    Great video. Made the removal process a breeze. I ran into some trouble with the transmission coolant lines though. My O-rings are fine but i cant the the transmission cooler lines to fully reinstall? Any tips on how you managed to reattach these lines?

    That bottom hose has a sensor, would you know what it’s called? I removed mine and the clip broke and I’m having a hard time finding a replacement or fix?

    Well done! I'm looking to put back together an A6 bumper assembly and secure the fluid lines in there proper placement. If you can illustrate the proper routing and assembly please drop me a line. Thanks!

    Omw home from work(Audi Cicero) and a young fckn buck took out my hood and radiator😋anyways been a minute since I had a C5 so this video was a good refresher. Cool seeing vids of the local events like race wars which got rained out and the syr nats. Where’s your shop at?

    How did you guys top off the transmission fluid? Is it possible to top off the transmission fluid through the lines instead of underneath the vehicle?

    • @GitItGarage
      @GitItGarage  5 років тому

      Fluid Top up can be achieved via the transmission dipstick tube with a small funnel

      Git It Garage My '04 Audi doesn't have a transmission dipstick tube. Unfortunately, only accessible via an access hole on the transmission pan. Do you think it is doable through the transmission line instead?

      @@ProjectArjun if you can get a good seal on one of the lines with a hose I'd think you could add some that way. Otherwise the access hole would be the only way.

      @@GitItGarage Quick question, after you guys replaced your radiator, did you ever top off the transmission fluid? Only a little leaks out, is it really necessary? Could I just reconnect the lines and go on my way? Thanks

      Boomstruck we actually didn’t add any more fluid we also only lost a little bit as well and didn’t add any of if I recall. The transmission still worked fine, tho I’d recommend it I would hate to see you damage your transmission, thanks for watching!
