A NEW INTRO?!! yessssss. Rory’s attitude during her affair with Dean always made me so mad. She was carrying on and romanticizing this situation with Dean as if he wasn’t a whole married man and she was just jealous of Lindsey from the jump, talking about her in the supermarket and everything as if Lindsey did something to her. Yale was definitely the place she learned she was not as special as she was in her hometown
Thankyou babe 🩷 she definitely romanticized that disgusting affair. That episode with her bad mouthing Lindsey always pisses me off, because it let Lindsey know her husband was talking about her to Rory and that Rory was still in love with him.
Lindsey was what Dean always said he wanted someone like Donna Reed and then when he got the very thing he wanted, he mistreated and verbally ab*sed her. it's why you shouldn't pay mind when some of these men complain about how women don't do this or do that because they constantly contradict themselves. Don't change yourself for anyone
i dont think dean ALWAYS wanted a housewife, im pretty sure in the donna reed episode he said he doesnt see an issue with a woman wanting to provide for her family at home
@@junehosh4347 He still thought it was ideal, which is why he would get upset at Rory taking additional classes for summer to have on her college applications, because he felt like women should put their boyfriends/husbands before any and everything and cater to their man 24/7. just to get that type of woman and mistreat her, go around moping and unhappy. Lusting after Rory because she had things going on outside of Dean's needy a $$ and he wanted a woman to mold into submission not someone who willingly was that way
Rory was most certainly a self righteous brat! That is the perfect way to describe her. She is always thinking about how things make her feel just like when Emily was treating Lorelai like dirt when they had Logan over for dinner, she just sat there smiling and not once did she stand up for her mother. Kirk running out of the inn will always be hilarious to me too lmaooooooo I laugh so hard anytime I rewatch it 😂😂😂😂😂
Omg that episode!!! That episode always make me sad for Lorelai, I feel like they were saying to Lorelai “See, this is how we treat people who come from the background Logan does” everything Emily did was intentional and to send a message.
It was very clear from Rory’s attitude and the way she handled previous relationships that she was going to have an affair with Dean, and felt she owned him because she dated him at one point in her life. Why does the show treat Lorelai and Rory like they’re all that? 😭
It means SO much to me that you are covering Gilmore Girls on your channel. I remember the night the very first episode aired...October 5, 2000. I had just turned 12 years old then, and I knew even then as a young girl that Gilmore Girls was going to be special. I put my late, beloved Mother onto this show! Together, for years, my Mother and I used to bond when she was sick with Parkinson's Disease and Dementia and I was her full-time Caregiver, through watching Gilmore Girls episode after episode. I am so grateful she and I shared a bond over this show. Just as Lorelai and Rory were, my beloved Mother and I were tremendously close. After my Mother's Death, I left Florida behind and bought a Home in a small town called Boardman because, this town looks and reminds me PROFOUNDLY of "Stars Hollow." There is even a large, White gazebo in Boardman Park! Coming here, in the midst of trauma, similar to how Lorelai moved to her Home when Rory was young, I am now cared about and looked after by neighbors. No matter how flawed these characters may be at times, Gilmore Girls remains my ultimate comfort show. It makes me remember and appreciate my dear Mother even more deeply. 🖤

I love this recap, it was funny lol , and you gathered Rory. Emily had no respect for Lorelai whatsoever😒😒 the way she treated her own daughter was so uncalled for. Rory was threatened by Lindsey and any woman she felt would take her place in dating her exes. She's one of those girls who would ask about an ex-girlfriend, watch her every move on social media and try to learn things about her because she wants to know who he was with before her and competes with women who don't even know she exists. She is always threatened by women she feels are girly, beautiful etc. just like she was jealous of Logan's business partner, she doesn't like women unless she feels they're beneath her and are what she believes to be no competition.
