11:00 I recommend unlocking all the Titles you can early on. Get enough, and you can quickly level your character up to lvl 5, just by apply titles.

As you had mentioned - the cross rate for legacy unlocks - mounting on the move is 2 million credits OR 300 cartel coins, a prime example of what you said! Also, extremely good video for anyone who hasn't quite reached legacy level 50 - lol.

4:29 how the hell do you do that how much abilities are u using
That’s the global cooldown you’re seeing. Most abilities are tied to a global cooldown so you can not spam them. This means she’s using one ability which triggers the global cooldown so all abilities without a personal cooldown will have that global cooldown/ GCD.
Most people say the experience unlocks aren't helpful, but I actually really like them because then you can level up to the really quick to 50-60+ level & be able to wear the really cool adaptive armor pieces as costumes.
So if you really like the costuming aspect of this game like me, the extra experience unlocks are great!
As far and is purchasing them, they're really cheap credits wise. Just do a ton of heroics on all the story plants with your major experience boost on and you'll earn so much money in no time at all! Plus, selling all your junk, weak armor, & weapons makes you creds really quick too!
Is it Just Me.! or do you guys also feel like when Swtorista talks and her voice reaches your ears it's like touching the most Expensive Silk.? great kudos for her vocal skills, really top notch.! ;-)
considering that, except for the 3 "Premium" races, every race can be unlocked if you level them up to a certain point, i can only advise to anyone who pays (or at least paid once) for a subscription, to create a character of every race for the sole purpose of unlocking the race.
i know, it's time consuming, and when the sub runs out you can only play like half your characters, but if your character only exists for unlocking a race, there shouldn't be too much of an attachment to keep them once the goal was reached, besides, any resources and credits you collected while leveling them can be placed in the legacy locker, so it's not a complete waste of time, and you save around 600 cartel coins per race and can use them for something else in the market.
there might be a better way, but if there is, i don't know about it.

+TrickyEye Gaming Hey Trick! Glad you like the videos. The camera rotate was very tricky. You can mimic it by facing the camera to your character then slowly dragging your mouse while clicking (I forget left or right) and dragging from left to right. I made this smoother by recording this action (the dragging part) with a macro. Then I editted the values so they were consistent horizontally instead of fluctuating like my hand would on a mouse, and replay the macro. Since it's only one key press -> one mouse movement as far as I can tell it's within the rules :) Unfortunately, I lost my macro file recently /facepalm

could I use a Level Boost Token to unlock a Legacy species that way, since it says you need Either a LV50 of that species, spend 300CC or with 1.5mil Credits? or do I need to be LV50 with 1.5 Mil credits?
I want to play a Sith miraluka. I was going to spend the CC to unlock it, but I have a free Lv65 Boost.
wasn't sure if that was almost a free work around.
I just don't want to waste the boost if that doesn't work.

You can toggle it on and off in your character panel where your equipment is

Then almost immediately learned that U to stronghold and Exit Area to Starship takes about 7 seconds longer and is absolutely free😂

Hello! There's two NA server, both physically in Virginia. Star forge is more populated, but Satele Shan is not unpopulated.

Technically, if you use a security key, you could save up cartel coins for 6 months and unlock any race. There are also achievements that give you cartel coins.

Whats the difference between buying Character Legacy and Account Legacy? Will I be able to buy Account Legacy with my second character(and will it be connected to character where I bought character Legacy)?
Character legacy is just for that character only.

Yep! Well most of it :) You get most things like shared datacrons, shared legacy bank, species unlocks, etc, but you may have a hard time getting some of the buyable perks since they cost too many credits and some are not purchaseable at all without cartel coins.

I've actually have three questions:I've played A LOT KOTOR 2(I love that game) and I would like to play a jedi Knight with two lightsabers.my questions are: 1-one of the my favorite abilities on KOTOR was jumping and hitting the enemy with the lightsaber at the ennd of that jump and the other was "lightsaber throwing" can I use those abilities on ToR with the jedi Knight that wields two lightsabers?the other question is can I make a jedi shadow,craft a double bladed lightsaber and give it to the jedi Knight using the legacy? the last question is :can I throw a double bladed ligthsaber at an enemy during combat?
I was just watching this video now and i was curious about something. Does the name change unlock apply to all characters (can use the name change to each character once per 30 days)? or once you buy the unlock on, for example, your sith warrior, you can use it only on him once per 30 days and that's it?
Hey there. If you buy a name change token you can use it one time for one character. It can only be used on one character, a single time, nothing about 30 days.

I think you're confused... there's multiple people who are a part of the Academy. It's part of a podcast - sometimes you hear the main hosts of the Ootinicast :)

So if I buy something in the legacy with one character, do all others benefit from it or do I have to buy it again with every character?
It really depends - some are character specific, others are legacy-wide.

Why are some of my legacy convenience items not showing up for all characters, though? I have legacy ship travel, for instance, which I bought with my Jedi Knight, but my level 75 sith warrior doesn't have it in the P menu with his other general abilities like fleet pass or quick travel. Where else would it be, and why wouldn't it be here?
Hello, I am a new player and I am F2P, I am lvl 54, and I only see the part of the achievements, the other sections are unlocked later? Or will I only see that part because I am F2P?

people probably already know this, but you can pass bound augments, mods and armorings through your legacy gear, it can get pricey so you might just want to save it for really good ones. You could also use legacy gear to make 3 sets for all your toons, Healing, Tanking and DPS. Kinda useful if you have alt-itis...
I would love to see Road to Max Legacy video. I know its rather endgame, but I would be great!

absolutely! there will be a little timer on the item for 2 days then you can mail it to your friends character!
I really only came here to find out how character unlocks work. I am new to the game and bought Cathar species in cartel market. However when I return to character creator, it's still locked. Can someone assist?
Hey Ginyu when you buy the unlock from the cartel market it becomes an item in your inventory. My guess is you need to check and see if you transferred it in to your inventory, then used it as an item first.

I found a datacron on Coruscant but figured it was some trade hub decor. Going back there right away!
The same reason u gave to get the companion legacy boost is why ppl get the exp boosts. to save time...

this might be a dumb question and you might answered this question before and i'm sorry for that BUT let's say i bought the quick travel for rishi ( WHICH i know it's for 1 char only ) and i paid by cartel coins so does this means it's going to be account-wide or legacy-wide or just for your char that you bought with ( or in another way oh so you don't want to waste your gold? sure use cartel coins then ) i hope it's clear since i moved from world of warcraft and still getting used to the new systems in SWTOR
Hi Sire. It really depends. You just have to read the popup that shows up when it asks you to purchase. I think that specific one is per-character it just gives you the option to pay cartel coins or credits.

CHARACTER PERKS are per character, there is a different page that is legacy-wide.

So I have a lvl 50 sith pureblood, how do i unlock the race for jedi class? After getting a level 10 legacy, must i still pay credits or CC to unlock the race for every single class?

Rocket Boost will be in your legacy panel under 'other'.
I usually just go to the GTN and search for armor then sort by price to find col new inexpensive sets :)

Strange, maybe this is a new thing, but i randomly get 4 class buffs at random times, even though i have not completed ANY of the class stories yet.

My first stronghold said 2.5mil credits. Did I miss something?
Different worlds cost different amounts. Drummond Kass, Coruscant, Nar Shaddaa and maybe a few more are in the couple thousand range, Yavin IV, Rishi, Alderaan and a few others and each a couple of mil.
Has the ability to share Legacy Armor collection changed?
I bought armor on Imperial side, tried claiming on Republic side & even tried placing armor in stronghold.
Says I don't have permission or bound to character
Not all armor is legacy armor.
If it says legacy armor on the tooltip, look and see if there's a timer. You need to wait for the timer to run out OR just put a mod in it :) I run in to this issue a lot.

So all my toons were automatically transferred to East Coast. Now learning the game from scratch. Last I played, cap was at 50.

when you say "all characters on the server" does that mean you can have multiple legacies?
No, sorry. I just use that phrase to replace "legacy" in the videos sometimes in case someone doesn't quite know what "legacy-wide" means yet.

Sort of.
If you gain something legacy-wide, it will usually be restricted to all the characters on the server you earned it on. So your characters on another server will not get it.
BUT if you transfer a character on the server that earned it to a DIFFERENT server, you bring it with you and will "copy" all your legacy perks to the characters on the new server!

Pretty much. Your legacy on different servers can have a different name but they're all "yours" and can be combined if you transfer.
