It can still increase the odds of you crossing the four debuff threshold *massively*. A lot of statuses are RNG, where as this one isn't. So it can actually be useful.
Like he said, I think it's still really great for Death Mark -- it's the only guaranteed debuf on hit, excluding the Urn, and massive stacks of other items.
Nah, if you have enough crit and scythe which every build should have sooner or later, aegis is the key to a god run. In this case opinion is also a nice damage boost.
Aegis can be pretty op on Huntress if you're playing with artifact of command. Having 100% Crit with a few scythes can make you immortal (except against void reavers of course).
I don't play much risk of rain but you are faster than all of the enemies. I'd rather kill enemies to get money to get some items while I'm trying to find the teleporter.

I think I have an interesting idea for a video: discussing unique item combinations. As an example, I had a run where I ended up making a makeshift Tesla Coil (which was handy considering I never came across one for the entirety of that run). The basic items I used to make it were Razor Wire, Gesture of the Drowned, and Hellfire Tincture (obviously I had more than one Wire and Gesture). The way it worked was that every 10-15 seconds, the Hellfire Tincture would self-activate due to the Gestures, and because I was being damaged by the Tincture, it activated the Razor Wire and shot projectiles at nearby enemies. Yes, this combo does cause you to take damage, but if combined with good healing items and some Shaped Glass, it can be terrifyingly efficient. While not as intricate, there's also another combo that I like to call the Bottomless Missile Launcher. It's not an easy-to-build combo, but it's super entertaining when you manage to make it. The combo consists of a Disposable Missile Launcher, a Soulbound Catalyst, and a shit-ton on Gestures and Fuel Cells. The combo is pretty self-explanatory: it never stops firing missiles. Once you've found enough Gestures and Cells, you can basically stand back and watch as the Missile Launcher kills everything for you, as the more it kills, the more missiles it fires off. These are only a couple examples that I personally know of, but I'm sure there's plenty more that I haven't discovered yet. That's why I think a video talking about fun and/or broken item combos would be really interesting.
I love the missile launcher one. I had that setup on a run, dropped my launcher once to use something else for a bit, and I kept shooting missiles for... about 30 seconds?
I’ve found that headstompers is useful when you combine it with Acrid and the milky chrysalis. The slam effect can be activated while using acrids leap. You can hold you leap with chrysalis. Fly over to an enemy and slam down with the fury of a poison doggo who has gotten no meat during the run
i just had a run multiplayer merc run with quadruple scythes, three predatories, rejuv rack + N'kuhana and some glasses. It was really cool, as i ulted, i'd get some crits and fire off skulls. Those skulls in turn give me more attack speed. It was hella satisfying to play with. Needs a lot of good RNG for sure, but it wasnt something i had thought of
After watching Kjaro's Band proc for about a week, it actually seems like it's a DoT inside of a small radius, not instant like Runald's. That said, enemies that are small and even remotely mobile can simply leave the fire tornado and avoid most of the damage. If this is true, then Chronobauble might be a little bit less shit, since it helps to keep enemies inside the radius of the Kjaro's Band so they actually take the 500% damage.
@@cccccaaaaassssssss The bands back when I made this comment weren't quite like they are now. Kjaro's Band's AoE was MUCH smaller than it is now, among other things. Enemies moving just a step or two was enough to leave the radius, so while the freeze from a Runald's Band could help, it wasn't enough to lock down an enemy properly to get the effect of Kjaro's Band. Chronobauble could delay them enough to get a few extra ticks of damage in. Now that Kjaro's Band got more than a 2.5x radius buff, it's not so much a problem.
@@TrueEvil_ man I miss old bands, the new ones are cool and I understand why they were changed, but if your char doesn't have burst then they're kinda not good
Maybe a lot has changed since this video came out, but I’ve always loved Aegis since it’s kinda critical to surviving after you pick up 2-3 shaped glass (if you get hit that is), and synergies greatly with corpsebloom and wungus
i do agree with you placing with aegis when put in the context of its relative use. however similar with engineer and fungus, rex with aegis is very powerful, especially because his main healing (m1) scales off of the damage you do with it, meaning that if you get a decent amount of damage/attack speed, you can easily maintain top barrier without having the need to actually kill enemies, letting you tank things better overall .
I found that the chronobauble actually has a tiny itty bit of use, early on as Rex to help land his mortars. Before you get his healing abilities up, mortars are rather HP costly, so a chrono can help with firing at long distance enemies since you may not always get his final syringe hit for the slow on distant targets. that being said, a tiny bit useful in a niche situation still isn't useful overall. It desperately needs a buff.
A single Chronobauble is actually useful late game. not because it's slow is remotely useful, but because it procs on 100% of attacks and counts as a debuff, and therefore makes procing deathmarks on enemies easier. beyond the 1 of chrono though, 100% useless.
I like skulls on rex too. And since rex and engineer are 2 of the best characters in the game i cant rate skulls worse than those legends, head, mask and vultures. Usually very strong on at least 1 character ( but then again i mainly play with friends). Guess this is based on single player.
Tips for newer viewers: -Medkit and warbanner were buffed, medkit now heals a percentage of your max HP and banner procs when you activate teleporter -Bauble still sucks unless you're trying to proc Death Mark, as it counts as one of the four required debuffs -Blast Shower is now good as it resets the cooldown on Kjaro's/Runald's Bands That's basically it
Holy shit the medkit used to only do TEN HEALTH Man some items were ass before I started playing I was confused why the medkit was here cause I'm just like "it can seriously help while you're making a 'tactical retreat' by giving you a boost of hp after you get out" Its not AP Rounds or Lens Maker but it's a pretty decent white imo
I actually think the Effigy is even worse than you think. I think it has negative value, being useless would be compliment to it. Why? Because the moment you use it, it spawns CENTERED ON YOU. Meaning, everytime you use it, you are being slowed and your armor is being debuffed for a short moment if you have a blink and for 1-2 seconds if you don't. Meaning, using the Effigy makes you the very first vulnarable target and can highly increase your chances of dying in that window. This item is the worst item in the game in my opinion. Even if we don't consider that it is a Lunar item, the items you pay premium currency for that should be high class stuff. So I know you mentioned this about the Effigy, just wanted to emphasize that I believe it is worse than useless because of that. By the way, rip frost relic in this game. In Risk of Rain 1 it was very tiny but did HUGE damage, so it was a very risk reward kinda item and very very good on melee survivors. The current frost relic in Risk of Rain 2 is kind of a mix of the old frost relic and the chargefield generator. An item that spawned a ring of electricity around you that got bigger when you killed enemies, as long as you kept killing enemies it would reset the duration and get bigger, with seemingly no limit to it. It did not do a lot of damage at all, but it hit everything on screen in a lategame run. So it automatically took care of small nuicances like Jellyfish and lesser Wisps which was amazing to me. They kinda combined the two items and now we have an item that does too little damage to be worth going into melee for and that does not get big enough to use at long range. So they actually combined both items weaknesses instead of their strenghts and created an item that kind of tries to do 2 things but does them both wrong. Pretty sad considering it is a LEGENDARY item. The old 2 items were green items. So yeah, if they planned on making it a legendary, it totally deserved the powerboost of just being the other 2 combined. Like, actually doing good damage and being able to increase it to amazing ranges if you kill stuff every 2 seconds.
Ardyn Izunia ikr? that was my first thought when I got the new frost relic. Was in a call and was like OH SHIT ITS THE FROST RELIC! THAT SHIT WAS DOPE AF IN ROR1 TOTES DESERVES RARE RANK! And then it turns out to be a shadow of the shredding beast of an item it was once before. They really need to make the damage scale with kills more, maybe instead spawning 3 orbiting shards for each kill that deal a chunk of damage or block a projectile if they hit, spawning more shards up to a cap that scales with stacks
And as usual, engineer can take that shit item and make it much better. Being able to slow enemies approaching your turrets and having them take extra damage while doing so can be amazing, the second of being weakened not being an issue if you properly plan for it, which should be easy enough to think of when playing engi. Bonus if you take the charge damage mines and place them on the close edge of the bubble, so if they make it past the turret and engi fire they get extra strength nuke.
@@TheVercci I disagree because it is too situational. You do not want to place the effigy on your turrets so they get debuffed right? So you can only place it in one direction of your turrets and only cover like 1/8 of their surroundings. Maybe 1/4. But then again, the bubble is not that big and all monsters other than beetles and bulls do have ranged attacks. Which means, in a lot of scenarios, it won't help at all. So in your scenario, the enemies would have to come from one of 4 sides, actually walk into the effigy range instead of using ranged attacks AND happen to be the enemy your turret attacks. Because you CANNOT control which target your turrets choose. So what I am saying is, there are so many random factors in here that it won't work most of the time. Listen to Woolie. In every item tierlist he says that he knows every item can have a very specific scenario where it's amazing but that specific scenario does not mean the item is reliably good but maybe just good in 0.1% of cases. And let's not forget, effigy is completely useless against flying enemies. So no, the engineer does NOT make it a good item. I even think it is WORSE on the engineer because the turrets are not controlled by you. On other ranged survivors you can at least aim at enemies inside the debuff area at will, your turrets will not always do that. ALSO, consider that you are giving up your equipment slot for it. Engineer would much rather have a ton of other stuff compared to the effigy on it. So the effigy remains straight trash with honestly negative impact on a run outside of maybe that 0.1% chance scenario you described. But if the effigy only does something in 1000 runs I pick it up, why the hell would I pick it up? Learn from mistakes and don't wish for a random scenario that proves nothing.
I see all these comments about headstompers and red whip, but I'm not seeing any comments on wake of vultures, maybe I don't see its value or something, but I'd rather take any of the red items that Woolie mentioned than take a WoV.
people think the fire ticks and overloading bombs do decent dmg, but as we all know the dmg they give is not that good and falls off VERY HARD, and then sticks you with getting half shields whenever you kill an overloading, FUCK WoV it is trash
@@ahairylobster8524 it's because WoV is so cool, even if it isn't that great it's super noticeable. They just need to buff how elite prefixes affect us (why do enemies get higher health and damage, and we just get stupid meaningless effects?)
Any thoughts about ways to improve these items? Hopoo loves community feedback and a stream/UA-cam poll on what you think might be good (not broken) fixes would be fun.
He probably didnt put them there because at least they deal some decent damage and help with early game mobility when you have no items unlocked for speed
@@alendadochick2535 that's actually the opposite of why I didn't include them. headstompers deals negligible damage and actually shaft your early mobility heavily. it's more the fall dmg prevention + late game mobility
Woolie, I feel totally opposite - even lategame I find that all they do is let me trimp off of rocks and fly into orbit way more easily than I’d like I avoid stompers at all costs
I remember in the long time ago when Radar Scanner was an absolute requirement in long runs when I first started playing god knows how long ago. (There were only like 4 characters at the time) I hit a run with a Tougher Times 3D printer on level 5 and again on level 9 so I had 47 tougher times. Overloading Magma Worms started spawning basically non-stop so the entire map was just pitch black unless using a Radar Scanner pulse. Basically the only time the Radar Scanner was ever really useful.
By the way, if you are stacking elemental bands and lots of gestures, get blast shower. Its debuff-cleansing ability removes band cooldowns, meaning very reduced or possibly no cooldowns on bands.
I feel like eccentric vase if you pick it up early game without a choice of other equipments is fairly underrated. Some of my best runs were with stage one or two vase just because they cut so much time off of your run, I'd easily say they can cut travel time down by up to ten minutes early on which makes a pretty big difference in difficulty
There’s just so many better option vice has one purpose and it’s pil skipping there are so many better options for movement egg and milky. Chris are 10 times better and.
Why is every hating on WoV, it's honestly not that bad, doing extra damage and getting more shield, plus getting more thing to proc your on-hits, imo it;s great.
@@kribyy7784 I think its the shield that most people get bothered with. I've had a few runs with wake of vultures where I get the shield effect from an elite and then get killed. This happens because the shield can't be healed by healing items. If you want more info Woolie has a shields vs hp video. I also get killed because I'm bad but that's not relevant.
@@kribyy7784 I'm pretty sure the shield buff replaces half of your health with shield. If it was shield that raised your max combined health/shield pool temporarily that would be really good as no downside. That would make the item better, although not saying it's a change that needs to happen because you can't have all the items be really good.
I think an item that lets you see the contents of a chest would be awesome. Probably would require some changes in game design but it would lead to runs being a little more intentional and strategic. Maybe it could come at a cost like making you vulnerable to damage or costing gold.
In addition to being tough to use, the frost relic also gets you killed if you're jumping around looking up, or trying to kite enemies without being very aware of where you're going. Inevitably, you'll have a great run going and then jump next to a few of those explosive barrels on Rallypoint Delta and now you're dead.
I had a run where my legendary drops were frequent. Had 3 rejuvenation racks in a row. Then two aegis. A nukehana’s opinion, another rejuvenation rack, then 2 more aegis. This match lasted like 40 something stages mind you. Then I found the wood sprite equipment item. 4 aegis meant 200% healing converted to barrier, and 4 racks meant 500% healing. The wood sprite passively regens 1.5% max health. 7.5% max health converted to 15% max health worth of barriers per second. It regenerated faster than it decayed, even with the 9 shield generators I found.
The short cooldown of Blast shower paired with Gesture of the Drowned and a War Horn and I was pretty pleased. Wasn't my ideal setup but not having to worry about bleeds and burn damage as much was nice.
I really like Radar Scanner for the early to mid game. It saves time when running through a map looking for chests, and provides a benefit where other equipment provides none if the boss is easy enough to defeat without any equipment.
Provided it can proc other items (which I'm pretty sure it can?), N'kuhana's is definitely a synergy pickup. On its own, it's next to useless, but (again, assuming it can proc on-hit items) if you get it with stacks of ATG/bands/ukulele, it could help spread those. I just never see it enough to experiment with it.
I've gotten it lots on the engineer while also having at least 5 stacks of fungi. You're absolutely right, while the range isn't that great, it provides a great catalyst for those "chain rection proc" builds. You just have to play around your turrets.
i remember back when i played risk of rain 1, the frost relic was my favorite item to get, because it was the basis behind my favorite playstyle in the game, the tankgineer, where you place both sentrys right next to you, spam landmines, and then let everything die before you edit no it didnt work well
As a new player, the radar scanner has been a huge help in finding the portal faster. I can imagine with more skill I will have a better idea where they tend to spawn, so I get why it is considered a less useful item
@@Woolie also the ice storm is risky ye but it can trigger on hit effects, so its good if you have a lot of missiles and stuff. it also can have its duration essentially infinite as long as youre continually killing enemies. maybe this was different too
Love the list, but i do have two expectations with the legendary items; Aegis isnt amazing *but* its pretty game-breaking with the right setup on REX and Engie. N'kuns is the exact same story. Plus with enough regen going on, it can be a reliable way to deal with wisps. Its range isn't quite as bad as ive seen you state, ive seen it target and hit things outside even Huntress range. They definitely require a certain setup but when they're as good as they can be *with* that setup i can't see them as the worst red items. Id replaces them with wake and mask honestly. Both have extremely marginal upsides, but can both end up getting you killed which i think if a legendary item can make your build worse, it definitely should take the spot as worst. Mask can get you killed void reavers or Clay dunestriders and losing half hp to Lighting aspect with Wake can also be a run ender. And both dont really have a good upside to warrant the risk, some distractions from ghosts and slight extra damage from wake is not worth it at all
Yeah, I forgot mask could screw you over with dunestriders and it never crossed my mind to be scared of ghost void reavers. I know another red I'm going to be avoiding from now on.
For me, the happiest mask and wake can be quite good on any survivor. Happiest mask reduces aggro considerably while giving ok damage output early game. A ghost version of a wandering vagrant can actually straight up screen clear, and ghostly jellyfish blow up anything they touch. Wake of vultures can give three useful effects. The overloading effect gives 50% more total damage, very similar to a bazooka for 8 seconds after killing an overloading enemy. This can be permanent lategame, and combined with the fire affix, and you can double your damage early with both those buffs and increase it by about 70-80% in the late game. That's pretty damn good, and it's easy to abuse if you're aware. While wake is bad on rex and anyone that's glass stacking, it can be very powerful on every other survivor. Happiest mask is only bad if you're not paying attention to dunestriders that turn to ghosts or if you're going past stage 20 with clovers. It will tank your frames at that point, but how often does that happen? I usually obliterate on stage 12-16 since everything instantly dies after that, and the game gets boring. Before that time, happiest mask is actually powerful. Aegis is good on two survivors - Rex and the engineer. No one else can overheal like that without an enormous backbone of items, which is just impractical. Everyone else gets a significant power drop for wasting their time killing the alloy starship or saving up for the gold chest. The same could be said for nukahanas, but I would still rather have at least 10 of the other reds rather than the nukahanas on Rex, meaning it's still pretty bad. A Razor Wire is much, much more powerful by comparison and so is a tesla coil. It's only powerful on the Engineer. Imo, these were good choices.
Med kit now heal 5% max HP per stack, after 2 second without taking hit. It won't save you from constant damage but it does give a good chunk of heal against an unfortunate lucky hit. Also Warbanner now trigger at every TP event. When it's most important (doesn't help against Mithrix)
Chronobauble caps at 1 Not because it stops stacking, but because the slowdown effect is utterly useless afterwards. At just 1 stack it has already served its purpose of giving 1 debugf towards death marker and can already severely slow mithrix
Woolie: worst legendaries are aegis, frost relic, and nkuhana's opinion.... Headstompers : phew thank god also Headstompers : NICE GLIDING MECHANIC ARTIFICER WOOPS ITS GONE NOW
@@Z4Zman yeah, they patched that a long while back on PC and set the activation to a long press of the [interact] (E by default) key. Pretty sure the patch for it already hit consoles, too. For what it's worth, it really was an awful item for me before that change. Holding jump for a millisecond too long would mean I was slamming back into the middle of a swarm that I was trying to get away from. The damage radius isn't that big, so it was real easy to accidentally suicide-slam into a meat grinder of enemies. Making it a more deliberate activation was a huge help. As an item, it really only removes fall damage, adds a situational nuke, and slightly boosts jump height. Not the best, but also not makes-you-easily-kill-yourself worst anymore.
I will say scanner is kinda good for a newer player to help learn where things are, and if you’re doing savrifice artifact the only ? Is the newt statue. If you have some regenerating scrap going that’s really good to find quickly and often, because even if you know where they can spawn it takes a lot of time to go find it and check if it appeared there since they’re often out of the way.
I like how now the medkid is now a much better option due the the buff it recieved. like stack a few and heal a good chunk of your max hp in % after being hurt so it stacks infinitely
RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE And I actually think of Medkit as the HP equivalent of Shield regeneration. Chronobauble is perfect for keeping enemies hit by a proc chain within range of other proc chain effects, so that a fast and tanky enemy (elder lemurian, a Parent, or an elite bison doesn’t) charge through your entire onslaught of damage (especially the green spiky elites). As for radar scanner, just fork it over to an equipment drone, 4head.
Engineer seems to make a lot of normally useless items extremely useful in almost every color category in my monsoon runs I find myself being overjoyed over having a bunch of mushrooms and n'khuana whereas with anyone else I'm actually suffering.
the chronobauble is actually decent in one of 3 scenarios. 1: you’re using a skill that needs to aim (IE: rebar puncher) at a high range and won’t one-shot so you gotta hit both attacks. 2: you need an enemy to stay in an AOE of some sort. 3: you’re tryna circle around an enemy as bandit to hit that back-stab and you’re too slow to do it.
I actually do like Chronobauble with Engineer's moving turrets since their beams would apply perma slows. But that's just because I like having minions walking around with me and causing mayhem. I don't think it's exactly good, but that is one scenario where I actually do like having the item.
Chronobauble NOW AFTER THE UPDATE* has it's use as it greatly synergies with Death Mark. It's still overall a bad item but it's strength is that it has 100% chance to proc giving you a free debuff to activate your Death Mark faster and more often (Which is very strong).
Man, the engineer is so different Aegis and Opinion are amazing on him, if you somehow get the double healing red, and have a little turret heal bubble, teleport bosses die before you even see them!
If you're willing to mod the game, there's a Chronobauble fix out there that makes it also affect enemies' attack speed (even slowing them mid-attack). Also one I like that triggers Warbanner on every teleporter event. There are other cool tweaks out there; Corpsebloom stacking fix, move Lepton Daisy to white tier, Better Bazaar is one of my favorites... plus you can amp up the difficulty a bit more with a difficulty mod. Point is, I'm so happy the modding community is giving more love to some of these less useful items to give greater consistency to runs. Less "Curse you RNG!!!" when you can't quite get enough good ones
When thinking chronobauble as a offensive item it’s actually slightly better but not by much. Basically smacking the enemy of choice basically means it cannot escape from your wrath. Notable examples are hermit crabs and the imp overlord.
Surprised to see the Blast Shower here. There are a few better use items depending on your build and the scenario but I love its ability to remove the malachite debuff. It’s niche but it has a low cooldown and fuel cells and/or gestures make it basically always ready.
I think he should make another set of tier-list videos, now that 2 Updates (including release update, a pretty big one) came out since the last set of tier list videos. I'm lowkey interested in boss items again. The Shatterspleen and the Urn (in Singleplayer) are godly. And we have a new batch of Lunar/Equipment items to mess around with again
You mentioned Engineer being an exception a lot. I actually hope for N'kuhanas and Aegis as an Engineer main. Pair those with some shrooms and ita essentially free healing and damage. Only ever had one run with both but a.man can always hope.
Aegis is really good with engineer and bustling fungus. I know you said not to mention specific occurrences, but I think this should be mentioned if you also mentioned the fungus/engineer turrets combo, especially since it isn't a specific occurrence, just a combination of items.
blast shower stands out above jade elephant in that it doesnt make noise every time its activated :eyes: my brother forgot jade elephant has that and slapped it on with his five gestures and four fuel cells and immediately regretted it lmao
The only notable I have to add is for Frost relic. It can be strong if you not only plan to get strides, but already have it in 1-2 stacks. Strides invuln time at 2 stacks is 6 seconds with a 50% max health heal. Meaning you could kill a small crowd of trash mobs or wisps then stride directly into a boss or difficult elite. However, this still isn't strong OR safe. As when stride ends, so too does your chances of surviving if you didn't kill. And the only safety you can give yourself lies in your equipment. It's actually for this reason I prefer dml over most equips while running stride. Nothing is more fun than nuking ads and striding face first into 5 overloading vagrants as they shoot their homing balls continually feeding Frost relic scaling the damage done and then finally ending with a bang.
I use aegis all the time because i stack attack speed with crits and harvester scythes and get a free extra health bar that stays up while killing or just hitting enemies. Really great on big enemies way better than a brooches effect for that but i tend to mix a bit of both
Isnt the Chronobauble good for stacking multiple debuffs? Makes it really easy and fast to get the 4 debuffs needed for the 50% damage bonus on one item whose name I dont remember. True you dont really need more than 1, but the extra duration helps to ensure your damage buff remains on the enemy if you dont blow them up fast or only just hit them a little in passing.
I'd say Aegis is ALSO situational. I had a run with Engineer where I got many Bustling Fungus and leeching seeds + an Aegis and I became an unkillable god essentially. I could tank pretty much anything in my way.
Instead of eccentric vase they should have added polished marble from the first game. yes its use is limited but still useful like dropping the gate at the teleporter then running around for loot then returning to it with the press of a button.

I had that setup on a run, dropped my launcher once to use something else for a bit, and I kept shooting missiles for... about 30 seconds?
shit ton of fuel cells, and some gestures + any equipment is generally a good combo.

After watching Kjaro's Band proc for about a week, it actually seems like it's a DoT inside of a small radius, not instant like Runald's. That said, enemies that are small and even remotely mobile can simply leave the fire tornado and avoid most of the damage.
If this is true, then Chronobauble might be a little bit less shit, since it helps to keep enemies inside the radius of the Kjaro's Band so they actually take the 500% damage.
i know this comment was a year ago, but getting runalds band completely fixes this problem
Now that Kjaro's Band got more than a 2.5x radius buff, it's not so much a problem.

i do agree with you placing with aegis when put in the context of its relative use. however similar with engineer and fungus, rex with aegis is very powerful, especially because his main healing (m1) scales off of the damage you do with it, meaning that if you get a decent amount of damage/attack speed, you can easily maintain top barrier without having the need to actually kill enemies, letting you tank things better overall .
don't forget to add (hidden realms update) to the title after artifacts 2.0
Watching this video in 2022, I realize that they really hit the nail on the head with the medkit and warbanner buffs
It desperately needs a buff.
blast shower is actually really good if you can get enough CD reduction, it resets band cooldowns which results in a ridiculous amount of dps
Tips for newer viewers:
-Medkit and warbanner were buffed, medkit now heals a percentage of your max HP and banner procs when you activate teleporter
-Bauble still sucks unless you're trying to proc Death Mark, as it counts as one of the four required debuffs
-Blast Shower is now good as it resets the cooldown on Kjaro's/Runald's Bands
That's basically it
And black shower also refreshes safer spaces, a corrupted tougher times chance all hit to the damage
Holy shit the medkit used to only do TEN HEALTH
Man some items were ass before I started playing
I was confused why the medkit was here cause I'm just like "it can seriously help while you're making a 'tactical retreat' by giving you a boost of hp after you get out"
Its not AP Rounds or Lens Maker but it's a pretty decent white imo
Yeah, it’s busted with hellfire tincture like damage every .01 second Kahana
@@TheVercci
I disagree because it is too situational.
Frost relic in RoR2 got the recessive genes.

In my own opinion I think the skull healing item goes well with crit healing because the skull can crit and fire again.

I'm surprised you didn't mention Wake of Vultures and head stompers. Those are legendaries I actively avoid.
I feel like his opinion changed on those. He used to avoid them as well.
@@kribyy7784 I'm pretty sure the shield buff replaces half of your health with shield. If it was shield that raised your max combined health/shield pool temporarily that would be really good as no downside. Aegis, bustling fungus, and engineer, place your sentries right next to each other so the healing is doubled, and then plop yourself right in-between.
acrid with wings is fking hilarious. Its like seeing shrek wearing a princess gown, polar oppsites
The effigy of grief actually spawns where you are looking, but that is typical right in front of you so you get caught in it most of the time
The short cooldown of Blast shower paired with Gesture of the Drowned and a War Horn and I was pretty pleased.
For some reason, the wiki doesn't list Proc Coefficient for it, but I could swear I've seen it proc stuff before.

The thing now practically deletes anything that's a Lemurian and smaller (and elites too).
It actually doesn't take away health
Med kit now heal 5% max HP per stack, after 2 second without taking hit. It won't save you from constant damage but it does give a good chunk of heal against an unfortunate lucky hit.
Also Warbanner now trigger at every TP event. When it's most important (doesn't help against Mithrix)
Bungus essentially becomes an S+ tier item when used by engineer, which is one of the reasons I love that survivor that much.
Love the vid!!
You didn't talk about it but blast shower is literally for people who has trouble dealing with malachite. That's the whole purpose of this item :P
that item is really good late game with all the burns and bleeds that the scavs start stacking on you
Chronobauble caps at 1
Not because it stops stacking, but because the slowdown effect is utterly useless afterwards.
At just 1 stack it has already served its purpose of giving 1 debugf towards death marker and can already severely slow mithrix
Woolie: worst legendaries are aegis, frost relic, and nkuhana's opinion....
Headstompers : phew thank god
also Headstompers : NICE GLIDING MECHANIC ARTIFICER WOOPS ITS GONE NOW

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
And I actually think of Medkit as the HP equivalent of Shield regeneration.
I mean a combo of gestures and the blas shower could be very good to have a near constant effect of it.
I stopped listening to this guy back when he said "Red whip is bad"

He has a ranged attack
I've discovered that Mul-T with Aspect of Ice can refresh his life by just swaping mode, he can potentially heal himself constantly.
Huh. Never encountered that one with Mul-T, interesting to know.
I got confused about medkit being on this list for a moment until I saw that this was pre-buff lmao
the chronobauble is actually decent in one of 3 scenarios.
Man, the engineer is so different
Aegis and Opinion are amazing on him, if you somehow get the double healing red, and have a little turret heal bubble, teleport bosses die before you even see them!
Warbanner may be a weak Item but stacking it that it becomes the size of the Map is still pretty damn funny
Chronobauble is actually really good
...for being 1/4th of a deathmark activation.
I usually play engineer (uncommonly mercenary) so I was absolutely giggling at bungus and aegis being considered bad.
It’s niche but it has a low cooldown and fuel cells and/or gestures make it basically always ready.

blast shower stands out above jade elephant in that it doesnt make noise every time its activated :eyes: my brother forgot jade elephant has that and slapped it on with his five gestures and four fuel cells and immediately regretted it lmao
A bit surprised that Red Whip and Happiest Mask weren't mentioned in the video.
7:01 eccentric vase is a necessity for a mithrix run
change my mind
Corno is kinda usefull now, as it is a debuf for the new extra dmg on enemys with 4 debufs
Resident Bungus man would disagree.
Thank you for coming to my ted talk
I think the best use for the chronobauble is it works as a guaranteed point toward death mark
Right, this vid was made before Death Mark was an item tho
I'd say Aegis is ALSO situational. I had a run with Engineer where I got many Bustling Fungus and leeching seeds + an Aegis and I became an unkillable god essentially. I could tank pretty much anything in my way.
What are your thoughts on Medkit and N'kuhana's Opinion on Rex? Not necessarily in the same combo, but just the items working with Rex's kit?
once had a god tier engi run w nukahanas, aegis, rejuv rack and tonsa shrooms,
shit aint good, but its damn fun
challenge: use artifact of command and only ever pick these items.
Instead of eccentric vase they should have added polished marble from the first game. yes its use is limited but still useful like dropping the gate at the teleporter then running around for loot then returning to it with the press of a button.
Chronobauble does have a single use: stacking debuffs for death marks. That's it though, and you don't need more than one.
Now medkit is actually decent, healing a percentage instead of flat HP. Hooray
