- I take a look at a Girsan MC1911ST!
You can find these firearms here: www.girsan.com
These gun reviews are by the common man for the common man! I don't have hundreds of guns or shoot every day. This is simply to show you some guns so you know whether or not they are any good. I won't be super technical or go into great detail on any of them. This is my first video so suggestions on how to improve would be appreciated.

Great 45! I have the tan model, I did take off the Perry red dot an went to the iron sights. I would recommend getting some Chip McCormick 10+ mags, they’ve been working great for my Girsan.
I paid $573 brand new about two weeks ago over at my local gun shop
It’s a pretty nice 1911 I’ve heard good things about these firearms
Just picked up an FDE colored one today at the local gun show.
mine was 565 in a local shop, but I don't have the red dot, and I'm ok with that, not a big fan of red dots. also have plenty of ammo, and grabbed a couple Wilson combat mags for it!!!
I really like red dots, but not on a 1911. I’ve heard good things about the Girsan
I really liked my Girsan, grips and all. Got the non optic ready commander model in 9mm for $425. The only issue I had with it was the box came damaged.
Where did you get yours? These guns are bringing over 500 now.
@@SB-mw1bg online. searching the deal sites. using reddit reviews to make sure its trustworthy.
@@Mitsurugi2424 More specific.....I buy online all the time.
got my commander in 45acp
Sounds like the box did its job then :)
Good 1911 build quality, however extra parts from the manufacture are not available for my 4.25inch 9mm. Thats a problem! has anyone found a match on part from another manufacture?
I believe most 1911 gunsmiths can help you out with parts
I’m thinking about getting one of these. I’ve heard the optic is bad but I’m curious on your opinion. Is getting one worth it; does it function well?
It's working great for me. Optic isn't great but you can always swap it out for a higher-end one. I have yet to experience a malfunction with the gun itself.
The optic footprint is vortex venom/ Burris fastfire
Just bought one on 4/01 hope I love it.
Dude I really think you will. Great gun and fun to shoot!
@@commonmanbridge3128 Went and shot it was okay not a fan of red dot that comes on it personally. Would like your opinion on red dot. How ever shooting in general is fun just would love some more ammo and more money.
@@brettskinner5824 Ya the red dot definitely felt on the cheaper end and I had to really work tightening it to make it stay illuminated. I was able to finally get it zeroed in and seated right and haven't had a problem since. 45 ACP is ridiculous right now. I've had to hold off shooting just to put gas in my cars. It's sad that shooting is such a luxury expense right now.
Sounds like you have a dryer going in the background
I just got mine I think they upselled you about $150
According to my research, I think I paid about $50 over what I should have. But it's whatever. It had everything I wanted and it was within my price range. Sometimes you just pay for convenience and I try to buy local when I can, even if that means paying a little more.
Not excited by red dots on a 1911.
I'm not excited by red dots on a pistol in general. But I like having the option available. I'm an iron sights guy myself but I enjoy trying new things.
I love my red dot on my 1911. Plus I have a laser for cowitness
$747 is way over priced. At that point just get a Kimber
I plan on getting one of those one day too. I haven't found one with all the features I wanted for the same price though. You must know where to shop.
