actual qualified people talking.
I would love to see a video for skin/face management for nightshift workers or nightshift healthcare workers. Wearing masks all the time is hard but you usually get a break when you're in your car or going home. When I work a 12 hr wearing and switching from N95 to surgical the entire time, by the time I get home in the morning I'm tempted to do a deep clean and recovery. I would love to hear any skincare suggestions to help with the breakouts and cleansing
As an esthetician I love these videos so much!
Hats off.
I love using Aztec Clay once a week with organic apple cider vinegar. Paul’s choice peeling 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I prefer to use it with some manuka honey and green tea!
@@Chaimaa196 Thanks sweetheart.
@@taesfilter3026 yes it works miracles for me all dark spots sponge if I use 3x out the week I love it !!
i love that you have a straight up cooking segment. kills me
This is a formal request for more experiments in future videos!
Waiting (im)patiently for your deep-dive on hair loss!
Please make videos about hair care too. Love your work
I’m so glad I found this channel🙌
Ive used the Aztec Indian Clay Mask for years now. I do not mix it with ACV and never advise my clients to do that either. It helps keep the oil at bay on my oil slick skin and makes it baby soft. Ill have to try the others on your video. Thank you for your wonderful channel..you guys are awesome!
Thanks guys. I learned way more than I expected to learn here
The clay mask helps with scarring too. If you have fresh scars and use silicone patches on half, clay mask on the other half, the clay side actually scars less.
Wow. Just found you guys. Watching you while I workout had a smile on my face the whole time! You guys are great!
😂😂 We all know about Dr Shah's sensitive eyelids.
It's like the one constant, lol.
@@db-gb5xi that and his love for Salicylic acid😂
Just like mine, they are the first to break out or swell up due to allergens or irritants 🥸
😁😁
Are they colleagues or boyfriends?????
My favorite skincare channel!! ♥
I've been using Aztec clay for the last 3 years on my skin and hair. I usually mix it with rosewater and acv then follow up with aloe gel from my plant works like a charm. Both skin and hair. I do it 3x a week on my face. Hair twice a month. Im trying to see what else is out there but I keep coming back to this 😂it reboots and calms and soothes my skin and hair and scalp so much
Agreed
Does it help with Frizxy hair?
Thank you thank you!!! The exact mixture for the clay mask is thoughtful and very very helpful!!
I just watch for the bromance 😀
Yes, that's that!! 😊
I love watching both of you, always brings a smile to my face and love your advice
That clay is actually really good stuff 👏
This is my favourite bromace on the internet
Video suggestion: Your wives' skincare routines
You think they r straight?
@@annm3968 they wear a marriage ring and I think I heard one of them speak about his wife.
Only one person has a wife there i think.
Maxfield has mentioned his wife
@@annm3968 u don't have to be straight to have a wife as a man..
You guys have awesome chemistry. Love your videos. Very informative
Love your videos and the scientific backup! Would love for you guys when discussing products, how often to use it and for what skin! Thank you so much! :)
LOVE IT !! I LOVE TO WATCH YOU GUYS TOGETHER AND TALK ABOUT SKINCARE AND PRODUCTS.
I AM FOLLOWING YOUR ADVICE ON EVERYTHING .
CAN YOU PLEASE SUGGEST SOME VIEWS ON MICRO-NEEDLING AND HOW TO TAKE CARE AFTER, AND BEFORE. WHAT TO AVOID AND DO AND TAKE CARE OF SKIN. IT WILL BE REALLY HELPFUL TOO.
I love the Origin's super spot remover, it's not viral but i think a lot more people should know about and it would also be great to get a professionals' opinion:)
Yall got a new subscriber!! This is sooo helpful. I always tried to do natural remedies and natural oils, because I cant trust anything that is chemically made now a days
The detailing and the depth tall go into really helps. Thank you!
When Dr Shah says "This is a chunk-free zone" and you just know that Dr Maxfield wanted to say "But not hunk-free". 😂
