The Thundeshot still looks so fresh today, and is still a very capable buggy, as proven in the footage!
I think Tamiya progressed in leaps and bounds with this platform when they progressed from the hotshot /boomerang chassis.

yeah i really enjoyed running this . fantastic chassis . feels modern . you can definitely feel the difference over the hotshot . i do have a sabre you build so that will be interesting comparison . love the boomerang though . i do love the hot shot chassis variants 👍

Well that’s changed my view of tamiyas I thought they were fragile
they aren’t that bad . perhaps not so good on skate parks but thry can take a bashing 😊👍
