- I had to react to another Slipknot song. I couldn't just react to 'Wait and Bleed' and stop there. These guys from what I have heard so far have been showing me music that I really don't think I have heard before. I NEED more Slipknot so If you have any more suggestions please throw them into the comment section and I will be sure to get to them!

The Drummer is Joey Jordison, who has unfortunately passed away, as well as Bass player Paul Gray.
also one of the best drummers in history
Watch his drum cam videos!! They’re insane!
@@trishteixeira2108 yeah its like he has 8 limbs or something. He badically changed drumming forever
Then a talented drummer Jay Weinburg? Might of butchered the last name, he joined n carried them for a while before being kicked 😅
@@GodsTerrorist its weinberg, but yeah he played with them for 10 years, at least 2 times won a metal drummer of the and then got kicked out on a phone call
Joey's speed and transitions are unique and will forever be
and yeah yeah of course insane double kick
Spit it out live at download 2009 🔥🔥🔥
"If i could marry music, i would." Awesome comment!
But about 49% of marriages end in divorce sooooooooo.......
“Music sweet music, I wish I could caress…” Jimi Hendrix
Absolutely!
My feelings exactly!!
better than i wife is it for sure....
I’m 65 and found the early Slipknot about six months ago. Hell yes!!
Never to old to rock
Luckily my boys introduced me to slipknot about 10 years or so ago.
I am 52 and I was turned on to Slipknot only about 5 years ago! My mind is more open to new shit now that I'm older AND IT WASNT EVEN NEW! LOL!
you have to try system of a down
Sic
Eyeless
Duality
Psychosocial
Left Behind
The Heretic Anthem
The Blister Exists
Sulfur
The Dying Song
Just off the top of my head but any of these would be great to see🤘
Killpop
Spit it Out live at Download
Devil and I
The blister and sulfur are right up there
People = Shit, Disasterpiece, My Abortion, Scissors.
The drummer is one of the most amazing drummers in the universe Rip Jowy Jordason
Joey Jordison was the drummer at that time. He left the group before he unfortunately passed away... RIP
He also wrote most of the riffs. Badass
SPIT IT OUT live at download
Joey Jordinson was one of the best!!!RIP Joey!!!!
Sulfur is a banging tune but overlooked by most reactors.
Sick riffs, total banger!
100%
So many maggots (the official name of Slipknot fans) wanted them to do a video with them not wearing their masks, so they did. Now do Psychosocial and Spit it Out, live from the Download Festival... 09 I believe.
Corey does solo work and is the lead singer for Stone Sour.
This song got me into Slipknot's music, back in 2007. Time flies so fast ..
Megadeth “Angry Again”
And “Symphony of Destruction”
@@trejosworld i think he did that one already
Watching Joey play was a form of art. He sadly died about 4 years ago. Maybe 5. Lost track of time with everything going on. But watch Joey go into the studio at night by himself, practicing. . He was so so good imo
2021
This is the chopped down version. Still sick as hell. Joey was one of the best & most creative metal drummers period, that's why the drums stick out to you 🤘🤘 R.I.P. Joey & Paul
This video came out right before they revealed their faces for the first time.
You'll notice all their masks are hanging in the background and they're only slightly showing their faces.
It was somewhat of a "teaser" before they revealed themselves for the first time in Rolling Stone magazine.
Duality is the necessary next step for you
Tell me you didn't watch this video before commenting without telling me...
Seriously you need to go to a slipknot concert to get the whole experience...love joey may his dear soul rest in peace 🙏
Eyeless is required
Spit it out will blow your mind. And he raps😊
We have to get you on the Iron Maiden train… insane riffs that would give you goosebumps!
And TOOL.. soon.. plus Primus.😮😂
I'm with you all the way Iron Maiden was and is one of my favorites and very dear to my heart! That's the thing with these bands, right. After being a huge fan after all these years you kinda feel like their family
I meant "they're"
Welcome newest Maggot!! We are a huge Family. Mad love from Oklahoma brother!
Great reaction ❤❤❤ If you get a chance to react to Snuff and then Corey Taylor's acoustic version together, that'd be dope! I'm a big Slipknot fan and I'm from Des Moines, IA Slipknot's hometown. Also my husband is in the video for Duality, with his buddy, they're sitting on the roof of the garage, just for a moment, but it counts 😂
This is one of the best songs they’ve ever done
Slipknot have been around since the mid 90's. Them and bands like Snot and Mushroomhead and Incubus kind of spawned from Faith No More's Angel Dust album and Mr. Bungle's Self Titled album
Hip Hop Fans love to react to Slipknot.
Joey Jordison was like the heaviest marching band drummer ever. 💔❤️
Got this one in my mp3 player playlist. Yep, I still got an mp3 player. I also still got a discman and a walkman. Not that I still use the last 2, but I can't throw them away! lol. Now Slipknot. A lot of people see the masks and before listening to their music, they decide it's not for them. They're missing out.
Jim Root plays in Stone Sour as well.
His guitars and Cory's lyrics are just as amazing
Duality...just do it! Thanks for the vid. Just watched this again and had to comment as music does the same things to me; hairs stand up, I tear up at times...I really feel the music just like you do.
Love seeing you react to all the stuff I grew up with. I’ve mentioned it before, but Momento Mori by Lamb of God. It will slap you in the face more than any video you have reacted to so far.
RIP Paul
RIP Joey
Two of the greatest lost way too soon
Overwhelmed by emotions 30 seconds into the song, this guy gets it. That's what makes music beautiful, it makes us feel things, sometimes unexpectedly. Fucking love it man.
*FALLING IN REVERSE - WATCH THE WORLD BURN* - This will fuck you up big time and The band might react to your reaction - Ronnie does that a lot! Their videos also are never blocked or claimed at all! This song is insane in his delivery of the vocals and the video is literally like a bloody film!
the genius of this video is that they still had full anonymity at that point and they are actually not wearing their masks…yet, you still don’t actually see them. you only get teased. this song is one of my top 5 Slipknot songs, but this has always been my favorite video of theirs.
This clip was such a tease back in the day because it was the closest to see their faces
This is later era style Slipknot. After their debut major label album on IOWA, they started using a lot more radio friendly riffs and pop hooks. They were on Slipknot Self Titled as well just peppered in a lot more randomly and less. The first debut album is dark as hell and lo-fi. The drums sound evil as hell on it
Spit it out live is a must watch
I saw them LIVE and I was blown away that they were able to REPRODUCE THAT STUDIO SOUND, "LIVE" but they did, and they BLEW ME AND EVERYONE THERE AWAY!!!
Definitely Spit It Out by Slipknot live at Download 2009 (UK festival near Derby, 80k people). Rapping and insane live show, Joey on the drums is mad, you'll love it!
The drums in solway firth and Nero forte will get you hyped.
This sounds inspirational from slipknot
If you want.too hear Corey Taylor singing more than screaming check out his other band Stone Sour. Got some really good heavy songs
You will love this whole album
Finally! This is the first reaction ive seen that has called out the vocal inflection towards the end. I dont know why, but its my favorite part of the song too.
Spit it out live at download is face melting
I love your reactions to these videos. What I will say about Slipknot, as much as I love the guitars and vocals, what always gets me is the percussion, it is superb.
I'm a drummer. Music makes me cry all the time. All good my man.
Slipknot has the best drummer ever RIP and the most talented guitarists I love this band they are so raw
It's such a joy to watch your reactions to heavy metal because I CAN TELL THAT it is really changing your perceptions! It brings me back to being a 15 year old, laying on my bed stoned, listening to Metallica on cassette Imagine..there wasn't anything like it back in 1984. We had nothing to reference to or compare. It was during the beginnings of the Bay Area heavy music scene. None of this stuff got airplay,it was all underground. In my late teens I met Ron Quintana. A San francisco DJ who gave Metallica their name and is still friends with them to this day. As a grown woman (now 52 yrs old) I met the founder of Testament one of the Bay Areas BIG FOUR and he opened my eyes to a lot more music I had to really listened to. The beautiful thing about metal is not only does it make your spirit soar, giving the feels in all sorts of uncommon ways. But it is ever evolving. Your in for a lifetime of discovery with this genre. I can't explain how excited I am for you! Welcome to the club buddy! We are tight knit and can recognize each other and I'm pretty sure I recognize you! MUCH LOVE❤❤ 🤘yaaaaarrr!
This came out in 2003. This is high school for me. this is when they stopped being just Nu-Metal and became a part of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal. I'm talking about bands like Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God, Shadows Fall, Avenged Sevenfold, and hundreds of others who mixed death metal, thrash, melodeath, groove, nu metal, and hardcore. The album after this is pure NWOAHM. This is my friend's favorite Slipknot album because they cuss the least on it. Lol. Now go listen to the other single hit on the album.. Duality.
YESSSSS LETS GOOOOO
That was awesome! It's been awhile since I've heard this. Slipknot doesn't have names, they have numbers
Bruv, must do Disasterpiece and People = Shit, both live videos from their London concert. Absolutely farkin ridiculous. Your jaw will drop. Pure musical chaotic wizardry.
Believe me in the pit in front of those SUBS at a Slipknot concert feeling your guts move inside of you almost making you nauseous WAS PRICELESS. RIP JOEY LOVE YOU MY FRIEND
Megadeth,ashes un your mouth,real heavy song,very good.👌🏼
this song goes crazy
It’s not just one drummer there are literally 3 or 4 percussionists. Well, there were they keep firing people. Check out Eyeless, Duality & Psychosocial
When this song came out there were two percussionists and a drummer and a DJ that added percussion and also a sound designer and keyboardist who added a lot of textural elements that were related to the rhythm section. Slipknot's Self Titled album showcased it perfectly. The drum parts and extra electronic stuff on that album is absolutely legendary
@@neilpatrickhairless bro, Sid is the the absolute BOMB he’s added so much subtlety to these songs that if it weren’t for Rick Beato I never would have noticed. As for the # of percussionists, the drummer counts too so I was kinda trying to included them all while leaving room for fluctuation, I hope that makes sense. The funny thing is I had Zero interest in Slipknot when they first came out I was still headlong into Metallica & they were at one of the Ozzfests while was doing a Marine Corps Combined Arms Exercises at 29 Palms in CA & I had buddy who had a press pass & took pics of them but, I just ignored them back in 1999. It wasn’t until I had heard Duality shortly before I left for Iraq that I picked up that album Vol 3 Subliminal Verses & it, Mudvayne, Slayer & Metallica got me through the hell that was the Triangle of Death that I fell in love with Slipknot.
This is one of my favorite SLIPKNOT songs 🎵
In my personal, and professional opinion, this is a top 5 Slipknot song.
Drummer was Joey Jordison, the best ever imho. RIP Joey.
Keep up the good work bud!
Been listening to them since they began, they still make me tear up & get goosebumps! Welcome to the nu-metal scene mate!
The Devil in I live by these guys is amazing. Corey Taylor does a solo acoustic version of Snuff that’s pure fire as well.
There's so much Pantera in this I love it.
That opening riff is awesome. 🤘🤘 Wish they would have played it longer. All in all i really enjoyed this tune.
Brooo reacciona a todas las canciones ❤❤❤ son increibles, preferiblemente en lives no decepcionan,te amo.
You MUST listen to the first 2 tracks on this album. Start with Prelude 3.0 and let your mind explode when The Blister Exists comes on. 🤯
My eyes tear up when I listen to music sometimes too. It’s a sign that you are genuinely moved by what you’re hearing. That’s why I’m enjoying your metal reactions. I get to see that joy punch you in the face. 🤣 Getcha pull. 🤘
R. I. P Joey jordison, thank you bro 🤘🤘🌹
Oh hell yeah.
Interesting fact when listening to slipknot. Jim Root's guitar is heard on your left side of your headphones while Mick Thomson's guitar is heard in the right side🤘 😆
Stone Sour is Corey’s other band, they do a great tune called “30-30-150” it’s a banger.
Said it before. Will say it again. Love your journey bruv.
Much appreciated
@MollyBoyTV Yo, I'm beginning to enjoy this slipknot heavy metal, grunge rock music or scream rock.
So duality and this song are off their third album. Wait and bleed was their first album. Vol 3 is a very polished album filled with tons of nice riffs and a good balance between clean & hard vocals
Once again I'm suggesting the song, "Killpop". Love has never felt so decadent and darkly beautiful.
watch their live shows and witness absolute MADNESS
All out life. Psychosocial. Great live band.
I love slipknot❤
A couple things that you touched on. One, Corey Taylor is correct, he is the lead vocalist. He had another band, Stone Sour, their music is pretty awesome as well. He also has two solo albums and has done collaborations with several other bands. Two, the drums, as already mentioned in the comments, Joey Jordison was the drummer at this time and he was phenomenal! RIP Joey! But another thing to know is that there are two additional percussionists in the band that play a variety of drums and "drum like objects", from standing toms, to kettle drums, to banging on beer kegs with baseball bats. The combined sounds are amazing and unique! Love the reactions! Keep diving deeper! Suggestions - Surfacing, Sulfer, Killpop, AOV, Nero Forte!
Also yes Corey has another ban called stone sour the song i can think of is looking at you through the glass
One of my favorite Slipknot songs thats a big underrated it seems is Left Behind
I loved this reaction, and I love when new people get into Slipknot! I'd recommend that you react to either Spit it out live Download 2009 or Psychosocial.🤘🔥
I recommend literally anything by Static-X. My personal suggestions are “I’m With Stupid”, “I’m The One”, “This Is Not”, and “Wisconsin Death Trip”
Joey (R.I.P) was a great drummer. He and a number of drummers jumped in and saved the day when Lars from Metallica took ill when they headlined download festival 2004.
Maybe check out a live song from that.
Joey is the greatest metal drummer of all time . The king of innovation
That’s hilarious
Dude, I tear up to music all the time! To some heavy shit too… Lorna Shore has had my full on crying with a bunch of their songs (not just the trilogy for those who know, but yes, that’s included). Music is a powerful being, that’s a universal language. It’s incredible
Good stuff ,,i’m a big fan of their first album
Oh hell yeah!!! This is a banger for sure. Love it bro!!
That skip across the notes at the end is one of my favourite things in life too
Solway Firth and Not Long for This World have become 2 of my favorites even even though I prefer their older stuff.
The Devil in I is a must.
The music video is sort of.. less is more. Back when this came out, the band weren't nearly as recognisable without their masks as they are now. The masks still held them in mystery, alongside the artistic reasons why they wore them. A lot more emphasis was put on their anonymity. So the video showing them performing without the masks on hit a bit different back in that day.
Killer song for all time though, for real.
Glad you're vibing with Slipknot dude, it's a hell of a a kickass rabbit hole to go down.
Megadeth she wolf live
Surfacing, Iowa, Disasterpiece are great tracks
RIP. Paul and Joey 😭
Spit it out live 2009!
The Devil in I live version Knotfest!!
You have to see those!!!
Corey Taylor IS the lead singer yes and he also has his own Solo stuff which is very different to anything else, but he is also the lead singer of Stone Sour who also share the same guitarist with Slipknot in Jim Root
I love Slipknot! My personal favorite is Nero Forte. They have so many that are fire. The Devil in I video will throw you for a loop
Bro! I know I’ve reacted to a couple of your Pantera videos but you GOTTA do some Lamb of God!! “Faded Line” pretty please lol!! I’ve really enjoyed watching you become a metal fan. Not only that, but you’re breakin in on the shit that made me a metal head to begin with. 🤘🏻🤘🏻 you do Faded Line and I WILL donate!! Keep diggin dude! You’re makin me feel young again😂
Not since the likes of Buddy Rich and Gene Krupa has any one drummer had such an incredible impact on drums, R.I.P. Joey Jordison, he inspired so many of the great modern rock and metal drummers you hear today
