Thank you so much! Ok so I bought the Origin Deluxe package so guess I am going to keep rewatching this as a little bit more makes sense each time I watch it!
I've played SWTOR on and off for 3 years, and even i didn't know some of these things. I never knew the PVP introduction quest gave free relics and earpiece!
As a SWTOR player that has played for 3 years i'd say it's definitely worth playing. But if you believe it's free to play, you're gonna have a bad time.
Great video. Couple footnotes: Some Scavenging skills can enable shortcuts like opening doors/gates, calling elevators and shuttles (ie. Archeology, Scavenging, Slicing). And, unchecking Flashpoints may be best done AFTER collecting the daily/weekly bonus which requires all flashpoint be checked to qualify for them.
It's like you reached into my mind and answered all of the questions that my endless google searches could not. Thanks for this and all of your other videos!
It's been years since I played this game, but find myself wanting to get back into it. I've been watching your videos. I don't think I'll be as lost because of you.
If you have level 50 comp and are double DPS-ing. use your companion Quick Bar and let them initiate combat. They will draw the aggro and let you focus on your rotation. They will have a ridiculous amount of health compared to you. As SWTORista said, if they get down to 2% health after the fight, dismiss and recall or mount and unmount and they will have full health.
Brilliant content! i have returned after just over 3 years and was a noob beforehand so watching this guide has really helped me out a lot! looking forward to getting home from work and grinding some more now! on to watch some more! :-)
Thank you for taking the time to make something so thorough and helpful! Very thoughtful of you! I've been gone from the game for years but I'm returning soon, so this is a huge help for me :)
Thanks for all these great guides! I played the game for about year since it first came out in 2011 and have been since just waiting right time to jump back in. I think these guides are really helpful both to entirely new players, but also for us who have been away for years :D So thanks for making these and its great to see that the game's community is still alive and well :)
Great videos, I love them. I'm just returning to SWTOR after 3 years so it's a nice little refreshment. I wonder how much has changed... Rise of the Hutt Cartel was the newest at that time.
Welcome back to the game! A lot has changed, bit I think you learned a lot of the changes from part 1 of this video :) The biggest change is how you gear up at endgame now. When you reach 70, this video is going to be very useful to you ua-cam.com/video/2RUBgW0uFn8/v-deo.html
Super stoked! Me and my SW buddy played a lot of this when it first dropped and fell off... I figured the game died out and really wanted to play and just found it it’s still going! Installing now :) good vids btw
Merry Christmas Swtorista :) Making so many great easy to understand guides and having these sweet calming voice You're absolutely archangel of community. Much

I haven't played since 2016, but not gonna lie, I'm jumping back in thanks to the resurgence train by The Mandalorian and Fallen Order. I never finished the Bounty Hunter questline so now feels like as good a time as any to brush up on some basics and come back to the Old Republic
I like to point out that the skills trainers even tho they are not picked also give points just for visiting them. Or, pick up the skill quest and decline all, then go back and pick your 3/2/1 skills.
Merry Christmas Swtorista, and thanks for the nifty tips! Its also worth mentioning that for strongholds, you can get a wall safe that acts like a personal bank for a bargain of 15k credits from the security key vendor, particularly useful for non-subscribers!
I came back to this game after 8 years. Thanks for your content! How do you do all the cuts? So much effort to film the material fitting to what you say! Which program are you using for cutting?
+Swtorista Most likely reason? Because they want you to either 1. Get a subscripton. 2. Use dem real life monies. or 3. Both. Dont get me wrong, love the game. I just get extremely annoyed whenever games require you to pay for the full experience.
+Swtorista Alrighty. I still feel the limit on the amount of credits you can have until you pay real money is just plain greedy, though. Especially when it comes to buying new Strongholds. I would love to buy one, but they are all WAY above the credit limit. Im a preferred status player, btw.
@@ingemeretehansen9408 The fuck? I got a speeder and stronghold by lvl 15 easily. I wasn't even trying to go out of my way for them. Now I am a subscriber, but it's not like I earn more money than you
gotta disagree with not mixing dps and tank, for solo pve anyway. You need good endurance on a dps toon because you're gonna take hits from numerous npcs that your companion just won't be able to heal quick enough, you need good buffer for solo pve imo. All endgame dps toons I've seen on the character builder have endurance higher than mastery.
It’s interesting looking back at how the game used to be. I mean I started with Swtor back in its beta so all this stuff is stuff I remember but it’s all changed so much when I come back to it now in 2021, it also makes me wonder how much it will change as time goes by (assuming it last as it used to be unheard of for a MMO to last 10 years, heck Magic the Gathering didn’t even make it out of beta before it closed)
I have a few quick questions. 1: Can I have more than one follower with me, and if so, how many? 2: Can I switch sides from Republic to Imperial? 3: Should I subscribe right away or wait until level 50? 4: Does preferred offer more racial options? 5: Do I keep the races available to a subbed player if I unsubscribe?
1. Just 1 at a time but you get more to choose from over time 2. No sadly 3. Really depends, here's my advice www.reddit.com/r/swtor/wiki/subscriber#wiki_should_i_subscribe_to_swtor.3F 4. No, but being subscribed does, and you can continue playing any characters you created after you unsub - but new characters you make will have the old restrictions unless you full unlocked them
My advice is if you like it suscribe for 2/1 months for the expansions and you will unlock perks with preferred status(make your alien characters before your subscription expires) and keep most perks (buying from the cartel market unlocks preferred status too but I think its better to unlock the expansions)
Swtorista you present amazing and well informed content with a super sweet voice that is easy on the ears. It's amazing how much you have contributed to this community while being so damn cute.
Preparing for a return to catch up on story i missed last couple of years. Never got into the end game stuff but always have to come back for the various story grinds. Now with Disney this really is the last good Star Wars we are going to get. Maybe now my smoke effect lightsabers will be a rarity to see. This really is a great game on the whole.
New players will want to get all of their crafting skills leveled up....eventually, get some bind to legacy gear, and eventually create a set of gear minus implants, ear pieces, and relics, in eight level increments so they don't have to worry about a gear grind for every character since the got rid of str, will, and the other class specific stats and replaced them with mastery.
@@Swtorista Thanks!!! I would also say hold on to all of your bind on legacy stuff, plus the armoring, mods, and enhancements you get from ops so you can pass them down to alts.
Great videos. I've been playing for about 6 months and barely scratched the surface of what you can do in game. One question I haven't fount the answer to yet and that is how to acquire or craft augment kits and augments. Do you cover that in any of your videos?
I don't really have a guide on it sorry. But you can craft quite a few augments straight from the crew skills trainer as you become a higher crafting level. same with the kits. or the gtn.

I never had been able to get the duster, maybe once. But mostly lately it has been decorations. Which is fine but it would be nice to get armor. I also noticed the story mode FP lately has been really bad at doing decent drops. The last time I did Esseles I think I got one or two clothing drops and they were the same thing. I got better stuff from the heroics, but you can do them solo only so far. Before each planet gets harder to do. But the vet version's of the fp's are better well unless you are preferred or ftp (still locked behind the artifact issue)
I have a quick question. I’ve played this game to a decent level and find now that I’m stuck because I can get Barsen’Thor’s Legacy to start. I can’t get good answers from anywhere. Do you or anyone know what I should do? It says I can’t finish my arc story until completed. Help
