I’m little bit curious to see why you’d select one motor type over the other. How about the x27 motors? Are they too week or to large for this project?
I didn't, I found the files online :) I redesigned this for X27 and will show it in a future video The servos do have automatic positioning though which is nice!
Cap, a little confused about the 3D Build. I plan on building 2 of these. I know I will need for each of them 2 s90’s, 1 Background plate, 1 base bracket, 1 Bezel, 1 chanfer, 1 ring, 2 servo horns, 2 white needles, and 18-gauge wire. Confusion is that more than one bezel is listed - a 54mm bezel and a and an external bezel. Which do I need to print?
I need to start with something simple for which I can use my X27 168 stepper motor. My 3d printer will take care of the housing and I have some experience with graphics software but do not have photoshop.
Hello Everyone! I did not make this very clear, but I did not design these files. The author is here: www.thingiverse.com/alvaroalea/designs Have a great day!
Your videos never fail to amaze me Cap, can’t wait to see the finished product!
Thank you! I can't wait either! 😀
Thanks Capt. You are my hero.
Bob, your my inspiration for my simulator. Keep being Bob my bobtastic best friend
Thanks so much! Wilco, and have a fantabulous day!
Great job Bob
Thank you Marvin!

Hey there Capt I looked for those servos on ebay and they do not list those any longer. You recommend anything else for the replacements?
The Blue Micro Servo (9g) are standard and any should work.
Just make sure it doesn't say "continuous"
Can't stop laughing at "bayzul/beezul"....
Basil/beezul/baysul/bezel take your pick 😂
Awesome work. Very Easy. Congratulations.
Thank you!
Good job on the background images.
Thank you!

It is up to personal preference (The size of the hole)
You could do a test print if needed, or put it into a CAD program.
@@CaptainBobSim Thanks. Will do.
Yours vidoes are amaizing, good job
Thank you so much 😀 I'm glad you like them!
Yeeees its very simply the form that you explain everithing, i Will build mine simulator thanks to you
Captain please do not forget to teach me about hobbs meter and how to make trim wheel connected to auto pilot
I put these both on my list of videos to do in the future, so I won't forget.
Nice vid 👍
Thanks!
What can I get in the way of help to build 8 primary flight instruments if I join with the $20.00 option?
Hi Kaellis! I can provide some guidance in your process. Unfortunately I have limited capabilities during the school year,.
I need to start with something simple for which I can use my X27 168 stepper motor. My 3d printer will take care of the housing and I have some experience with graphics software but do not have photoshop.
Hello @@kaellis8250 Shoot me an email at CaptainBobSim@gmail.com - I might have some beta files
Can you show some video of your panel in operation?
I'll have to do that 😀 I just got another arduino, so now I can program all of the instruments at one :)

The camera quality is a bit weird
I agree, I'm trying out new camera settings, and new lighting. It will take quite a bit of bad lighting to make good lighting 😂😁
I love u my little brother
Thanks!
