Same! I thought new way to blood moon? Was exceited about the difficulty. Later on I got disappointed by how easy it was to "beat" it just by finding high ground or getting far away enough.
When I landed feom the Great Sky Island I went straight to Hyrule Castle, and I _narrowly_ a Gloom Spawn that was located in Hyrule Castle Town, southwest of the Hyrule Cathedral (close to the Hudson Contruction material deposit). I was unaware about their existence until I was in the Great Plateau, close to the Hopper Pond.
Right?! This one might have been the first perfect match if I remember correctly. The others I believe held the stick in opposite hands or one stands while the other flies
this is a very small detail but i really love how you keep the original audio from the game in the background.. i love the sounds of the ui and such so its nice to hear the little blips under the music and your voice :-) keep up the fantastic work 🫶🍕
i just went through the entire playlist of Hyrule Comparisons just to make sure i liked every video. These are so informative and well edited, they deserve much more attention than they get!
This may come across as kinda weird, but I genuinely mean it as a compliment. I love how often your gameplay footage includes you kinda fumbling around, for lack of a better term. Missing the falling dandelion and cutting just before you walk off the cliff, blowing yourself up on rock deposits, etc.... It reminds me of Minecraft builders who include when they misplace and fix a block, it just makes it feel more organic to me. Idk, I just have a soft spot for suboptimal play. Probably because it looks a lot like how it looks when I play myself lol It also shows off your good sense of comedic timing, with your cuts and the clips you choose. I just love this series a lot, it really scratches that hyperfocus itch.
It’s been a hot minute since I played TOTK but I’m pretty sure the reason why the frogs glasses are missing and some of the decorations are gone is because purah took it with her when she moved but I might be misremembering
That's good to know, thanks. I'm not sure what to call that region for when i do that tour of the map. Im thinking "typhlo ruins/woodland" or "upper central hyrule" it'll cover basically everything behind the castle between eldin and tabantha tundra, but it doesnt have a regional name on the actual map, so we'll see 🤔
@@TheZeldaEnthusiast I may be wrong, but that place is called Great Hyrule Forest in the game (like West/East Necluda and Gerudo Desert - "subregions"). It goes from Hyrule Ridge North (north of Lindor's Brow and North Hyrule Plains), to Mount Drena, Thyplo Ruins and Eldin Canyon (there is the western portion of Eldin Canyon north of the forest).
Elma Knolls Chasm and Elma Knolls Well are two different locations (although they are nearby). Elma Knolls Well is a big wet cave with some Horriblins, Like Likes and a shrine in it.
Actually, east of the forgotten temple has another well that is also a chasm. What’s funny is that I thought THAT well was the only one that did something like that. Basically, we are thing vice versa. Lol.
I love these videos! I only just finished Tears of the Kingdom about a month ago and I’ve been enjoying going through these and seeing all the changes that I didn’t notice.
16:35 I believe Korok appearances are randomized in each playthrough. There are over 20 different configurations of leaves, face positions, body colors, etc. that they can take on when they spawn. I think it's just a coincidence that these two look similar. If I'm wrong, though, please feel free to correct me in the next video! Keep up the good work!
This is like the only series I watch after my Zelda “phase” ends. It’s just that good Btw by phase I mean like were I’m obsessed with all things Zelda for a while
I love these videos! One thing I don’t think you mentioned is that the giant horse (red-maned) now lives in that Hateno Bay region-perhaps the reason for the extended road?
I haven't played ToTK in a long while. This makes me wanna open it up and play it like right now. I got 'bored' of totk much faster than BoTW. Where I played BoTW 5 times.
In my recent Breath of the Wild playthrough, I came across the part of the Dueling Peaks mountain in Tears of the Kingdom with the Yiga clan ambush and got attacked by a Yiga clan scout.
Are you running any mods or anything? Your zonai shrines look so cool! Idk if im on smth or what but i swear i can see some black flowy stuff where the green flowy spirals are on them, especially at 4:35 !
Question: Do you think TOTK is confirmed done for not getting any additional content like a Master Mode? Is it out of their attention or picture now that Echoes of Wisdom is coming out soon? Maybe a September nintendo direct will subvert our expectations.

There is another chasm well at -1070 2327 0114 near the forgotten temple and the Kiuyoyou shrine, hope this helps
Looks like I'll get that one in the Hyrule Ridge video. Thanks!
Isn't the well near Gleeok Bridge also a chasm well?
@@modestheliolisk yes, someone else mentioned that too. I'll cover both of them in the hyrule ridge video
Yeah, it is the Rowan Plain Well!
I found 2 more wells that are secret depth chasms. One north of gleeok bridge, and the other on the northside of Rowan plain.
Nice! Looking at the map, it looks like I'll cover both of those in the hyrule ridge episode. Thanks for the heads up!
those are so annoying, i want my mini cave, not a portal to hell!
The gloom spawn near the floating shrine was one of the first things I ran into once I landed from the Great Sky Island 😭
Same! I thought new way to blood moon? Was exceited about the difficulty. Later on I got disappointed by how easy it was to "beat" it just by finding high ground or getting far away enough.
Me too!
In every save file I've done, that's been my first Gloom Spawn.
Oh, nice, good morning, and I'm excited to see another identical Korok pair!
Right?! This one might have been the first perfect match if I remember correctly. The others I believe held the stick in opposite hands or one stands while the other flies
@@TheZeldaEnthusiast I just said that not knowing what was in the video, but sure enough at16:33 there's a perfect match! Nice!

I think it's cool watching him get more items as the series continues

Lol thanks! I do purposely leave those shots in for comedic relief. Thanks for noticing!
nothing makes me laugh more than when he says "in tears there's a lynel here now" and he just gets decimated because same
It’s been a hot minute since I played TOTK but I’m pretty sure the reason why the frogs glasses are missing and some of the decorations are gone is because purah took it with her when she moved but I might be misremembering
Yeah, the telescope is at lookout landing now and i believe the frog is dressed there too. Should have thrown that into the script. Good call
Another well with a shrine is located in Great Hyrule Forest (the dark well). I believe it's the Elma Knools Well (south of the chasm).
That's good to know, thanks. I'm not sure what to call that region for when i do that tour of the map. After watching this video going right to bed. This series always cleanses my mind with useless information
Thank you very much for your hard work - really appreciate such a comprehensive and detailed video. 🙏
Thank YOU! Happy you enjoy them 😀

I really like this series
20:33 I see you trying to fuse the arrow lol
That is SO TRUE! 🤣

I think your video is neat! I keep chuckling hoping for matching koroks
Thanks! There have been a few throughout the series. At 16:33 this one had a perfect match 😉
7:56 there are actually three wells with chasms across Hyrule in TotK like this, both of the other two are far more western though
There are 3 wells that lead to the depths. the one in this video, one on the clifftop nearby the Forgotten Temple, and one west to the ancient stump.
There is also one near the geoglyphe who represent a molduga.
This dude is awesome. Every time he uploads, my day is better
Thank you. That means so much!
there is another well on the east north side of the big ravine that leads to the depths
This is like the only series I watch after my Zelda “phase” ends.
It’s just that good

Fun fact: Did you know that there is a sky island in this region that is so low to the ground that the game considers it a mountain on the surface.
A heart-shaped leaf korok named potato? Quinbobin, is it you?👀
5:23
That's actually Cado's house lol
Tony fought those monsters and they attacked the guy😂😂😂😂 I can show u
Ive been thinking the blood soaked walls were rust like it was some sort of rebarb in the structure.
You forgot to mention on the cliff of cape cales, there is a korok that needs to reach his friend

thanks for the pin on the last episode
Np! I've got my own comment pinned in this one, so maybe again next time lol
UA-cam really needs to make it so you can pin more than one comment lol
Gloom Spawn in the bottom of the well should have been it
what about the pacman made out of rocks near hateno village
nice vid
Cado’s house was smashed not Dorian’s
i think "bloodstains" are paint
The audio is really bad, it's difficult to hear you throughout
