I think playing singles is tougher because you’re out there alone. Doubles you at least have someone to talk to about being nervous. Be so proud of yourself!! I started playing at 30, like you, and truly has been the most wonderful thing I’ve done for myself. I’m obsessed!

I played 18 years of competitive tennis growing up and this brought all the anxiety back so im SO proud of you for doing this! Tennis is such a mental sport and the pre-match poos are just a part of it haha - you're not alone lol! although when I was young I really hated the mental aspect and it didn't let me enjoy it as much, now that im older I love it as both a social sport and one I can keep playing as I get older :)

I just love your vlogs! It’s so fun watching you play tennis and just pursue interests. I think the subject of hobbies is really important. As we get older it’s common to stop with hobbies when kids come around, but it’s such a vital part of our sense of self and being an individual. I love that you have a hobby together! Think you’re such a good role model with tennis and exercise! I was so uncomfortable growing up doing any sport. But now as a +30 year old I’ve picked up both weights training and golf - so find your tennis and exercise content v inspiring!
So fun. Loved watching you guys play. It’s a great idea to try something new. At 38 I joined a dance studio and learned jazz and had to perform my dance at a recital. I joined recreational badminton and racketball. Absolutely loved it. Thank you for sharing. ❤❤❤
We have a whole fruit orchard at our house, its great to have fresh fruit! Keep the soil in your blueberry pot very moist (not soaking) and also you need a pot twice the size. A wide and lower pot. The root system is more shallow. Water the soil not the plant and put some mulch on top of the soil to keep it from drying out. You also need to get an acidic fertilizer or a bag of acidic soil for blueberries and fertilize the soil (not the plant) maybe every 4 months. They def need acidic conditions to grow. Also just a tip for all your vegetables, water the ground around and below them not just over the top of the plant. Occasional misting everything is good to do as the leaves do need water too if they look dry but the soil is what needs the water the most. And watering the plant leaves promotes leaf disease and bugs. Btw every plant needs fertilizer and water to survive, fertilizer is the food. I'd get a simple non burning fertilizer like fish emulsion or bat guano. Theyre natural and non chemical. You only need a cap or two mixed with water in a watering can and its safe to use on every plant! I fertilize every 2 months for all my plants indoor and out. The fertilizer goes in the soil and never on the stalk or leaves just an fyi. I have a bit of a green thumb and just wanted to help!! ❤
You can water them in the morning as long as you do it before the sun is at its peak. I water mine in the morning all of the time. Just don’t do it in the middle of the day 🫶🏻 Love those white flowers, would love to know what they’re called. 🤍

Aww Lan so proud of you! I grew up a competitive athlete and miss it so much! My spouse has played golf his whole life and after years of poo-pooing it, last year I became obsessed with it too! You’re great with 2 racquets. I played in college and max only ever had 3 with 2 the same. If you’re breaking strings on more than one racquet in a match then chat with your racquet stringer! I miss playing 🎾!
