I would have just adjusted the boost PID and kfmirl map in the ecu rather than using something other than the n75 which is the boost controller from the ecu. You can run them without the n75 but I’m sitting at 20 in my s4 with all the oe sensors and solenoids.
Just tune it. I got 18 psi on stock turbos and 25 on k04s. The car will throw a CEL when it doesn't see the N75. And u will probably throw over boost codes too.
Really don't need that big a box for heavy duty safety padding, you could ship a $1 wine glass though a hockey tournament in there. My bet is that thats the smallest box they have (disregarding parts with sturdy retail boxes and rubber gaskets that can go i padded envelopes), and they have a flat rate for that size up to 1-2kg weight with their shipping partner. More often than not, the ease of packaging and logistics, and massively reduced cost of having a reduced number of different boxes made (fewer models, larger quantities per model), far outweigh the slight increase in shipping rates. Both financially and practically. Just the job of stacking pallets for shipping can take a fraction of the time when dealing with 4-5 different shapes and sizes instead of 8-10. And labour time is big money.
Nomally the N75 valve you unplugged will allow no boost iver 5-6psi. Plugged in, even with no hoses on, with your MBC, you should be ok to reach those 12psi,however the ecu wont compensate for fuel or air over 9 psi without an tune like apr or giac. Just be aware of that.. most times your car will cut throttle if its overboosting. What happened since you posted this video?
Fyi it wont throw a code untill you accually drive it. Once the car triggers the code say 3 times the engine light will come on it wont come on right wen u start it....
Someone show me what the controller is on I don’t have a boost gauge but I have the controller and don’t want to accidentally run 30 psi and blow my stock car to the moon
Why do you have BOV on the 2.7 I got the hybrids but with so many issues at low speed because of metered air it's pointless and where the hell is your maf sensor
I feel like i just went back to 1999? You guys said you couldn't find any info on where the N75 valve was located? This 2.7 motor has been covered more then any Audi engine in history? You posted this video last yr. Like this engine just came out.
Damon Lannon as a matter of fact my video is at the top of the recommended page when you search. At the point of this filming their was very little video of any others doing this modification. That is why we filmed the process.
Definitely wouldnt recommend going above 15PSI. Did you end up throwing a code? Got the same car and it usually wont throw a code for 10-15 minutes after I change something. Also are those titanium waste gates or what are those?
+Kanga Duck Right now the car is pushing 12psi With just intake an the exhaust now!! & & yes! They are hybrid jetfuel/oil slick blowoff valves. They are off eBay hybrid valves make a recirculate in low rpm & blow off hard when your on the gas
how are you about to recommend info when you dont even know that those are diverters valves.... ...titanium wastegates.... come on people like this are the reason why these cars go to shit run forge diverters or the stock 710n or the saab dv their do their job just fine
No, you cannot at least not without some serious upgrades. The 2.8L motor is very hard to boost or I should say very expensive. That 2.8 will run forever with the proper maintenance but no good for modding or boost. I have one myself and at one point asked the same question.
No, but you can swap in a 2.7t. Motor mounts are the same, you’ll only need to do a couple connection changes on the wiring, but that shouldn’t be too difficult. I’ve seen it done. Even to a 2003 A4.
Just bought a 2.7t Quattro s-line I think theses will be classics and are becoming popular again
I have a 2001 Audi Allroad also a 2.7tt and its pushing 24 pounds daily driven. just a stage 1+ bolt on car
I have a 04 a6 2.7t everything stock . how is the apr tune only
What bolt on do you have?

Those diverter valves do the work great being as its no recirculated
twin intercoolers are stock
Might do this on a audi all road 2.7t six speed swap on my next upload. This was helpful 👌 thank you
What blow off valves are you running I have the same car but stick shift and 2002
Cool!
I gave you a thumbs up for the Tim Horton coffee! It's the best!
What bypass valves are you running they sound hella good
Hello! I want to ask what brand you are blow off valves?
Hey Swift Auto's did u guys ever get a check engine light on after driving the car with the mbc with out the n75 being plugged in
Most places have at least a few employees that do not treat fragile boxs well. To small a box might very well get lost as well.

Great video and good to know how to replace it .
What kind of blow off valves or diverter valves do you have
Do more on this car

should have left the camera on, as least for stop and go footage in order to record exact steps for beginner DIY's
Are those purple blow off valves?
Way to show where he took the original off
Good job bro...all the best wishes
Why do you have BOV on the 2.7 I got the hybrids but with so many issues at low speed because of metered air it's pointless and where the hell is your maf sensor
Blow off valves on a 2.7t 🤣
How many turns on this boost controller?
Can we gets a parts list???

Damon Lannon Thanks for your irrelevance!!
where did you get that intake hose from filter to y pipe? mine is the stock plastic accordion style and sucks to remove the factory clamp.
+Bearded Ninja87 that intake hose is actually off of a 1998 Dodge Durango
Swift _ Auto's alright, thanks for the help
Stock twin????????
Just get a tune, this will put you in limp mode most of the time
where did you get the blow off valves from?
+Nelson Cordova Ebay
+Swift _ Auto's link?
and lo he waited for the link that never came.
@@gtivr6racer never...
What is y by is piece used for?
Nice vid. well done. But what are those rainbow looking things at the front of the engine please ???? thank you....
Blow off valves. They do the same as diverter valves, but vent to atmosphere, making a “ cool sound”, where dv’s vent back into engine.
@@TheLifeTerm Thanks for the reply, I appreciate that....

Matty Man I'm running a custom tune for the past 50k km I've driven the tune at 21psi and everything is great, just get forge diverter valves
how are you about to recommend info when you dont even know that those are diverters valves....
...titanium wastegates.... come on
people like this are the reason why these cars go to shit
run forge diverters or the stock 710n or the saab dv
their do their job just fine
excuse how much boost does that car have in stock? someone knows
Is that 12 psi with a tune..or does the factory ecu compensate for that?
+Patrick Duniphin your factory ecu will withstand 12psi but I don't suggest going higher without a tune
yo man...where did you get that heat shield!? i need it for mah beast
Hey bro, I’m guessing you have a a6 as well like me, so if you find one help me out bc I need one for my car as well
Hi one question where did u buy ur blow off valve?
Pekpek86 Purchased Off Ebay Link in one of the other comments below!!
Swift Auto's okay thanks.
I have a 1999 Audi A6 V6 could I put the turbos on mine too mine is a 2.8 v6

what are those purple things
Blow off valves
They're splitter valves. Diverter/BOV hybrids that recirculate and blow off some pressure.
i have an allroad... thanx!!!
Where did you get your intake ?
That intake is trash . Should've kept stop he is getting no fresh air . At least the stop box has a route to from of car
He looks like a Kyle but where's the monster
*biturbo, not twin turbo.
Bi means 2 grow the fuck up
Put some rs6 turbos on it and crank it up to 29psi 😂
Lol
