  • Immersive story about the orphaned baby elephants and the devoted love and sacrifice of a group of men who are called the keepers.
This love story is about the keepers and the baby orphaned elephants who lost their family to man's utter greed by killing these beautiful animals; which has had a devastating impact on the elephant population over the decades. Africa was home to 1.3 million elephants in the 1970s, but today there are less than 30,000 elephants estimated to remain in the wild.
This small group of men, who sacrifice beyond any humans I have ever meet, restore the fragile faith in humanity by providing unconditional love, kindness and compassion.
The Keepers replace the baby elephant’s lost family and are responsible for providing love, care, and the undivided attention these emotionally fragile creatures require. They spend 24 hours a day with the elephant orphans, never leaving their side - eating, playing and sleeping with them for years. They sacrifice time with their own families to nourish the baby elephant to restore their trust to love once again.
