Unfortunately in part one i don’t have the angles of those brackets that you’re going to have to make. Check out part two for additional angles put into that measurement sheet.
Dude thank you so much for this video, I really enjoy seeing you work through all the design considerations. I love the prinsu on the 4runner but I think they did the angle wrong for the lc200/lx570, I plan to diy because it looks like they did the angle too steep as if they reused the angle from the 4runner instead.
My local metal supply house. I used 6 inch wide 1/4 think pieces. I think I bought them in 12 or 14ft lengths although I don't remember. Start with Google maps for steel suppliers and Call around asking for aluminum stock and what you are looking for, they might suggest where to go.
Thanks for the mounting hole dimensions. I've been wanting to do my own roof, bed and tire rack and now I'm a step closer

@@todaysrandomexperience6869 did you use 6061 or 3003 aluminum? Curious what kind of load you could carry with 3003 or if i reallh need 6061.
