Some of the earlier conceptual designs, say pre 1950, were about as kerbal as it can get. Especially the USSR. Add more engines, axials, and props until it's stable.
Anyways, very well done as always.

These helicopters use modded rotors, so they’re definitely not stock. However, they are free to use.

What I’ve noticed through these videos is it takes decades to get something properly operational, but once it gets there, boy does it evolve FAST!

These helicopters used the infernal robotics mod, but it’s still not the breaking ground dlc, as he claimed. Anyone feeling bad that they are unable to make anything like this using stock should not despair, as these helicopters are not stock.

I'm questioning why this wasn't used in either of the world wars. And holy sh* your stuff deserves a lot more attention. People are about stock props and you're with stock Heicopters.
Aviation in general was seen as a pointless technology during much of WW1 and even twenty years later, vertical flight was still very problematic. Not sure how many helos use a piston engine anymore, if any, but I think the development of the turbine engine through the late war was the kick that needed to happen before the power to weight ratio gave them any sort of practicality.
I made them popular.

ну, вообщем-то ему респект, если бы не одно но - он использует TweakScale.Я могу даже с закрытыми глазами и только ногами автомат перекоса с TweakScale сделать, но отказался от этого мода (и модов вообще) и играю на полном стоке с момента выпуска 1.6 и до ныне, и тут как раз чтобы автомат перекоса сделать нужно обладать невероятной выдержкой и терпением. Типа нет, я не гоню на Гордона, он молодец, делает всё круто, красиво, лайки я ему ставлю за работу, но лично мне не заходит, так как я "топлю" за полный сток игры. Надеюсь, ты будешь солидарен со мной в чём-то

I don't know why we would ever need dual interlocking main rotors, but the fact that they did it is badass
you dont need back rotor thanks to it but it makes machine much more complex
Its is more stable and easier to manouver I belive although its super complex and expensive

This is impressive as hell. How did you build the swashplate? Do you have any build tutorials? Did you actually use the swashplate in later designs for prop pitch control? I've built lots of rotary winged aircraft in ksp, including some with jet powered rotors (though I had no idea that was ever done in RL). But all my designs are hideously slow and very difficult to control. How did you get them to move so fast? Or is the vid just sped up?
Also: Why no Blackhawk?
There are no swashplates here. The physics of the game is awful and I had to use a lot of loopholes and cheats to keep "flying" the crafts with 1% gravity.
Me- struggles to get off the ground and crashes all the time.
