Man, I use those action pose books all the time. I feel like it's easy to fall into the trap of, oh I need to draw a punch. Sometimes just a different angle or different move helps a lot. I just bought a dance one and I think Jim is 100. A lot of full images and well they know their market. There are a couple I wish I could snag from you. Thanks for the videos!
hydrofusion For the first one type in “New Pose Catalogue 3”, for the second one type in “Real Action Pose Collection 2”, they also have them on amazon and animebooks.com
yesssssssss. The Way of the House Husband got use of that Yakuza book no doubt. Not as fun, but I've used anatomy360.info/ for static poses and lighting The Definitive Edition of Robert Capa (& Taro) is a good photography book on its own and harrowing of the times, but I was gonna use that for a reference as well. This might be off the beaten path, but Ed might like the work of Sarah Sitkin: she does body/horror installations. And getting real freaky, Hans Bellmar.
Love how these books aggregate so many things into one page.
I like these quick one and done vids. Great content for the smart marks.

I don't know about those in specific, but if you search Real action pose you'll find some
I did buy one of those when I was in Japan, and I love to show it to my cartoonist friends but I don't use it that much !
Action Bible😂 not to be confused with Sergio Cariello’s rendition
