Climbing Cloud Peak 2016

August 2016. A 4 day backpacking adventure in the Cloud Peak Wilderness. We began our Trek at the Battle Park TH. Trail 164 to Grace Lake and camped. Next day we intersected trail 038, passed Lake Solitude then camped at the base of Cloud Peak next to Paint Rock Creek. Got up early the next day and climbed to the top of Cloud Peak. It took all day to go up and back. We camped another night at Paint Rock Creek and headed out to Misty moon lake, intersected trail 066, camped at Lily Lake and finished back at Battle Park TH. This loop was approximately a 25 mile loop.
