There is a story reason why the Great Fairies moved, all four of them mention wanting to be close to a stable to get more visitors and listen to the music from the Stable Trotters
I think the fairies themselves mention it if you talk to them before they're released from their buds, + a few random NPCs around the stables say something too, I vaguely remember
Also Age of Calamity showed us their Bud can move around. And before someone says "But Age of Calamity isn't canon" I'll say that at this point after Tears the 3 games are more connected than people realize. I mean why would Terrako react to Zelda's light powers? He clearly reacted to her time powers, hence why he was able to not only travel to the past but also bring the champions descendants to the past but who was one of the descendants Terrako brought from the future? Tulin which makes no sense until you remember he's the wind sage on Tears of the Kingdom.
Age of Calamity takes place in a new splinter timeline. It is _semicanonical_ in that the characters exist and most of the events happened in some way, but the exact way they happened in BotW and in AoC is markedly different. For one, the future Sages never went back in time, and obviously they couldn't have beaten Calamity Ganon in the past.
One thing that's easily overlooked is Granté is still in TOTK, he just changed his name to Grantéson and is in charge of helping you set up the dream home. He also happens to be the son of Robbie and Jerryn from the Tech Lab.
I was honestly pretty floored when I found out how much changed in the plains west of Tarrey Town. That whole area has had so much construction and sky rubble that it almost feels like a new location.
I know! I should have gone a bit farther to mention more bc i say in the lanayru video how shatterback point /mipha court is probably the most changed area that npcs of hyrule have rebuilt, but west of tarrey town has changed just as much
15:28 so ironic that the unflattering drawing of Link the Yiga made resembles Ganondorf more. they drew on those horens and fangs with the intent of making Link look bad without realizing that the person they worship resembles the drawing more.
@@fuery. is there a Stalnox anywhere in that spot in the depths? Maybe he’s the one that wandered over to the cave near the tingle islands. Which I think he forgot to cover in the video, or was that part of Lanayru now that I’m thinking
id love a full video about the dragons… theyve always been my fav part of botw/totk, i was SO happy that you could actually ride on their backs in totk :”) awesome vid as usual, love these regional comparisons!!!
5:44 I used Zonai fans to awkwardly get the cucco out of the well and was confused at why this didn't accomplish anything. The idea of bringing another down into the well never even occurred to me...
Akkala was one of the very first areas I visited after obtaining the Paraglider. I loved going here in Breath if the Wild and heading to Tarrey Town was one of my first objectives after activating the region's Skytower. It felt jarring seeing Death Mountain in a dormant state since it was a common sight seeing the rivers of lava in this region back in BotW.
Omg right it's so weird not seeing lava on Death Mountain I'm starting to explore it and I'm like this is weird im so use to link burning up in Breath of the Wild when entering the area that it not happening in totk is so strange 😂
Was so disappointed with Akkala Citadel. After seeing how it looked on the inside in Age of Calamity I thought it would've been cool to tunnel through the layout instead of it just looking like another dime a dozen cave

Granté didn’t leave town, he instead changed his name to Grantéson so that he could be hired by Hudson Construction, and is the person who sells you rooms for your dream home.
@@Finity_twenty_ten it'll get covered in the laybrynth-specific video. I did the same for the gerudo laybrynth and will for the hebra one too. The only reason i even entered is bc the cave system led there
i skipped so much in Akkala because there's rarely the need to traverse on land. you either fly with a bike, or travel through the sky to begin with. iconic akkala fort which was pretty well featured in hyrule warriors age of calamity now was just a side stop i didn't bother to search through alot. i landed on top, found some bits and pieces, and went on my ways to the overtaken tech lab.
I love how the most important tear of the Light dragon in TOTK is in the same location as a Sheikah activation point in BOTW. It’s almost like the ancient Sheikah knew the importance of the tear and preserved the pool as part of their training apparatus for their chosen hero. Perhaps the hero trained by the Sheikah that defeated the calamity 10,000 years before the events of BOTW also saw Zelda’s memory as part of their training. Obviously this is just fan theory, but I really like the fan idea that the Sheikah were aware of the Zonai and the kingdoms founding, and that influenced some of their technology like the Divine beasts
I like to go back and forth between what changes mean for npcs within the hyrule lore, as well as meant to members of the development team who chose to make them.
In the cutscenes in TotK after each regional boss, I think there's a Sheikah symbol in the cloudy background when each Sage tells their tale? Make of that what you will.
With the fairy at 2:08 I think they mentioned something during the stable trotter quests that the fairies moved closer to the stables to enjoy the music or something. I could be wrong though
The guy in 7:28 is Robbie's son, Granté. He later changed his name to Grantéson (Coz of Hudson construction requirement) and is now the Construction guy that helps you buy and build your house parts
2:03: The reason why the fountains moved is so they could each be closer to respective stables, so Link could escort the members of the Stable Trotters more easily to each one.
The Great Fairies claim that they moved closer to the Stables, as to get more traffic. They were very out of the way in botw but are more noticeable in totk.
Grante didn’t really move out of town technically. He just changed his name to granteson and helps you build your dream home. Idk if that counts a tardy town tho. 7:30

I feel like the Hudson company is turning out to be a rockefeller type company soon. They have a total monopoly on all new construction, and they have the power to CLEAR OUT entire wetlands for .. racing tracks 😂
The champion abilities vs ghost powers comparison is one I'm looking forward to because I find their differences fascinating. I could go on and on about my thoughts on that whole system.
