- This video was created back in Brunei before our move back to the UK. I was supposed to release a video every 2 weeks, but the hard drive got packed in the shipping container. I created 12 videos in all for our move. I just need to edit and release them.
A massive Thank You to Sebi Woelke for the Intro and Logo!

I love the way you've put it together!
Thank you, I'm now looking forward to building the rest of this sim
I want to get started with this for my motion sim. Awesome. Thanks Karl !
Hope things literally take off for you mate , there's obviously a market and you certainly have the skill and aptitude to make this a success 👍
Hi Mick, it's just a hobby, but I do enjoy the design and build part of it. At least this sim can be moved easily when we have to move.
Looking forward to the rest of the videos! I’m currently building a new 172 panel using a mixture of your designs and my own! I’d recommend your designs to anyone, easy to print and with great documentation!
Now, if we could just get the NXi working over a web server like the FBW MCDU, I could run mine with a pair of Raspberry pi rather than having to put more strain on my already hammered GPU!
Hi Alex, thank you for the kind words. The problem. I'm going to face with the other videos, is that the sim was almost finished, and the new videos will show that. But the very next day, it was dismantled and destroyed back to its basic parts.
Do you have some estimation. How much you will finally spend on project?
Thx for your video, Karl! It's great to know that there is more to come! 👍😎
Engineering genius. Video is so informative.
Looking sooooo good. Can´t wait to see it finished.
Keep up the great job.
love your work ! we need more videos like this !
Camt wait for the next 11 vids. welcome back to the UK pal
Thank you, it's actually amazing being back, I just miss the glorious 32 degree heat and sun.
@@helimech8152 Wont take you long to get used to it mate. Least you wont be sweating your cobs off when your working. (Dont forget its winter soon ............)
My friend you are a good a interesting man you must have great formation to do it these items, because this hobby is very exigent, and minuciosus, and you have to buy a lot of electronics components in one container only for you. And you are a good and excelet jober, or worker.
Fantastic as always !
Thank you.
I 3D printed a G1000 on the old design. But love the look of the laser etched version. Is that on the shop now? I’m going to have to buy a laser etcher now!
Looking good mate
Thank you
A dxf of the panel cutout would be wonderful!
great Job karl!! will be my next project!!.. now dealing with you FMC . soon ill post some pics!!
Oh that's quite a big project! The wiring can be very repetitive.
@@helimech8152 tell about!!
Good Job
Thank you
Will you be able to sell the Bezels for your G1000 PFD and MFD and Autopilot?
I think so, very soon with the new laser etched ones
Excellent.
Thanks Rick, it's not one of my better are videos, but hopefully it will complete the start to finish of the C172 build.
Very nice!
Ur so lucky at being this talented a only wish i could be
Thank you, but it was all self taught through trial and error! over many years now!
Good Morning Would like to know if you could kindly do a video on gauge building? For GA aircraft.
Hi Marvin, Will do. I have a few more mods to my current guage before i want to release a video. But its certainly in the planning of the C172 build. Kind regards, Karl
Great very nice!!!
Thank you
Prototype looks better than anything I will ever create.
Thank you, it worked well, but the final version should look fantastic!
@@helimech8152 I’d better preheat the 3D printer then…cheers. Is there a link to the 10” panel anywhere please? £30 sounds like a bargain
I love your videos, I have a question how much did your 737 overhead panel electronics cost in total
Wait, prop heat? On a 172?
Hi,
Beautiful C172 project with G1000.
Where can you get the panel projects?
Hello, Head over to my site on www.737DIYSIM.com
Cool Bro!!!
Cool. However I’m waiting for the helicopter builds.
Soon, very soon. The first vid is done, just need to film the final outro
@@helimech8152 oh sweet. I was just being cheeky given your channel name :) I’m an ex helicopter pilot and there is a shortage of good heli-sim content!!
Amazing
Thank you
Hi love your videos i want to build this but with wiring 0 knowledge
Love your detailed explanations and your "documentary" style. Just wonder why your speech recordings are usually mono? That's kinda irritating [for me].
Now you should make them to sell to people
H
ello my friend, sorry this project also works on x plane ??? thank you
Hello, It should as it mainly replicates a joystick. The only functions that may not work are the excess buttons. But if you connected those wires to the Leobodnar instead of the arduino, then they too would work for xplane.
And i am struggling to get my thrustmaster throttle set up correctly..
Chuckle, I needed to get this vid out so I can continue the build.
The real question is what will my Mrs say, if i start building a second sim!?
Chuckle, it's small, lightweight and she won't even notice, well actually we all know she's going to notice! Lol
@@helimech8152 True! perfect for the Dining room Table! haha
She'll be too busy serving the in-flight drinks and meals in her new air hostess uniform lol
surely it means you can both Sim together ;)
I believe Jesus is lord and this panel is the greatest of all time. in jesus name. where we can find the measures sir?
