  • Hello Everyone!
Today I will be showing you how to configure the Flight Simulator Instruments I made last week. These include the Fuel Quantity, EGT, Fuel Flow, Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, Vacuum pressure, and Ammeter.
📌Building the Engine Instruments: • How to make Cessna 172...
    📌3D Print file: www.thingivers...
    📌MobiFlight: www.mobiflight.com
    EGT INSTRUMENT CONFIGURATION
    I used an interpolation of
    582 1
    764 3
    1324 5
This worked well for me. I basically found where the simulator hit a tick mark on the instrument then set it to its corresponding FSUIPC Value. There is not really any math involved, just finding values that work, and adjusting them if needed.

    Hello
The explanations are excellent, but I have many doubts, regarding the firmware that is loaded on the arduino, I am very interested in developing a cabinet, I know some electronics, but the world of arduino has been little programming

Hello! They are on my instrument videos, and from the thingiverse page. All of my new instruments are here: github.com/CaptainBobSim/The-Cessna-172-Project-V3

Hi, how are you? Why don't you make another video with the new version of Mobiflight the engine instruments

Hi MDFlightSim! I may redo these instruments and try and do an accompanying video, I don't usually update my outdated videos because otherwise every video I make would be a remake of an old video.

I have a question how many arduino mega 2560 will you need for a Cessna panel & how would you wire them thanks

You will need 2 if you are using mostly servo instruments, but 3-4 if you are using stepper motor instruments. Here is the playlist on all of my wiring: ua-cam.com/play/PL3BZuuA7xo1IT7z5PTshKLFlf6Bz4H8Ng.html

How did you learn how to make all this?

    • @CaptainBobSim
      @CaptainBobSim  4 роки тому

A lot of UA-cam, trial and error, curiosity, and reading forums and articles. The biggest way I learned was by not giving up.
Let me know if you need help starting :)
