    I love your tutorials. It would be extremely helpful if you could do a video on increasing and decreasing In stitch pattern (garment shaping). I have been trying make a sweater for years. Not knowing how to increase or decrease in (stitch pattern) has been holding me back unfortunately.

      Please add or take off using plain straight stitch every time you don't have enough stitches for a repetition.

    Hi Joanne! This is such a lovely stitch, thank you very much for sharing it with us. I’m thinking about knitting a jumper using this stitch. Could you tell me the best way to do increases with this?

      Add one stitch at a time, work them as if doing straight stitch and make a new "knot" when you have the 3 required.

    This may be a silly question and I apologize if it is- I am self taught through different you tube videos ( including yours thank you)- how could I use this pattern to make a shawl?

    • @charmingAmy
      @charmingAmy 5 років тому

      @jfsfrnd any shawl I guess. I am still a newbie. I wish i could write a pattern or something.

      Make a swatch and see how many stitches you get for 4 inches. Then see how wide you want it, based on this sample. Add at least 3 to 4 stitches on each side of garter or seed stitch, to make the edges look sturdy.

      Cast on your stitches and start with the first row.
