Shady sands isn’t even the capital of the NCR by the time of the movie, it’s the Hub. And it’s a whoole lot bigger than a few settlements. So unless Vault TEC nuked all of it, it should still exist.
@@PheonixRising2988is the movie canon to the games? Cause if it is then this puts it at odds with Fallout New Vegas. It takes place within 2281 and at that time, Shady Sands is still the capital. The show had the city nuked on 2277.

This video is incredibly well done, but I have to point out an oversight. Your misuse of the appropriate protagonist “title” (i.e. Chosen One, Lone Wanderer, etc.) does make it a tad confusing at times. 16:23 well California Oregon and Washington have millions of acres of fertile land (thanks to the GECK) so food lumber and minerals won’t be a problem for a while.
There are so many little issues within this video: F1's 'The Lone Wanderer,' the lack of test Vaults, the over-agradising of the NCR. It really feels like this is just taken off of wikis sometimes, rather than made with one's love of the series.

I’ve killed most of the rad scorpions and raiders, so the roads are safe. My favorite faction, the Kings, is no longer at war with the NCR. There are untapped opportunities in these games for rebuilding a republic, or creating a dictatorship or encouraging anarchy and tribalism.
The people should take back their country and reform it better and actually take brahmin barons herds sinse they own majority of brahmin is the central economy of NCR and use the brahmin resources and money to invest in the wealth fare of the people and make it constitutional law to go to the wealth fare of the people and help build up infrastructure, housing, and health care benefits and people would live better lives and more stable and if the new Vegas is a independent country the casinos and hoover dams water and power renevue would need to go to the wealth fare of the people too

The legion breaks through our defenses, I'm saving a bullet just for myself
I love these videos thank you for all your hard work it's like the Fallout version of lutein and his Warhammer 40K
thank you
It's a shame what Todd and the Fallout series did to the NCR.
what did they do ?
It was a failing nation anyway.
Nah
@@MegaDman16
The NCR wasn't in good shape only in the Mojave. They had strong control in thier territories, rich cities, a strong economy, factories, tanks, vertibirds, Enclave and Bos tech, and fcking 1 million people. I'm sick of this idea that the Mojave NCR represenrs the entirety of the bear.
I actually personally liked what they did in the series with the NCR. It's very in-keeping with Fallout's "war never changes" theme that the best hope for a return to civilisation (on the surface) was severely hit. I dont think the destruction of Shady Sands means they are gone by any means, we will definitely see the NCR in the series and the franchise again, IMO.
Everytime I start New Vegas again, I can't help but siding with them...and every time I see legion, I'm like: "Leerooooooy" 😂
Fallout 3 had the main character activate a G.E.C.K and connect it to a water purification facility on Potomac river in Washington DC, I’d love a Fallout game where we see what’s come of Washington DC & the Potomac river area.
Great work, new subscriber. I shared to a fan group hopefully you get some more followers soon
The Chosen One didn't die when blowing up Poseidon Oil Ridge.
Do a vid on the Free Economic Zone of New Vegas next.
11:18 Incorrect, it's usually suggested by Marcus in Fallout NV that the chosen one survived and headed East.
NCR NCR NCR NCR!
It's not built to last. I'm just hastening the inevitable.
Ave, Amigos.
Ironic
@FBI we're all dying what's your point?

It a shame we might not see the ncr again
Thanks for this. I have only played a little of New Vegas, and then Fallout 4 thru several times. I didn't understand the backstory. I watched the new Fallout series and really liked it....But some folks who played early games are IRATE about what the show did to the NCR. It means nothing to me, but now I understand the passion.
Who else is here to remind them selves what the NCR actually is after watching the fallout show
Shady sands isn’t even the capital of the NCR by the time of the movie, it’s the Hub.
@@gentlemanbronco3246 ah, so we have some retconning going on here.
@@gentlemanbronco3246the white board says fall of shady sands 2277 then an arrow points to the mushroom cloud indicating it happened after 2277, plus the bill board they Lucy and Maximus see says First capital of the California republic, implying there’s a newer capital. My guess is 2277 is when the capital was moved to another city/state and thus shady sands lost its position of power, “the fall” then the nuke is what finished the city off
Underrated channel.
This video is incredibly well done, but I have to point out an oversight. Your misuse of the appropriate protagonist “title” (i.e. Chosen One, Lone Wanderer, etc.) does make it a tad confusing at times. Honestly, the only ones that ever needed mention are The Vault Dweller, Chosen One, and the Courier, as neither of the other 2 protagonists ever made contact with the NCR
Fallout 1 - Vault Dweller
Fallout 2 - Chosen One
FONV - Courier
Fallout 3 - Lone Wanderer
Fallout 4 - Sole Survivor
Patrolling the Mojave makes you wish for a nuclear winter
I've really been looking forward to this
Since no else is going to say it I will. The Khans got what was coming to them at bitter springs
I thought the chosen one survived the oil rig explosion, otherwise their village would be dead…
I can never win with comments like this. I play through hours of content and use the wiki and do my damn hardest to make it right but nope there’s always one who’s like “this is awful”. I tried okay and I am passionate about the games. Also I made a whole video about the vault tests I dono why I have to fill this video with other content about something not relevant. You wanna make a video fine go for it you got my support
Nice video
I’m winding up an NCR play through of New Vegas. I’d have loved the opportunity to rebuild and grow and unite Novak and the other settlements, or not. I’ve killed most of the rad scorpions and raiders, so the roads are safe. My favorite faction, the Kings, is no longer at war with the NCR. There are untapped opportunities in these games for rebuilding a republic, or creating a dictatorship or encouraging anarchy and tribalism.
West Coast fallout games are the best fallout games
I wish the NCR would return in a future fallout game, and have leaders that wouldn’t ya know, trample over settlements and everything
Manifest Destiny tho
The people should take back their country and reform it better and actually take brahmin barons herds sinse they own majority of brahmin is the central economy of NCR and use the brahmin resources and money to invest in the wealth fare of the people and make it constitutional law to go to the wealth fare of the people and help build up infrastructure, housing, and health care benefits and people would live better lives and more stable and if the new Vegas is a independent country the casinos and hoover dams water and power renevue would need to go to the wealth fare of the people too
Great videos! Would love to see you make videos about Fallout 4!

So awesome very good video new subscriber now thanks for the hard work....sorry I lied I was already subscribed 👍
I just noticed this got posted yesterday-
Another fantastic lore video!
The Lone Wanderer was the protagonist of Fallout 3, the character you play as in Fallout 1 is the Vault Dweller.
Check the pinned comment dude
The Chosen One survives; he's No-Bark!
Great video
Wait... was he calling The Vault Dweller, "The Lone Wanderer",
My brother in Atom, the Lone Wanderer is from Fallout 3
I thought when this video came out there would be more gambling.
Vault 15 is such a success that it caused the enclave to lose its oil refinery and western coast.
Keep it up brother
Commenting for the algorithm, this content is too good

@Chase Oliver Really, explain how they're different, they may differ in targets for destruction, but how is the Legion and the Third Reich at all different. They're both totalitarian states lead by someone with a very inflated opinion of themselves, leading an army of men raised from childhood to be warriors, and are both bent on wiping certain groups from the wasteland, chem users, drinkers, gamblers and anyone they deem immoral vs jews, romas, slavs and anyone they deem impure.
How come fallout has never shown us life inside the NCR? Because I would love to see Shady Sands and Los Angeles.
