I have this - well done it’s awesome! I also have a full Pioneer CDJ setup, but I love the portability, quality and sheer versatility of this device - plus it’s just so much fun! Great to be able to DJ just about anywhere and hook up through RCAs to just about any sound system, big or small. Well done - every DJ should at least try this product - you might be surprised and buy one just like I did! Enjoy!
Hi Luke, it's Oct 5th, 2024 and I can't believe I found one of these Mixtour Pro's in stock. This controller is simply awesome. You did a great job designing this with Redloop. I just received it today. I ordered it two days ago and I have spent three hours with it and already mastered the controls. I don't know what everybody is complaining about that there are too many layers, people come on spend some time with it learn it..... This is an awesome controller. The best one I have ever laid my hands on. Congratulations on your design. I love it.. Thanks Paul (Owner of Bowtie productions).
Reloop Mixtour Pro and Djay Pro are the perfect match for the mobile creative DJ performer. Played with the Mixtour this weekend. Can't wait to perform with the new Mixtour Pro.
Those extra shift combos are really great, just the sorts of things that you only realise you need after using something for a while in the real world! Glad there is now tempo up and down.
Happy you understand it Andy! And some of these came with trial and error. I was at a show one where I was in a shortened loop and suddenly I realize I had the key shifts programmed in an area I couldn't access. So over time some things changed to properly streamline this.
I can't help but to think... if there were 4 channels on unit, there'd be more real estate for things like a dedicated loop section. Perhaps an "XL" version down the road
Is a great idea if they can get the form factor is a sweet spot. But they gotta make money off this first and by the looks of reactions, it's a polarizing device
That's a good point! I've made this purely out of selfish reasons lol. Which also meant portability so I could travel easily with it. But then at the festivals and clubs install it easily. This form factor, like @olivernelson-ed9jm said below, is hitting the sweet spot. But I'm sure for many DJs this could be and feel different!
there should be an update when we can link two Mixtour Pro’s to one phone/iPad and that way it would be a four channels controller. somehow like the Traktor Z1/X1/F1, but in this case with two Mixtours :)
@@laidbackluke I bought an application for Android and I have the first version of Mix Tour. I hope there will be an update for Android and when will the function to connect vinyl players and CDs appear?
I love that you’re willing to take a leap and try new gear. I love the tactile feel of decks or jogs, but I’m still super excited to see these utilized in the wild. Big ups!
Too many shift-functions. And (generally) missing out on the sweet-spot of having direct access to three (3) decks at the same time without any shift-functions. Four decks is luxurious, three is optimum. Taking only three would make the whole device a bit wider, but: Three decks, you know. Anyway, congrats for the release!
I appreciate this comment! It's always good to keep an eye on some critique. In this form factor, a ton of choices needed to be made. @@LeFix07 Thing is, not all the time. But if needed, I really want direct access. And yes, it's actually just a pitch from my side, the Reloop Mixtour PRO is a super cool controller, seriously. I pre-ordered my Mixtour Pro directly after the NAMM show in January and got the unit on July 13. Although the device was perfectly packaged, something rumbled loosely inside the device and there were humming noises during operation. Obviously I received a defective unit and have to wait now for a replacement, delivery probably in September 2024. Fingers crossed that the manufacturing quality will then be a bit more like a 'Pro' device.
WOW! I remember us talking about this back in March for MMW and to see it in a finished form is amazing! I love the backspin feature the best! This is going to be WAY nicer to have than carry around a giant dj coffin that weighs a ton lol. Im super excited for this product and can't wait to get one myself! Im so excited that you're always coming up with newer ways to do things! With enough time do you feel that VR venues could be a viable thing compared to going out ? Is there a way to remove EQ low-mid-high from the Fx similar to how you can on the 900nx2? And maybe an addition that may help? A small button next to the EQ's to cut the eq out so you don't always have to turn the knob every time? It could provide a sharper cut back in and out of that frequency.
🔥🔥🔥 can’t wait to use this. Preordered super early, excited to get it this month. Been trying out several smaller controllers when traveling, and I like all the possibilities of this unit. I’m not going to be using it at festivals or clubs, but I like that @laidbackluke is, showing that no matter where we are using it, we’ll have a mighty capable unit.
I just placed an order for the Mixtour Pro after being sadly disappointed to find out that the Kontrol Z1 units being sold by Native Instruments now no longer have the 15V DC input jack on them, no longer support use with iOS/iPad devices, and are not even supported by their own Traktor DJ2 app. Even the NI user manual for the Z1 still shows the original design of the device with the DC input jack and describes using it with iOS devices (with no callouts to specify that only applies to the older original design of the Z1). I also use DJay Pro and was delighted to find out that the LL redesigned Mixtour is out now and does so much more than the Z1! Due to backorders I'll have to wait until Jan, 2025 to receive mine but l'm confident it will be worth the wait. Looking forward to the new year!
Can you use two of them together for four deck mixing I would have preferred an ABCD that you would press to assign the decks instead of a shift mode and when you turn off the end button to all the stems turn off? I would like it to be sort of a stem, Killswitch and return to normal.
I am a big algorithm lover. I have pre-ordered my unit. Can you make a video on how to connect everything in a real life performance with cdjs and controllers.

Meaning, How would I know what I'm doing with the shift functions if I can't see lights? I'm imagining The Voiceover focus, witch is basically A curser, would jump to the function in the app and read it out? I wish I could get a unit so I could test this stuff out. I would imagine that this company, Algoriddim, has thought of this stuff since they know all about Voiceover. These are just some questions I have in my head. Love your mixes and tutorials luke. Thank you, Luke for this video! I’ve had mine preorder since Feb. having to wait till end of July is a bummer but I appreciate the news! I was wondering how nudging and vinyl brake work? Is braking a single global setting or can it be turned on/off on the controller per deck?
If you already have your hot cues all mapped out then I could see this being a good option, but if you need to cue up and play an unknown track the lack of jog wheels really hurts it. Glad to see the build quality has improved though which has been a pain-point for Reloop products in the past.
Great point, but that's why you can always touch the screen of your iPhone, iPad or mouse your way towards that on a laptop. But on the phone and iPad you actually have dedicated jogwheels in DJAY PRO
Love it! I really dig the paddles, buttons and functionality Be interesting to see what the production people say when setting this unit up, but I’d be willing to try it. Looking at this, I’m hoping a full 4 channel unit comes out. I’ve been using Algoriddim off and on for 12 or 13 years …. So I’m excited. Love new tech

Few thoughts on an otherwise amazing product! - Your shortcut key of shift left neural mix to bring up different panels is amazing - and would be nice if it worked on other views (just seems to work on 4deck). - Also your loop shortcut to manually shorten/lengthen the loop of mode + browse, doesn't seem to work on my unit... was that removed?
Yeah. I was waiting for this and Thomann said the item arrives in 2 weeks. I wanted to purchase it yesterday, and now it says 3 MONTHS! that's after summer. In that case, I am not buying it. I wanted to DJ over the summer. Now, changing delivery date to 3 MONTHS! EUROPE IS IN NEXT 3 MONTHS!
The only issue i have is not with the reloop mixtour pro (i'm currently using mixtour myself as my main dj gear, its quiet fun), but with the software djay pro. It's that i can't edit my music on my computer, if i perform on my phone, and it's so annoying. Is there a way to connect my 2 devices so i could edit (HQ, Grid etc) my tracks on laptop and then use those edits on my phone when i perform?
@@laidbackluke, thank you. I got lucky and ordered mine this weekend and it should be here today or tomorrow. Seems that the „usual suspects“ DJ stores in europe haven‘t even recieved it yet or just a few. Right now it seems to be sold out or postponed everywhere.
Does it have play jump/loop jump with scroll button? That is very helpful to quickly forward track synced by 4 beats (or more) forward. Please add this. Traktor has this. It's amazingly quick to scroll through playing track to the break part by simply turning the knob (and track jumping 4 beats per scroll, always synced and to the beat). Please add it to Browse scroll + Shift button (to scroll through track by 4 or more beats.
Great video Im all for portability and what u guys have done is great. Just one question. Is the unit open for midi mapping incase I want to use other dj software in the future?
the increment loop feature is amazing! send this unit to james hype to test. he might not be able to integrate it in his style of djing but seeing him perform on it would be a blast
Great. You make it seem so easy. Can you drop a vid on settin this up, phone specs requirements, cabling, ins and outs if you want to kick up a like party with portable speakers etc... I really like that all this fits in an A4 office envelop. Much love.
Yeah watching this back, I go quite fast and telling you what's in my brain, not realizing I should adapt to your brain! Tell me what you would want to see and I'll make a full tutorial for you!
Seems a little difficult to learn with all of the multi functional keys and the shift. Instead of having a button for everything now one button does two things idk how I feel about that. I see how hard it would be though to fit all the functionalities of CDJS into such a compact device. Looks like you did it right! More useful for home dj's or youtube dj's or traveling wedding djs who need a compact setup.
It's a trade-off, very portable but lots of functions under Modifiers, or a big heavy full deck unit with dedicated buttons. I'm DJ'ing with Traktor now, but always keeping an eye on Djay Pro. I might actually buy this controller to try it out. Need to definitely read the manual. BTW, is it possible to do Midi Mapping in Djay Pro to create your own functions?
dear sir, i'm sure i be asking what many have on their minds, which is, will you forsee this hardware to someday be compatible with serato? please say yes!
Mine is supposed to ship this week (in the US). I’m pretty stoked. I can’t help but wonder if Reloop would consider DVS support for this unit, just like the Mixon 8 does. Imagine a couple of SPiNs along side this bad boy.
Ok EDIT. It dies have this Stem Mute On/Off Button function by default, under Neural Mix mode, which switches the (2×)4 pads next to the EQ Knobs to Mute Stem On/Off functionality. This device seems to allow you to use Extremely much functions in a very small portable form-factor 🤩 6:05 Next to Knobs/Faders any unit with Stems control should have Mute on/off Buttons to immediately turn on/off the volume of a Stem. Using Faders/Knobs to do on/off sounds really different. With Buttons you can mute 1/4 beats of Drums, or part of a Vocal, so much better and easier.
They need to revive Reloop Contour, that was a rare breed of single-deck controllers. Lots of double-deckers, but that was a single deck, twice more compact. And also - if that's a proper no-drivers MIDI controller - it could be an incredibly useful DAW controller, just to position the DAW with much better precision and convenience!
This looks really exciting! Luke, why did you not put in your "signature" features into the manual? I feel they are really useful, and before you announced them, was wondering myself if those kinds of things are available on this unit - like changing the tempo for example. Really happy that they are. Is the device fully MIDI mappable, so could we also create our own shortcuts/features with SHIFT and MODE and other combos?
I still don’t find this a very tactile unit to be honest. Great improvement from the normal mixtour but i’m still in the opinion that having some cdj’s that are frankly already standing there are more tactile. It just feels a bit fiddly to press several buttons to get somewhere all the time
Looks really good tbh. Quick question: Is there any way to nudge the track + or - as if you had jogwheels? If not, maybe using shift + each deck´s filter knob would be something worth trying maybe? or is it meant for you to use sync or cue to sync the songs? Hope to see more content about this unit soon. Congrats on this release, Luke!
@@vegandadbod7157I think meant nudge the track forwards/backwards, not change the tempo, although you could accomplish a nudge by changing the tempo and putting it back to where it was, but that’s more cumbersome.
@@woOrszt Cool to know that they already have a solution for that, it should be mentioned more often on reviews as a lot of people´s complaints are related to the lack of jogs. Thanks for your answer.
Honestly I still can't believe it either, but doing and recording the "Tiny DJ Sets" as well, it makes me realize how DJing can be so much more compact, while experiencing a ton of freedom. Technology is wild!
@@laidbackluke The technology existed already for a looooooong time. Midi Mapping and Modifiers to have buttons/knobs have multiple functions depending on which modifiers you press (toggle or hold). What you created however with Reloop Mixtour Pro is a device that has all these functions in a lay-out that actually makes sense (although I do find 3 or 4 faders instead of 2 would also make sense, combined with a buttons next to the EQ knobs to do stuff like mute on/off stems and other functions) Reloop Mix4 Pro. Bit wider, bit heavier, bit sturdier, 2 more faders, at least 8 more buttons, I'm sure there's a market for it. Very important with these units however have a very good Manual, preferably with video tutorials for all the Modifier functions as well.
Not with the Mixtour Pro itself, because there is no corresponding hardware installed. However, if Algoriddim manages to support Phase in HID mode, it should be possible.
This is so good. I unfortunately literally just bought an x1 and thinking of add the z1 to let me do majority of what I want on traktor. Wish I saw this first though. Maybe once I downsize to those, my brain can comprehend how to make the most of this haha.
Hi, I have the previous mixer but I stopped using it because it only had 2 channels and I want to buy this one but I don't understand how channels 3 and 4 are handled in relation to the audio outputs. It would be great if you could explain how it works . Thank you very much.
Very dangerous having key shift using mode + play/cue as you can accidentally remove finger of mode button and you’ll end up stopping the track. Would have made sense to use mode and paddles ..up and down
Does it have pitch bend controls? Upd. I see this function with shift button. Good! With tempo controls and pitch bend it's complete mixing controller!
Yeah that opens up a lot! I didn't even mention all the functionalities on the pads either like opening the saved loop area, or the pitch play area, instead of only Hot Cues. There's a lot there!
It would be cool to have a cog semi-circle sticking out each side representing each deck. They would be used to speed up or slow the track manually. I love the idea though. It's portable and functional. Just too many combos to remember.
While the Mixtour Pro works with Android. Djay Pro is missing Neural Mix & Crossfader Fusion on Android. It's seems Algorithm Djay Pro is designed for Mac & iPad. Wish Algorithm Djay Pro would update the Android version with Neural Mix it would persuade me to get the Mixtour Pro.
I’ve just received my unit and it’s absolutely gorgeous. I have a question though - is there a way to have visual feedback when the track is near at the end? Like blinking or something similar that starts for example 30 seconds before the end?
Let’s go!! Finally 🎉🎉🎉

and... just checked.. it has gone up again :)
🔥🔥🔥 looking forward to this unit! Great colab! I really hope the soundcard in this unit makes it into the next Reloop Ready and Buddy units.
Ordered two ones. Should arrive next days 🎉
Wow you ordered two! 🤩🤩
Can’t wait for this arrive! Mine has been order since first announced.
I'm so sorry for the wait Rob, it's been too long!
@@laidbacklukepatience is a virtue!
dope!!! THANKS LAIDBACK LUKE!!!
Interesting little unit.
I hope it has a sturdy fader for scratching
What? That's crazy! That's not what I heard. I'm so sorry about that, that sucks : (
@@laidbackluke There were 2 shops in Germany carrying pre-orders. Everything is sold now. So now waiting for next batch in 3 months.
Now that is interesting. I would love to try one out
Nice one bro. I'd love to own one of this new gadget. I'm 49yo now and still craving for this one being a former vinyl dj way back then. 🙂
Perfect!!
Am working on traktor mapping for this controller, will be fun to have such versatile piece
Will it be possible to controll fx parameters and dry/wet?
That's a big: YES! 🔥
@@laidbackluke, thank you. I got lucky and ordered mine this weekend and it should be here today or tomorrow. Seems that the „usual suspects“ DJ stores in europe haven‘t even recieved it yet or just a few. Right now it seems to be sold out or postponed everywhere.
Can't wait to get this.
THIS
This is on there Mike!
Any updates when this feature is coming?@@laidbackluke
@@laidbacklukePage n° in the manual? 🧐🙂
I love it!!! What's your opinion, the old Mixtour for begining and adaptation or go straight to the Mixtour Pro?
Great video Im all for portability and what u guys have done is great. Just one question. Is the unit open for midi mapping incase I want to use other dj software in the future?
the increment loop feature is amazing! send this unit to james hype to test. he might not be able to integrate it in his style of djing but seeing him perform on it would be a blast
Well done for learning how to midi map. Super professional.
Great. You make it seem so easy. Can you drop a vid on settin this up, phone specs requirements, cabling, ins and outs if you want to kick up a like party with portable speakers etc... I really like that all this fits in an A4 office envelop. Much love.
I ordered mine, would love a Full tutorial about this unit for beginners 🎉
Yeah watching this back, I go quite fast and telling you what's in my brain, not realizing I should adapt to your brain! Tell me what you would want to see and I'll make a full tutorial for you!
@@laidbacklukeif you can make this tutorial like an hour, everyone here would watch it
Seems a little difficult to learn with all of the multi functional keys and the shift. Instead of having a button for everything now one button does two things idk how I feel about that. I see how hard it would be though to fit all the functionalities of CDJS into such a compact device. Looks like you did it right! More useful for home dj's or youtube dj's or traveling wedding djs who need a compact setup.
It's not hard at all Preston, it's very intuitive actually. Next time I see you I should show you! It's like having 4 CDJs in one unit.
@@laidbackluke Sounds like a plan!!
@@hilkomenke8340 everything has its use!
dear sir, i'm sure i be asking what many have on their minds, which is, will you forsee this hardware to someday be compatible with serato? please say yes!
This device seems to allow you to use Extremely much functions in a very small portable form-factor 🤩
6:05 Next to Knobs/Faders any unit with Stems control should have Mute on/off Buttons to immediately turn on/off the volume of a Stem.
Yes the device is fully MIDI mappable and the signature features come with every unit 🔥
I still don’t find this a very tactile unit to be honest. Great improvement from the normal mixtour but i’m still in the opinion that having some cdj’s that are frankly already standing there are more tactile. It just feels a bit fiddly to press several buttons to get somewhere all the time
Now that's some good news!
I think there are a lot of cool features baked into the unit I just wish there was a unit with 4 faders and corresponding eqs and filters…
CONGRATS!
LOVE IT⚡️
CHANGE THE GAME,
CHANGE THE SYSTEM
Thank you very much! ❤
He is showing this feature at 9:30
@@vegandadbod7157I think meant nudge the track forwards/backwards, not change the tempo, although you could accomplish a nudge by changing the tempo and putting it back to where it was, but that’s more cumbersome.
@@DJ-Coma Exactly, i meant nudge the track as a you would with a jogwheel without the tempo jumps.
@@estebanenriquez5882 Nudging can be done by shift+cue & play/pause. It is marked as PITCH BEND on the silksreen.
@@woOrszt Cool to know that they already have a solution for that, it should be mentioned more often on reviews as a lot of people´s complaints are related to the lack of jogs. Thanks for your answer.
Looks great! - I've ordered one with a deck saver - I'm also hoping there is a way to scrub through a track directly from the unit 😄
Looking at the marketing images, it looks like scrubbing might be possible using the mode button and browse knob 🤞
I ordered the mixtour pro. And I hope that also the built quality is better than the first one.
Oh it's much better! I need this to feel PRO : )
This thing rocks
Really looking forward to jumping on this new Mixtour Pro. I really believe this is the future of djing ... Congrats Luke
What you created however with Reloop Mixtour Pro is a device that has all these functions in a lay-out that actually makes sense (although I do find 3 or 4 faders instead of 2 would also make sense, combined with a buttons next to the EQ knobs to do stuff like mute on/off stems and other functions)
Reloop Mix4 Pro. Bit wider, bit heavier, bit sturdier, 2 more faders, at least 8 more buttons, I'm sure there's a market for it.
Very important with these units however have a very good Manual, preferably with video tutorials for all the Modifier functions as well.
Dvs? Can I use it with turntables
Not with the Mixtour Pro itself, because there is no corresponding hardware installed. However, if Algoriddim manages to support Phase in HID mode, it should be possible.
Will there be different cables and different lengths included? Such as USB C to USB A or USB C to USB C?
This is so good.
I unfortunately literally just bought an x1 and thinking of add the z1 to let me do majority of what I want on traktor. Wish I saw this first though. Maybe once I downsize to those, my brain can comprehend how to make the most of this haha.
There's likely a Z1 Mk2 that will be released soon, and possibly another modular unit (F1 Mk2?). Google
With only software update, you could use TWO of these at the same time to have 4 decks without layers.
Would have made sense to use mode and paddles ..up and down
4 Channel with all these dedicated Buttons and swiches would be massive !!!
very nice device. i will order it. although i am missing pro connections like balanced trs outputs. maybe a thing to consider for a MK2
Does it have pitch bend controls? Upd. I see this function with shift button. Good! With tempo controls and pitch bend it's complete mixing controller!
next page on the pads... that is mind blowing... wahhoo... just realised windows are like invisible or something, that is mind blowing lol
Just too many combos to remember.
can the reloop mixtour pro be used at the same time as cdjs aswell, similar to using cdjs with a traktor x1 ?
where do you get your tracks from?
the old intro is backkkkk
Is there full compatibility with Android Devices? Including Neural Mixing options?
While the Mixtour Pro works with Android.
Djay Pro is missing Neural Mix & Crossfader Fusion on Android. It's seems Algorithm Djay Pro is designed for Mac & iPad. Wish Algorithm Djay Pro would update the Android version with Neural Mix it would persuade me to get the Mixtour Pro.
I’ve just received my unit and it’s absolutely gorgeous. I have a question though - is there a way to have visual feedback when the track is near at the end? Like blinking or something similar that starts for example 30 seconds before the end?
Wow that's a great point! Let me forward that to Reloop! Didn't think about that but that's golden. So happy to hear you received your unit! 🔥
@@laidbackluke thank you, please, do :). so far this is really the only thing I miss. that would be really great if that could be added in some update
@@laidbacklukeThat's Traktor X1 Mk3 😉 X1 Mk3 flashes red to signal and of track, solid green when you're in a Loop.
can we plug cdjs/turntables on it for dvs use ?
Yeah man seen it setup with phase
Looking forward to combing this with my x1850 and SC5000m,... (I preorderd)
Hey @laidbackluke what platter, controller, stand-a-lone, etc would you consider is the best to use for DJ Pro?
I imagine you'd say the Mixtour Pro goes above amd beyound its MSRP. Heck, at least the regular Mixtour did.
I really Love your voice, it is very catchy. Maybe try some vocals
nice!!
I need a beatjump feature, Will I be able to map it?
Keep in mind that most of what is shown in the video requires an update to version 5.2. So the controller alone doesn't do it.
Nice unit.
Pre-ordered months ago.
Question: Is Beatjump mapped per default on the unit or is it something I will have to manually input?
Beatjump is mapped per default and you can find it under the many "mode" functions. You'll see. It's stacked with functionalities! : )
