- Enjoying the ubiquitous Traxxas Summit. This is the Kawasaki edition and is simply a fantastic all round RC truck that is quickly becoming a favourite, I can't believe I waited so long to get my hands on one! In this full 1080p HD video I try to demonstrate some of the Summit's all round capabilities, hope you enjoy the show, and do watch in HD if your bandwidth permits... it's so much better!

Thanks mate. You know at first I didn't really care the Kawasaki livery but now it's grown on me for sure.
once I read a true sentence on one of RC forums, someone wrote: "every RC maniac should have Summit in the RC collection". I totally agree with it!

Great video! I don't know why I haven't looked at this truck more thoroughly. I always assumed it was just a crawler. I think your videos have influenced me towards purchasing a Summit.

Sweet, I have an old Traxxas Sledge Hammer that still runs (all stock) bur looking into another truck for bad flying days and this one look pretty cool with the all around capability! Thumbs up!
Go for it man, the Summit ain't fastest or most badass but it's such a great all rounder that I find myself using it far more often than any other truck in the garage. Tons of upgrades available now days, so if speed is essential it's achievable.

Thanks dude. I think a lot people overlook them because they want something faster. The Summit is a true all rounder and if you want more speed it's a simple conversion to brushless. Go for it!

Coolest vid in utube history
You have a good eye! 80% of the shots were indeed hand held but the balanced optical steady shot system in my Sony camcorder eliminates most of the 'hand wobble'. It's a great camera and I purchased it for this system alone. Thanks for watching, new Summit video coming soon : )
You can run LiPo's no problem, but if you have an older ESC you will need to plug an alarm into your packs to tell you when you have reached low voltage, otherwise they will drain below capacity. Noted about sand, was planning a trip to the beach soon actually. Thanks for watching.

+GiantmanSystems My summit I broke it so bad :D its getting all the goodies now, a dewalt 14.4v, a bec, a savox 1230sg 500 oz/in servo(stripped the 2075 servos within 6months) expensive! And I still want to do more to it!

hey man, i'm buying a summit in the next few days and I need to know if you can lock the diffs and change gears on the fly or if you have to completely stop then shift or lock.
