I don’t understand how the owner of this sanctuary can’t see that gorillas are very intelligent and are frustrated with seeing the same area time and time again. They must have covered every nooks and cranny over and over that it must be boring as sitting still. Is the owner that cruel to just allow them to be frustrated for the spectacle of people paying to watch them. Gorillas are too intelligent and need a much larger enclosure or at least update it to be more challenging. The swings and climbing frame may look great but for a gorilla is boring. There mental state should be challenged!😊
It won’t be much longer that Shabani is going to pull a Haoko on Nene or Ai or both ,,,, that poor big guy is getting so frustrated. He’s gonna grab one of them by the ankles and just go to town.😮😮sorry I said it like that buttttttt it the truth y’all see soon 😅😊😊😊😊😊
I feel like Annie is his world but also his boss at times. 🤭 It seems like she can do no wrong with him. But I also feel like she respects him and is forever grateful for his protection.❤

I feel that too . Everyday it’s Groundhog Day. Gorillas are intelligent and they know they are in captivity because their whole area is the same. The enclosure is by far not enough for these intelligent beings and when humans know that it makes them cruel. The sanctuary needs to do more and not ignore their frustrations.😊
It's good to see him be strict with his family when he needs to be...most of what I have seen he's playful with his troop and needs to be pushed pretty hard to show his authority side
When a mother gorilla feels the need to protect her infant against the silverback, she shows no fear, great aggression and a loud warning against him. And he heeds the warning & runs away. She is in power at that time and he knows not to push her temper too far or there will be hell to pay. FYI: the other mothers will back her up too. There is no man or silverback gorilla that wants to deal with 1 angry female, neartheless a group of angry females!

Why don’t they have trees or simulated trees for them, boring habitat, they get depressed too!
I’d be messing with everybody too if I had nothing to do all day but to stare at the same grass every day for years.
Annie is the only family member that has ABSOLUTELY NO FEAR of Shabani ,she'll get out his way but isnt concerned about him getting mad at her
