"Solar Guitar from that youtuber guy Rob Chapman" with a photo of Rob Scallon and it's actually Ola Englund and then a photo of Rob Zombie, this whole scene got me in tears
My second ever guitar I picked out a month after getting gifted a Epiphone Les Paul Jr. as a starter to guitar, was an LTD Patriot with a Floyd Rose. No regrets, I love the whammy action, its super fun to add into my little quaint chord practice sessions and go "wuahwuahwuahwuahwuah" at the end. If you like a specific piece of gear, and really want it, just get it, and learn to use it. It took me a few days to understand what I was doing wrong tuning a Floyd Rose, but once I caught my mistake I found that you can tune Floyd Roses in under 5 minutes given you know the method (balanced tuning, quick bridge block etc)
In my non-existent future I will tell how I, an Inquisition lover, discovered a young boy named Frank playing a Fernandes Vortex and how this magnificent vision led me to buy one.
I bought a black 6 string LTD v-300 from (i think) musicians friend back in 2012-ish for $470, it was sold as a "demo" but came emaculate. I love that thing Also: E Standard for the win. If it was good enough for Judas Priest, it's good enough for me 🤘

Yes! D standard is the shit. Speaking as a former beginner, I agree with your spicy take. I played a lot in drop D until I discovered D standard but I play mostly acoustic these days so what do I know.
Well, it's a pretty tiny collection compared to guitar lovers like Jamie Slays for example 😁 I just "try" to have one specific guitar for a certain tuning, so I don't have to change strings that often. But yes, if you compare it to Bradley Hall or Rudy Ayoub, I own a lot of guitars. And after all a new/different guitar always brings new/different inspiration. At least to me.
Major props from one "cheap" guitar fan to another, you've got a sweet arsenal, Farvann... btw, I absolutely love the way your Squier sounds! Now, for a gear geek question: when you play out live, do you run through a specific amp, just grind away through whatever crap the venue provides and get your desired raunch and dirt from a pedalboard, or use a modeller through the PA? And which gear do you use, either way? 🤘😈
I'm surprised there are so few guitars. I like the solar ones the most. Play a Hagstrom myself, yours would have to have splittable Hagstrom custom pickups.
Thanks for the guitar Tour. Would have been nice if you played one or two riffs on each🎸🔥🤘 that Dean ML is still painful to look at💔😭 the 'Surströmming' also was a great choice in your entry of the 'Schrott Collab' 😆
Heh my friend that on Squire is standard tremolo and it's not bitch to restring or tune ^ Only one guitar that i have is FR and it's a bitch to restring or tune but i am in process of getting a another guitar a headless one ^ Btw that Dean looks amazing, shame it's broken.. :/
very nice collection. I like the Solar and the last guitar wich sounds like that rotten fish meal from Sweden the most. Selling that Jackson Dinky was a bit of a shame tho ;)
5:03 Did I hear it right, Musik Haus Köln? I was once recommended to at least have a visit to this legendary store. But I tried to google it and was unable to find a place with exactly that name. And now also cannot find. Where is that place?
You are correct about the tuning pegs. 🙂 If you ever felt like doing a similar video about your amps, that would be cool. Unless you only have one real amp; then it would turn into a comedy video pretty quickly. 😀
Shitty guitars are useful, you can go crazy and destroy them at the end of a show without impacting too much on a budget : i got this advice from a punk actuary ;)
Talking about the Ibanez: "Doesn't stay in tune very well." -*strings wrapped around the wrong side of the tuner* Sorry bro love you but it triggered my ocd
@@Farvann Ohh no, that's even worse 🤣, interesting to see someone like you who's not a gear nerd like me, but that's very unusual from a guitar tech, maybe he has a reason for, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, I swear the ppl working in guitar stores often have some strong opinions about things that sometimes don't make any sense. On a sidenote, I'd try wrapping the strings around the inside of the tuners next time you change strings, and lube your nut (haha funny) if you still experience tuning issues.
2:37 He really didn't lie when he said, he is not a gear head.
That's not a Floyd Rose
😂

other youtubers: starting the video after a good 5 minutes of intro and a sponsorship
farvann:
The squier has a regular tremolo not a floyd rose, those lock the string down at the nut.
The Fernandes looks great

Damn, those transitions between guitars were fucking clean!
that ibanez was my first guitar. it is so good except the pickups. replace the bridge pickup and its a beast
It would be cool if you make another video with comparing sounds of all your guitars
That's Ola Englund content where everything sounds the same 😂
I want to hear the sound of these beautiful guitars!!! Respect from Russia!!!

Great gear, Farvann! by the way i have the same white fernandes vortex and i am quite happy with this guitar!
The solar is just incredible 🙏 the shape and sound is perfect
Really Cool set of guitars! 🤤🤤🤤 Thanks for sharing Farvan.
Cheers.

If black sabbath can play in C# standard i can play in C# standard (its a joke, lol because in my band i play in C# standard wow so funny)
2:22 I spoke with Mgła member (he is working with one of guitar stores in my city) and rec few albums on Telecaster. So...
I love the white strat and Fernandes, always have been my favorite of the ones you own
With great guitars comes great responsibility.

I'm surprised. Shown one after the other, it is noticeable that you actually have quite a lot of guitars.
Nice video and have a nice trip!

that Solar looks damn good!
I was watching a bunch videos last night and started to wonder about your guitars. This came at a perfect time. Great stuff, thanks!🤘

People hate on the white squire for black metal but Infernus used a white Gibson Flying V for the gorgoroth live in Poland show 2004!
Taake use the white Flying V as well

Single Coils are actually often superior for Black Metal, even though everyone recommends Humbuckers. There you also have a nicely sharp sound.
Yeah I like gear :)

Hi farvann i hope you have a nice day
Can you make Trist(dsbm) tutorial? if its possible
Nice collection. Did you have to make any changes to get the downtuning to work (thicker strings/filed nut)?
Only thicker strings, that's it

Musikhaus Korn
I have had bad experiences with the (mail-order) dealer from Cologne, with professional in the name.
Schönen Urlaub. / Have a nice holiday.
Johnnson?! My first guitar was the strat!
Is that "cheap" Ibanez an RG421? If so - Thats my main guitar and I fully agree with the does not stay in tune well !🙈
Please make a how to xasthur tutorial
hey! behs is not boring at all!
That was a joke!
@@Farvann yeah yeah...
Really nice!
What happened to that BC-rich Bronze guitar you used in the DSBM video?
Oh I totally forgot about that! I sold it on eBay
@@Farvann Okay.
What are the specs you *do* look at when you buy guitars? 🤔
(Besides "shape" and "will people make stupid comments about it". 😀)
- Tuning pegs (cheap ones aren't fun)
- Pickups
- Bridge
- Where the volume and tone knobs are
You are correct about the tuning pegs. 🙂

i have the same ibanez model!!
This ML can be fixed, and it is not a hard thing to fix, please do fix it up!!!
Did you ever tried Fernandes vortex elite?
Die Ltd ist richtig heiss😏
2:37 thats not a floyd rose on your squier just a basic tremolo
Solar Guitars is youtuber Ola Englund's company.
Please don't tell me you didn't get the joke
...ha ha ha...😂
Nice Solar guitar
what your grindcore band called?
Question about durbatuluk. Can you buy durbatuluk merchandise with different currencies?
Yes
Dude! You would look so awesome with only a mustach🙊😉
There's a picture of that on Instagram
Have you ever been into darken nocturn slaughter kult ?
I am a bit late for the party I guess but bro... How do you manage to restring and set-up the Ever Tune on the Solar...
Mehr solche Videos !
Jeez I think you accidentally guessed Fernandez would go bankrupt.
I guess 😅
You know that the Fernandes is the ESP brand for the Japanese local market, right?
I don't think that's true
I use my Guitars often when I playing the guitar. And they are all black... Naja except the acoustic one
I use my guitars when playing guitar as well. Twinsies
W Guitars
hast du die saiten bei der ibanez bei den tunern nach außen/oben gewickelt? kein wunder, dass die nicht in stimmung bleibt :D
Grindcore-Gitarre braucht Amateur-Tuning! :D
You play guitar? Are you telling me you have a band too? Or even a Black Metal solo project with a stupid name like Durbatuluk?? Damn, I never knew
Have a nice day being a keyboard warrior in your mum's basement
He even has 4 dumb ass UA-cam channels
u dont know much 😢
It's not floyd rose!!!!11 >;-[[[

bro i tune my ibanez once every 2 weeks even if i dont have to i still check like every 2 weeks max
sad bassists noises 🥲
Although you have all those guitars, Farvann, you still use a white guitar for black metal. In all seriousness… it only matters if your on stage.
what did u do to dat broken guitar 😡
Watch the video
@@Farvann ok
Please fix that Dean, i beg if you! The damage reminder will always be there, but then you can play it again.🤘
