The overall shape and style of the boot is definitely similar. They're not exactly the same, but the X 19.1 or X 18.1 would be the most similar in comparison to the X 16+.

You should be ok. Typically most leather boots work well if you have flat feet and are sensitive to tightness through the mid-foot.
