Y'all made this apartment look 3X bigger than it was, and it's so functional! Those doors and nightstands in the bedroom are quite amazing, but the whole space seems airy and light and it has no right, with such an odd layout of the walls and doors, to look so well-designed. One of the best Studio Fixes you've ever done. The couple looked thrilled, and I can see why.
so incredible, that was honestly highlight of the entire makeover. also good space planning. the only thing i'd change is the freestanding wardrobe for another dresser.
As someone with a very small apartment, I found that a great way to create a dining nook is using 2 IKEA kallax bookcases as an L shaped bench. Not only i can fit up to 8 people in a place that otherwise would only fit 6 people max, but it also serves as storage space! It was literally a life saver, since I love having friends over and own too many items I didn't have any more space to store in.
I'd at least add a sturdy slab of wood above for the seating. Kallax is mostly air and cardboard - wrapped with 3mm hardboard (the thicker walls). So I wouldn't want to sit on those longterm. The good thing is the variable heights - each section adds ~33 cm. So you can really fit it into your space. But not sure about open shelving on the floor - will be a magnet for dust, crumbs,...
Great job for such a small space. The only thing I would change is I would do some cool wooden folding chairs for the kitchen so they could put away when they don't need them
That is what I was thinking! There looks to be a gap in between the cabinet holding the microwave and the fridge so I bet one folding chair could easily slide in and they could keep one chair out all the time to balance out the bench
Yesss it killed me that they didn’t fit underneath the table… even a slightly smaller choice of chairs would’ve worked a bit better and imo they could’ve matched the bench a bit better as well but they did amazing either ways!
The only thing I don't like are the plastic crates on top of the kitchen units. Some nice bowls and pots or more baskets would look so much better. Other than that, it's a great job in such a tiny space.
@@patrick201114 It's so rare to find anything to criticise in Alexandra's makeovers but they just seemed like an afterthought. They draw the eye, would gather dust, and if you put stuff in them it would be completely visible. They are the sort of plastic storage crates you would have in a shed or garage. Some vintage pottery and baskets would work so much better, plus their contents would be hidden. Apart from that though, as always AG and her team have done an AMAZING job.
yep!!! they are an eyesore and a cleaning nightmare .. also i thought the chairs were too big .. smaller ones that could slide under would be far more efficient and more eclectic... I am surprised they didn't use more colour as well....
Yeah that is why there are so many designers out there. Just don’t have $$ for them, so one bite at a time on that elephant. Chose paint then finally Bought paint but had 🤦🏻♀️moment where forgot brushes. Wonder how long before brushes
Graham needs to sell his hanging side tables. Also, his closet doors would really sell. This was a delightful video. I think this video alone would get you over a million subscribers. Maybe you could do a UA-cam shortie, speeded up. This video has it all. Great job everyone. Sending happy thoughts to all.
As always, the way the reveal is filmed is better that ANY makeover channel. It’s filmed better that AD when they film interiors. Really, truly, props to whomever is behind the camera.
That's Carla. She is great but the drone-style sweeps into details on accessories are less important to me than the wide before & after shots which are much more effective, IMO
As a Californian, every time you do over bed storage or decor I LITERALLY PANIC. I would and could never. Idc where I'm living NO. 😂 I challenge you to expand storage in a non above bed way in one of these spaces. I wanna see what you come up with 👁️👄👁️
I never lived in an earthquake zone but I could NEVER tolerate any cabinetry or shelving above the headboard of my bed. I would live in fear of it and its contents tumbling upon my head as I slept.
I've experienced several earthquakes in the middle of the night so I really will never do above-bed shelving. They're so nice and cute but risky for our area
just want to say after watching so many videos how lucky you are to have Graham, he is so talented, cute and humble. I hope he stays with your wonderful show

Haha, I'm with you - I don't watch them on Saturdays usually, I like to savor them, so I wait a few days. Watched this one this morning, and I'm now watching it a second time. So many clever details in this makeover - all the little things - so many great ideas!

Those pop light sconces are an about time product. About time that we can have sconces without hiring an electrician. This makeover is adorable. I'm surprised a couple can live happily in 250 square feet, but you've made it feel spacious with colors, style and storage.
Every time I see your makeovers, I am blown away by how much you have changes a space & made it a place the residents can feel proud of. You & your team are fantastic. I am really blown away by this makeover.
So many great ideas! It looks adorable. Your makeovers are always so charming. My only personal critique is it seems like the storage unit above the edge should be lower on the wall and the two kitchen chairs would fit under the table if they were narrower. They seem too big for the room and the table.
I always get excited for these because I want to see a tiny bathroom makeover, but then they're never included!!! Please do a makeover for a tiny studio apartment bathroom, too!! My house has very small full bathrooms and I'd love some inspo!!
Every time I think your team has done the most beautiful space EVER, I wait for the next episode and say I was wrong, because you do it again, EVERY TIME!!!!
Wow u guys gave them everything they asked for bedroom, seating, storage, light and managed to fit all of it in 250sq ft 👏 it looks so much bigger and more functional now
Love 95% of this, but I don't think the storage above the cabinets will work. I tried doing that in my place based on a video of yours, and everything up there gets covered in a gross film of grease being so close to the stove which has no hood. Closed storage might be a better bet!
Really stunning and unexpected...I thought "Wow what a lot if stuff in that space" and "not a fan of so many dufferent wood colors" BUT you proved me wrong! It all looks so good and the place looks so much bigger! And when they saw the reveal I teared up. They love it!
This is such an amazing space! I’m blown away by the doors and night stands graham built. The one thing I would change is the milk crates on top of the cabinets. You used them in another makeover and I loved them, but something about this space makes them not as cohesive. Hopefully they have enough storage from all the other spots you added. Love love love!!
I love how cute and functional the shelves in the kitchen are, especially with the sliding without tilting! However, the chairs look way too big and bulky, pretty and comfortable folding chairs would've been a better option to give them the opportunity to free up space if needed and maybe seat one more person. Especially since it doesn't look like 4 people could sit AND eat there comfortably. The hutch could've used non-seethrough doors in my opinion. Especially since Elif and Asif mentioned that they would like to hide things better in that corner. Maybe making the doors pop with a nice but not too in you face pattern repeating the green of the cabinets (painted or peel and stick) or the lattice from the closet doors. The mirror looks really nice there! The bedroom is too mix-and-not-matchy in my opinion; it makes it less cohesive and cozy than it could've been. The furniture types and wood tones just don't really go too well together, I think. Also, yes, some storage has been added, but I think giving really up high wall to wall and maybe even on more than one wall book shelves would've been more practical and looked nice (maybe add a little indirect light moment or some cute string lights). Also, the "closed storage" isn't often really closed. Most of those baskets would've been better with lids (less dusty, hiding clutter better and less fading of clothing etc from light) and bigger. Especially in the kitchen and the "wardrobe". For the bedroom I feel a ceiling light is missing. Something not too dominant but to give them more light when needed (like outfit check when it's dark outside). All in all it looks so much better and Elif and Asif look really happy and them loving it is the most important thing.
adding a Murphy bed to that bedroom and closing up the clothing storage would have functionally added an entire room to this couple's house, giving them a hangout space for friendsand even the ability to use the room as a study or hobby space in the daytime. They wanted to be able to spend time with friends in this apt... beyond having tea, 4 people wouldn't fit comfortably.
Love the decor! Why not use thinner vertical space by the back kitchen door and fridge? And floor to ceiling wardrobe in the bedroom? Vertical space is often underutilized… vertical storage!!! Vertical storage!!! Vertical storage!!! No mini shelves, top to bottom full wall closed storage!!! Love the front door storage tree! So many good ideas - and yet - use the whole wall floor to ceiling for closed storage! Around beds, in kitchens, around your tv etc. in all these studio apartments…
Yes and a curtain in the window of the door. Then a short bin could be put below the window with the tall thin chimney cupboard at an angle by the frig so it's accessible.
OMG what a makeover! You actually brought tears to my eyes, so inspired, so inspiring, such a revelation! To use and work with a space, with your creative team, to care, to create and to bring to life. I'm very impressed. As your client said, even if I had the same budget, I couldn't do this. You have a wonderful talent, Alexandra, and have surrounded yourself with a very impressive and creative team. Thank you so much.

But above all, Alexandra is a really good person!!! Thank you for all these beautiful, and positive years full of creativity, love for your job and peers and respect towards every single person you meet! God bless you!❤
This transformation turned out absolutely stunning. It's so gorgeous. And the closet doors Graham made? Stop it right now, they're incredible. The added storage *is* amazing and deserves 4000 mentions. The one thing I wish could be changed was the countertop around the kitchen sink, as it appeared to be rotting away. I know you can't change everything in a space, especially with it being a rental, so I'm not upset you guys didn't address it. What I am wondering is why a landlord wouldn't have fixed that before someone moved in, because that level of rot has taken yeaaaars.
Wow. The reimagined bedroom is a HUGE success. Love the creative use of customized nigh tables and the old-school sliding cabinet/shelf piece - above the bed - a classic old school idea that was put to a very clever use. LOVE the kitchen/dining, impressed how you maxed out its functionality - 4 people and looks so good, something you'd see in Europe. Congrats, impressive!
So good!! Love the side tables!! What a transformation!! **is anyone thinking that the dining chairs are just too big? And I would have put shelves above the kitchen hutch.
As soon as she showed them, I was googling for other options. There is a 5 in 1 nesting cube chair that I would have used. It gives 5 seats when needed, but doesn't leave the space so visually cluttered.
As someone who lives in a small space, watching this series is just so satisfying. Great designs & maximizing spaces with Team AG's special touch, chef's kiss ❤
I too live tiny, about 350 sq ft. So I definitely paid attention for my place, noted ur sources. Lol. Biggest takeaways, kitchen shelves & wall storage above bed. Quality job team AG !! Love u all.
This wallcovering rep’s heart exploded when you mentioned using silicone to make the WC more water resistant! Bravo!!! …and Grants creations are stunning as usual. Those nightstands!
Ok, Alexandra and team you changed not only this apartment but their lives. Having a beautiful functional place to live, a place where you feel supported and comfortable, is paramount for productivity and mental health. I was skeptical about this space. It seemed too daunting to pull off what was needed let alone make it beautiful. Well, you did it! 10/10.❤
I feel like AG was off her game with this one. 50 different wood tones in the bedroom and kitchen and could have went with dining chairs that matched better and could slide under the table. Also the backsplash peeking out by the buffet.
One of the biggest transformation yet! But that closet door..Graham never ceases to amaze me with what he can come up with & do with wood!!🤯 Honestly such a cool space! Great job team AG😊
If Graham came up with the design for those bedside tables, you need to patent them ASAP and make and sell them (or have someone make them for you). They are AMAZING 😍 So perfect for small spaces!
Love all the storage added👏👏👏 The bedroom is beyond wonderful.🌈🌈 The kitchen is fabulous. The only change I might make is using folding chairs that could hang on the wall to free up more floor space around the dining table when not in use. Overall, what a great transformation❤❤❤❤
I mean this with the utmost respect because I love you guys! But, I feel like some plants would have brought in some green and really make the place feel alive!
Graham is a genius carpenter, his creations are always amazing and beautiful. I love how you transform the tiniest space into something beautiful and functional for the people who live in them, truly inspiring
I feel like it would be such a cute idea for the outlet covers to come with matching coloured screws or even a little nail polish bottle of the same colour to paint over your own screws
I absolutely love the attention y’all give to the small finishing details, like the silicone on the edges of the wallpaper backsplash. The quality of workmanship on your designs is incredible!
I’m blown away by what you’re able to do in these small spaces!!! I can’t believe how much stuff you bring in and the spaces look bigger! Kudos to team AG!
I love all your makeovers! One comment regarding the plastic storage bins over the kitchen cabinets... I think this would be a great opportunity to add wicker baskets or wire bins instead of plastic.
I love that the door is now the same color as the wall because it looks more like a window and less like oh my there’s another door in our kitchen, but your eye goes to the pendant light
There’s so much to look at in this makeover! You guys are amazing as always! And Graham should seriously consider opening his own line of woodwork products. I’d buy them in a heartbeat! ❤
This is absolutely lovely! Everything you did was beautiful and so functional. Literally the only change I’d make is, that Roman shade in the kitchen should be green like the one in the bedroom. I’m very partial to that shade of green specifically. You do beautiful work!
4 000 times is not enough. We all are also extremly Impressed! Their reaction...grateful,confused,overwhelmed,super happy. Fantastic job indeed !!! Really well done! 🥳👍🏻🥳
This is the best one yet! I also watch the Never Too Small channel, but they do weird stuff like have kids' rooms connected to parents' rooms with no doors. Or storage or space-saving "solutions" that require you to climb up on ladders or do lots of extra stuff. Alexandra always does things that make SENSE.
A well designed space changes the way you live your daily life ❤ It’s so valuable to feel comfortable in your space and have the functionality still be there. 🎉
It's a really nice makeover but I'm really blown away by the closet doors. The contrast between the tones and the effect of the hardwood stain, he is genuinely really good at designing.
I think this is the most outstanding makeover on this channel. I am amazed! Such tiny space hosting so many functions! And yes! The door and the nightstands are SO CREATIVE AND BEAUTIFUL!
I know I should have full trust in the team, but this was the first makeover I was like "I'm not seeing the vision," during the process, but the result was absolutely one of my favorites! Eclectic, warm, clean, cozy. Loved every single details. Great job y'all!
I love the makeovers! But I swear, every time they say "oh, the client has a lot of books" they are like "ok, here's something for 10 books, that's enough right? ". XD
@@annetidwell4807I once was talking about how much I love books , with a new friend .. he then mentioned that he reads a lot too and has lots of books . When I asked how many. He said probably 5 or 6....😢😢. So I get what you mean...Coz for me that's a number for one book haul😅😅😅
I remember one time AG did an office space for a professor and that was probably the only time I saw a space and thought "oh, okay, I guess that is plenty of books"
You really know how to turn a space into a home! It felt cozy and just so purposeful. If they felt lost I'm sure this space made them feel like they belong there and that all is well in life! You're amazing!
Overall, it was a great design with so much added storage. The folding closet door build was amazing; kudos to Grant. I think the 2 extra chairs in the kitchen are too big, folding chairs would've been better. There are some very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing folding chairs out there that could be hidden under the bed, possibly in the small closet, or hung on the inoperable door in the kitchen.
I agree with this. I wasn't a fan of the black touches either, especially from a couple that asked for color. Another thing I would add is some ceiling height simple curtains in the kitchen area to disguise the door. A panel on each side of the window/door, maybe in a matching green.
My favorite Saturdays are AG Saturdays

Yes, was thinking the same.
Yes shelves above the hutch for pantry storage!
I think folding chairs and some more cupboards above the existing kitchen ones would have been amazing
As soon as she showed them, I was googling for other options. There is a 5 in 1 nesting cube chair that I would have used. It gives 5 seats when needed, but doesn't leave the space so visually cluttered.
Omg was so happy to hear Taylor’s “Nice!” It’s been so long 😭
Welcome back, Alexandra! Hope you’ve been well because I’ve missed you!
It would be a chef’s kiss if you added two screws in the cover outlet kits in matching colours.
I thought the chairs were beautiful, but they were too big to fit under the table so they wouldn't be comfortable for dinner.
With the right folding chairs, those chairs can be tucked either side of the buffet.
Graham TRULY NEEDS HIS OWN SHOW
There is just something about these studio spaces - where you have to get so creative - that I just love! This whole apartment turned out so well!
The kitchen cabinets are gorgeous and Graham's closet doors are just perfect for the space!
GRAHAM! those doors are a masterpiece!
How amazing is Graham’s skills! Crazy! Blew me away! Love your ideas, so beautiful! Go Team AG!
omg those closet doors are you kidding? Graham is a GENIUS
Graham’s wooden bifold door and side tables creation is beautiful!!🤎
those sconces are the COOLEST thing I have ever seen!!!
This makeover was SOOO GOOD!! I love how the couple is bursting with joy 🥹
Alex and co you deserve 1MM viewers! Count down! You all rock.
I love that the door is now the same color as the wall because it looks more like a window and less like oh my there’s another door in our kitchen, but your eye goes to the pendant light
Those bedside tables should be added to your store. Genius design!
Wow this has to be my favourite ever. Neutral walls and furniture with pops of color 😍
What a transformation!! All the colors and storage. Beauty and function! Graham outdid himself with the closet door too. Well done, everyone! 👏👏👏
Mrs Gater, I have noticed that your decorating skills have really evolved, you are really doing some great work, especially in such tiny spaces
There’s so much to look at in this makeover! You guys are amazing as always!
And Graham should seriously consider opening his own line of woodwork products. I’d buy them in a heartbeat! ❤
And oh those doors Graham is a true gifted craftsman. The diligence, work execution oh just bloody brilliant❤
Love this. It always amazes me how you add things in, but make the small space more functional yet so much larger looking.
It must feel great to bring joy into folks’ lives with these makeovers. Kudos to the AG team!
A well designed space changes the way you live your daily life ❤ It’s so valuable to feel comfortable in your space and have the functionality still be there. 🎉
Every time you guys do a studio fix, you make me miss the cute little studio I had in my 20s!
It's a really nice makeover but I'm really blown away by the closet doors. The contrast between the tones and the effect of the hardwood stain, he is genuinely really good at designing.
Those tri-fold doors are a piece of art!
Missed the plants and the cute planters!! The ledge between the two spaces would be great for a succulent garden in varying heights!!
Those doors are unique. Graham is a rockstar!
I think this is the most outstanding makeover on this channel. I am amazed! Such tiny space hosting so many functions! And yes! The door and the nightstands are SO CREATIVE AND BEAUTIFUL!
Okay those side tables are adorable! You need to start a furniture line 😊👏🏼
@@bookish_vickie maybe he meant he reads 5 or 6 at once, like simultaneously 🤔😅
@@kiratchk probably 🤔
I remember one time AG did an office space for a professor and that was probably the only time I saw a space and thought "oh, okay, I guess that is plenty of books"
Sell some of Graham's wood word, his tables, bookcases, everything he makes is superb, he is truly talented.
Those closet doors built by Graham are absolutely beautiful!!!
You really know how to turn a space into a home! It felt cozy and just so purposeful. If they felt lost I'm sure this space made them feel like they belong there and that all is well in life! You're amazing!
Gram! The closet doors! The talent! WHOAH!
The pop light and sliding wall shelves blew my mind, such amazing solutions!! This was super cute, y'all never miss
Oh look, a video! Seems blimmin' aaaaggges since the last!
And hoorah! A studio makeover too- my favourite 😊
I love that when you do final touches you explain all the items you styled.
I agree. I also didn't think the backslash wallpaper went with their style
A tulip table would also give them more leg room. Right now the table legs and chair legs are taking up so much space.
@@michelepaccione8806The tulip table good idea 💡
@@alykeith1599 And why did they cut the wallpaper so it showed from behind the refrigerator?
The whole apartment is gorgeous, of course, but That Closet Door! Graham is the man!
