  • Ben of ATG breaks down the importance of knee health and why you should use floss bands to help with knee recovery from pain and stiffness before and or after a work out. Ben has suffered many knee injuries in the past but with flossing his knees with the floss bands, he does not suffer chronic knee pain any more. This video is an instructional on how to use the bands to stop knee pain asap!

    He's not exagerating at all! I was having patella tendon pain on both knees, nothing excruciating but definitely annoying and noticeable. I did what he did in this video here with these bands, and I am not joking when I say it made the tightness in my patella tendons COMPLETELY disappear immediately and I was able to have a little squat session on the VMO board completely pain free for the first time in 6 months. I am still in disbelief at how well it worked and that the effects were so immediate. Now this is just my experience but I can say the results blew my expectations out of the water (I was a bit skeptical). I'm so grateful I found this and thank you guys for sharing this incredible info!

      @davidsenay2811 3 роки тому +9

      Icing works against your tendons.. tendons are stiff and aren't easily flexible. If you have bad knees it's better to heat them up and deep tissue massage around the knees to break up the scar tissue. Same if you get golfer or tennis elbow. Ice is only needed of you have swelling like when you pull a hamstring and it swells up. So you ice it to bring down the swelling due to lack of blood flow.

    • @davidsenay2811
      @davidsenay2811 3 роки тому +1

      @@treefitty937 which tendon are you talking about exactly on your knee or elbow? You want to massage the muscle bellies around surround the tendon.. that way the muscle loosens up and pulls less on the tendon. Also heating and cold treatment isn't bad as long as when your icing a tendon you don't play on utilizing it until it heats back up. (Cold/movement/workload) is the worst for a injured tendon. Also to fix a tendon you have to strengthen what ever muscle surround it for golfer/tennis elbow would be getting your flexors/extensor stronger in the forearm. Knee problems I'm guessing would be to strengthen quads and tibial ankle mobility anything that can help take away impact from the knees.

      I don’t think it would be safe to use flossing for the neck. Shoulders, sure. Maybe the problem lies further down and shoulder flossing would help.
