It feels so good to hear your pure experience when facing this kinds of challenges. Myself more of a single player than multiplayer find your content as one of the BEST in SC2 right now and RTS in general. I’ve been loving every video of the SC2 campaigns as they are one of my favorite trilogy out there with WC3 and Frozen Throne. I hope you read this comment and be happy you got a supporter for life by doing what you most like :)
Personally, I like seeing new bugs and exploits peppered into videos like this, so we can see how those bugs can be used to accomplish incredible feats under insane circumstances. I think a single video showcasing all the bugs in a row would remove some of the excitement. Maybe you could make a video highlighting bugs that are strategically useless, such as graphical glitches or dialogue errors. But if the bugs have value in a run like this, I’d rather see them in use, rather than staged just for a demonstration.
I would 100% watch a glitch video. Every time I’ve seen you cheese something in this videos, I’m always amazed. It’s like watching the protagonist just bs their way through the plot. I live it.
The way you get around challenges is youtube gold, truly. Its both fascinating and hilarious. Your videos have done a lot to keep me out of the depths of depression, and I sincerely thank you for all you do.
This was an incredible run! It scratched a similar itch a good speedrun does, the strats are incredible. Would love to see a video on all bugs and exploits found in the game
your last mission was one of my favourite Streams ever!!! I LOVE when a plan works out and seeing you plan and show of your big-brainery was actually entertaining. Good run on Salvation! (My dad(Sc1 boomer) is flabergasted by your content, he just couldnt belive it was possible to beat a production game without production xD)
I would love to see a bug/glitch showcase Also, it was really fun watching salvation live seeing it all come together, all the work that was put into it and being there when it finally worked out
Thank you for all the time you've spent tackling the seemingly impossible, looking forward to the next joy you share in endlessly reimagining of what you love
When I thought the enemy versus enemy is the interesting part of this playthrough, never could I imagine that using the pause and unpause in a defense mission could break the game. Nice one!
This channel teaches me so much about the game that I didn't know. Like how in the final mission your allies get better units and can benefit you if they are kept alive.
YES! Bug run! Cheese the world! Also just fantastic job on the final mission editing, showing us the notes all beforehand so we could pause and read them as they came was really nice. It wasnt spoilery either, and watching them play out was brilliant.
DEFINITELY interested in seeing bugs. These game breaks are so eye-opening to someone who struggled through LotV from lack of skill, trying bad unit combos... Then watching you literally beat those same missions without even making a single unit lmao.
Ok. 1 Amazing video. Very well done. And loved the cheese. 2 We love just about any video you make man. 3 That is to say YES WE WANT TO SEE YOU BREAK THIS GAME WITH ALL THE BUGS AND GLITCHES!
Huge fan of those optimization videos. I hope you still have some nice ideas for the sc2 campaigns. As a small suggestion, may I suggest civilization to you? The potential for optimization is enormous, and its very fun to optimize and think your way to a fast science victory for example, launching a spaceship before the year 0 BC.
I really enjoy your content and often simply listen to it in the background while I work on getting 100% in all the campaigns and mission packs. I was actually about to tackle The Host on hard in under 24 minutes (Hostbusters) when you showed how to break the triggers in your video! It made a lot of the pressure go away for what I thought was going to be a slog, ended up finishing it in 17 minutes because of that! Just wanted to say thanks for all the entertainment and the 200IQ strats and cheese!
That was absolutely incredible. I was sure this run was impossible, but you always find a way to make it "Technically possible" The best kind of possible.
I'm rewatching this video, and it's hit me that the sheer level of breaking the game is the same reason I love speedrunning. This is a measure of love of a game-spending all that time dissecting and studying it just to do something unintended. It's incredible.
Karax : "Artanis, all those statis chambers on the spear of adun ran out of juice long ago, Amon has taken control of almost all our forces, we have like 10 zealots, some stalkers, bout two ships and a really angry probe named Probius. We cannot win!" Artanis: "It's all gucci. We've got him surrounded."
19:40 you could've lead the nearby enemy zerg units to finish off the bonus objective for you (the way you did with the first mission in this video). if you watch the VoD, you can see people in twitch chat begging you to do just that!!
I personally would love a glitch and cheese showcase video or series of videos. There are so many little tricks that make difficult things easier, and you have a pretty good way of explaining things.
Holy shit wow. This was the one campaign I legit thought was impossible, and I was right… until you broke the game like a twig and warped reality to change the math. I wonder what that Solar Lance turbo cheese looked like, did Artanis just snap his fingers and turn off Amon’s forces like a light bulb? no epilogue is a bit sad, but tbh I don’t blame you. I don’t see Essence of Eternity being possible without building stuff. And I’m not fully sure if Kerrigan can solo Amon’s Fall like she could HoTS.
@@selectivepontification8766 Ah, thank you. I never knew how OP Kerrigan was until I saw this series. Kerrigan Drill did get me skeptical about if it could really handle EoE, but with how strong the drill was in WoL No Production, I can see it.
Amon realized that he can't actually do anything because he doesn't have his physical form yet. I mean, why would he wanta physical form if he was able to summon entire legions already?
The important thing to remember is that the number doesn't represent time, it represents how many zerg are on the planet. Therefore, I think what happened is that Artanis taunted Amon into sending more and more troops by constantly powering up the Spear of Adun's weapon systems without actually firing them.
"beating last stand with turbo cheese was the most gamebreaking thing i have done in a challenge run..." Me: yeah, that checks out. "...so far" Oh. Oh no
I mean, I love the narrative and gameplay from these videos. But the absolute best is the overlay text of units talking to each other. I have laughed so hard at those.
Once upon a time I wanted to see your 'Only Probe run' but even on Brutal, it would be too unfair to your poor enemies :( :-D Awesome as always. While 'The Host' was an exploit to me, not a cheese anymore... The whole idea of not building anything is so crazy that I'm almost at point of 'anything goes' anyway :)
bug exhibition videos are some of the best videos that exist, from an "enjoy the chaos" perspective, "learning how spaghettified games are" perspective, and a "know how a game i like works better" perspective.
Honestly, i think it would be really facinating to watch an edit of this challenge run's version of Salvation, where all the pausing and the like are removed, just the stuff on the ingame clock on an all successful run. See how the "canon" version played out.
Please make a bug compilation video, sounds like an amazing one to watch. Your amazing narrative ability + your insight as a challenge and speedrunner would make it an absolute blast to watch!

I live it.
I cannot begin to describe how impressed I am by the planning and attention to detail that got you through the Salvation mission
I would personally love to watch a bug showcase video. I love seeing the inner workings of games like this, and what causes issues to arise.
your last mission was one of my favourite Streams ever!!! I LOVE when a plan works out and seeing you plan and show of your big-brainery was actually entertaining. Good run on Salvation!
(My dad(Sc1 boomer) is flabergasted by your content, he just couldnt belive it was possible to beat a production game without production xD)
The way you narrate the history is amazing, seeing the archive and seeing the edited version are trully an experience!
I would love to see a bug/glitch showcase
Also, it was really fun watching salvation live seeing it all come together, all the work that was put into it and being there when it finally worked out
Thank you for all the time you've spent tackling the seemingly impossible,
looking forward to the next joy you share in endlessly reimagining of what you love
She's nice enough to rescue the prisoners and She Murders them that had me laughing
YES!
The boi actually committed to hamburger of oblivion lmfao
Bug showcase sounds good, always fun to watch different exploits during the challenge runs, I'm pretty sure people will be interested in these too.
That description is GOLD!!! We don't deserve you GGG, you're one in a million. Also, a video showcasing all the bugs would be so entertaining!
Very impressive, well done!
I would love to see a video on bugs. Also, good job, Grant! This, like all your challenge runs, is INCREDIBLE.
5 Probes really is the strongest army in SC2
*UNTHINKABLE!*
You presume we would not construct additional pylons like you are?
You have gone mad, Grant!
That's insane, mad respect for having done this
Impressive as always. I just can't warp my head around the challenges you can overcome.
GGG: Loses I single unit
Also GGG: "I lost a third of my army"
Technically 1 unit is 1/3rd of 3 so it’s trur
Ah yes, the no buildnrun. It's impossible but it's Blizzard's game. So it's possible to broken 😂
A bug showcase would be extra cool! There's something really fun about watching games fall apart in weird ways.
Karax : "Artanis, all those statis chambers on the spear of adun ran out of juice long ago, Amon has taken control of almost all our forces, we have like 10 zealots, some stalkers, bout two ships and a really angry probe named Probius. We cannot win!"
Artanis: "It's all gucci. We've got him surrounded."
Also the probe dies, given that Talandar can summon it during Co-op
Artanis: "We must cross the streams." **opens up a second firing interface while in the first**
Yes a bugs and glitch exhibition would be great to watch!
19:40
you could've lead the nearby enemy zerg units to finish off the bonus objective for you (the way you did with the first mission in this video).
if you watch the VoD, you can see people in twitch chat begging you to do just that!!
Epilogue is there in the video description; Kerrigan does carry both of those missions
This was super great to watch as it happened and the description is fun too
"beating last stand with turbo cheese was the most gamebreaking thing i have done in a challenge run..."
Me: yeah, that checks out.
"...so far"
Oh. Oh no
I’d be super interested in a big exabition video. The way speedrunners and challenge runners manipulate the game is fascinating
3 Zealots, "I end up losing third of my army". Well technically you're right
Amazing video! I watched the Vods of this, and was so happy to see you make an edited video from them! I would really like to see a glitch showcase!
I love you for this hilarious info text. Glad the upload finally finished! Keep on doing what you're doing.
I mean, I love the narrative and gameplay from these videos. But the absolute best is the overlay text of units talking to each other. I have laughed so hard at those.
I would love to see a bugs and glitches exhib, it's always a delight to see how people have figured out how to break a game wide open.
Once upon a time I wanted to see your 'Only Probe run' but even on Brutal, it would be too unfair to your poor enemies :( :-D
Awesome as always. While 'The Host' was an exploit to me, not a cheese anymore... The whole idea of not building anything is so crazy that I'm almost at point of 'anything goes' anyway :)
I would definitely love to see a bug compilations from you Grant. Can't wait for the video!
bug exhibition videos are some of the best videos that exist, from an "enjoy the chaos" perspective, "learning how spaghettified games are" perspective, and a "know how a game i like works better" perspective.
Honestly, i think it would be really facinating to watch an edit of this challenge run's version of Salvation, where all the pausing and the like are removed, just the stuff on the ingame clock on an all successful run.
See how the "canon" version played out.
You mean this? ua-cam.com/video/YgmiV1QFC80/v-deo.html
Please make a bug compilation video, sounds like an amazing one to watch. Your amazing narrative ability + your insight as a challenge and speedrunner would make it an absolute blast to watch!
