They're technically ok against zealots and shields in general,since shields take full damage from everything. Bio is a bit too fragile to fight Protoss though. Zerg doesn't really have any other light units for Firebats to fight outside of lings.
What a sad day for JyJ. This ASL could have been the greatest moment of his career. He was so close to beating Queen, then even closer to taking out Rush. That final game, for all intents and purposes, was over. Then 3 dropships were intercepted, and everything fell apart. Even Rush was probably laughing because he knew he had made an unbelievable come-back.
Wtf is artosis talking about man lol. 2 rax academy is a very standard rush build. Flash did it vs Effort in ASL finals. I guess artosis gets to decide what is a "real build" and Flash the best player in the world is doing F rank builds.... loool. Like what in the actual fuck is he on man.
So Tasteless spent literally years not playing the game from 2010 to like 2019. He only recently got back into the game because he was doing starcraft 2 for so long then wrist injuries kept him off the game. So his game knowledge is rudimentary and he has to rely on Artosis, who has been back to playing SC:BW since like 2016. Tasteless streams and you can see how rusty he is.
you can tell queen didn't prepare anything at all for this round. his loss to rush in the 2nd game was just dumb. are you seriously thinking you can beat terran with mass hydras ? lol. he also risked losing g3 very seriously, he got away with it just because he's 2 much better than rush but his strategy failed horribly there too. more focus moving on zero pls ! we expect a lot from the reigning champion
Hydras are a valid counter to mass Goliaths, with Mutalisk/Queen with broodlings support. It's just that Queen/Zero probably didn't expect JyJ to all-in like that. That scary mech push that killed him came at the cost of his economy. JyJ was on 2 bases all the time, if Queen managed to contain that big attack Terran wouldn't have been able to come back. It was a gamble on JyJ's part and Queen probably didn't scout enough.

Not at all. TvT is an interesting positional game, not unlike chess. It's not as dynamic as a ZvT, sure, but strategy-wise, it isn't boring at all.
