"WE TOUCHED THE UNITED STATES BOATS!"
The simple fact you can CLAIM that, means you didnt do shit.
If your able to claim that you touched our boats... means you didnt actually touch our boats.
That or they're posting from the afterlife with a soulburn.😅
Had they actually touched our boats, they wouldn't be saying that in an excited manner. It would be in a very horrified manner.

A few months ago at drill we got a politics briefing. The leading line of the sergeant giving the brief was "now I'm not qualified to tell you weather or not you should kill yourself, but when you do don't do anything political."
You know, they call it "water boarding", but I never get bored.
But does the water board before or after first class?
G.I. Joe: Retaliation. Love that film.
@@javiercamacho1998 I didn't think anyone was going to notice.
I can't even imagine the series of horrible life choices that would lead someone to enlist at 39.
I would have re-enlisted. From an 11E to working on other people's cars - I was sick of that bullshit.
Fortunately, I went to college, got my degree, and retired from the DoD.
Must've been prior service too, wasn't it only recently raised to 35?
We had some poor bastard who was an NCO in the air force prior to arriving in our basic training company. His MOS was phased out and I guess Uncle Sam said reclass or get out. Fella wanted his retirement so he chose reclass but for whatever reason he decided to go army and took a demotion... Man was an E5 in basic and well over 40. DS's didn't know what to do with him at first. Ended up putting him in a separate room outside of the bay cause they couldn't make an NCO shack up with us filthy privates. It was interesting.
Had two guys in my basic cycle, both 32.
@@BIGM-gg9ln I had one. He was 33. The road that had led him there was not a happy one. Everyone, including our DSs, called him "Grandpa".

Well. They did go over 100 miles into Iraq during Desert Storm so...
Airborne - because we're too dumb to just hike in... yeah, that's right, I said that.
Here before UA-cam Ministry of Truth flags the video for being "too spicy".
This is why I have been saying we vets need to come together to start a new network so these social media platforms can't continue to silence us, but nobody seems to get how important this is until they are being forced to go to a different platform because the censorship of vets is completely out of hand. Never forget what this platform did to Don Shipley and a number of other vets since then. Jameson Travels or Odins Men is constantly fighting against UA-cam censoring him. There's dozens of other examples I could give where vets are struggling to stay on these platforms that control our ability to freely communicate with one another. It just keeps getting worse but nobody says anything until they experience it for themselves. We need to form a new platform for and by vets. Everytime I have attempted this on my own I have been purged from the platform or get censored completely. Every vet on here says the exact same thing about how they are constantly fighting to keep their channels going while the censorship goes unchecked. AC isn't even the only drill instructor I know who has been going through this either, they did the same thing to John Burk who helped an Army buddy of mine years ago in getting a new wheelchair after the mainstream media did a story on him having multiple strokes and his last wish was to get messages from people. I have seen plenty give up out of frustration that nothing changes for the better.
i like that. "UA-cam Ministry of Truth"
@@AngryCops AC please consider what I wrote, I think you could really help get this started where I couldn't. I can't use Facebook or Twitter but I know a lot of other vets on them who feel the same way. We need a line of communication that connects us all without these tech companies controlling that necessity. I think it's going to become even more important in the near future to have this established as soon as possible. We need everyone in this, though. I feel it's extremely important to make a very public display of unity as a nationwide big dysfunctional family.
@@AngryCops I just wrote something and it got deleted, it's really bad brother.

When I was in basic training at Ft Sill, OK, one of the privates in 3rd platoon died on the way back from our morning company run. We were about a half mile out and he started falling out of formation. The Drill Sgt's followed standard motivational phrasing (get back in formation). As we were cooling down and stretching, he and the Drill Sgt's returned. The private was white a sheet and glassy eyed. I was told to secure his gear. The other Drill Sgt's barked at us to not focus on what was happening behind us. The private died that morning partly due to having walking pneumonia. That was the first time I saw a dead body.
Ouch.
1st, this is why we go to funerals as young children.
Get comfortable with death, it happens.
2. I can't imagine getting pneumonia at FT Sill.
But that's the minimum of why Drills are supposed to closely monitor every individual entrusted to them.
Most of my Basic Training company caught a viral form of bronchitis. I was told by sick call, after they ran their tests, that if nothing else killed me first, I could expect to die of emphasima from it in my sixties; then I spent most of my leave before a year-long AIT in a coma. Same during my leave after AIT, two weeks in a coma.
@@davidgoodnow269 I was at Ft Sill Jan - March 1992. I vaguely remember grumblings amongst other privates stating they had been discouraged from going to sick call; true or not, I don't know. I had other things, such as training, to focus on rather than grumblings. It was unfortunate that he passed though. I can't imagine the mountain of paperwork that followed the incident.
Junteenth: the beginning of riot season. I mean, "mostly peaceful protest season." Yeah, that's the ticket.

Ask your pharmacist. Now available in grape, strawberry and Watermelon flavors!

"...how else am I going to buttstroke the enemy?" Perfect logic.
I cant find it, but I remember an article about the USMC switching to the M4 _years_ ago, and some female was asked about it and she said "the stock's made of plastic, but would we beat someone with it" or something to that effect.
About Claymores, the words on the front are just a suggestion and 'enemy' is subjective.
AC coming with the MK2 reference is a great way to kick off a Saturday.
I love his Eli-Imitating-Ryden impression. That was so good.
Fuck yeah. Who needs sleep when you got AC?
Just wanted to mention that in the Command and Conquer series they actually have a dedicated grenade unit that has a backpack full of spicy frisbee grenades that are semi-smart munitions that aim for specific windows on buildings.

Ok wait, it has been some years since I was in the service, but since when is the military taking new recruits over the age of 30, much less 37?
Had a guy in army basic turn 38 during training back in 2020. Had several others in their early 30s
@murkythreat people who signed in 2020 are now ETSing or reupping.
All you need is a waiver if you’re over 35. Recruitment is pretty bad.
You can be up to 42 if you're national guard.
@@flyingturret208thecannon5 Should have went reserve. I did know an O-6 who was an MP in Vietnam, got RIF'ed, went reserve, and stayed in until he was 60.
The wall locker one reminds me of when I was in basic in the early 80's, we still had the old metal single wall lockers, and one guy kept leaving his unlocked during morning formation/inspection. So we're in formation on the blacktop and you hear screaming from inside the barracks, then a window on the third floor is yanked open, and you the top of a wall locker being shoved out, until the entire thing came crashing to the ground! It was glorious.......... although largely because I wasn't the one in trouble!
I'm really looking forward to the next AMR as that homework is bound to bring out a lot of darkness, and I'm here for it! :)
As a Lab tech for an OCONUS base that first one hits hard. We draw and process the pregnancy test and VD panels on the wives only for the husband to come thru for a post deployment panel 2 months later. Walking thru the base exchange and just having to swallow your tongue seeing the SSgt/TSgt with the pregnant wife whose carrying a bun that is not the husband and you CAN'T say a word.
Hey! Thanks for the shout out guy! I also peaked in high school!
How many touchdowns did you score at Polk High?
I knew I had a dark twisted sense of humor, I remove my hat and bow to these outstanding folks.
My peak was AIT, when I set off a barracks fire alarm at 2 am and ended up being put in charge of all the fuckups for the rest of my training, just because I was a PFC.
We had a freshman cadet pass away during the PFT at USAFA when I was there. They dragged his body to the sidelines of the track and kept running the test. When some other four-degrees complained about being traumatized by it and needing time off, the Superintendant told them to shut up and go to class. It happens sometimes.

OMG! The "Hey! You've got fire watch!" gave me some SERIOUS flashbacks. And I was in BCT in 1999....
When I was in basic in 2007 I'm pretty sure we had a guy dye. I mean he collapsed in a heap on the obstacle course day 1 and we never saw him again, so....
The timing on that crosshair shot. Gold
We were under black out conditions, on our fob, I was walking to the head about midnight, and heard somebody let a few rounds fly, I hit the ground, thinking they shot at me, turns out it was a guy on post, clearing his saw, in the barrel. I didn’t need to go to the head after that. lol.
"We can't use hazing because low quality NCO's take it too far and get people hurt"
I felt that in my bones and totally agree.
I've experienced it on both sides of the spectrum. My first team leader? Broke my nose with a CVC shell because the stryker wouldn't start and he "knew it was my fault", later found out that the mechanics didn't reconnect the fuel line to the engine. Second team leader, had me koala-fy against the other privates and would do goofy funny shit like stand back to back and interlock our arms in an air squat while spinning in a circle chanting "crab people crab people" for 20 minutes. No particular reason for it other than a bit of public embarrassment and everyone got a laugh. I still look back and chuckle about that one.
Crab people is pretty based

The "hey high speed" one just made me question if he ever got replacement cabinets. God I love that story.
Had a friend who was a sergeant and he deviced a training regimen that sent recruits to the hospital. It wasn't even him trying to be mean, he was himself perfectly capable of doing everything in the regimen, so he didn't think it'd be that hard on younger dudes. It led to investigations and while in the end he was cleared of any wrongdoing, his career stalled and he left the military.
